I installed the longer 16500 shocks the 16510 shocks it comes with were too low for me, its loads better on jumps and in grass now. A dumborc 4 channel radio definitely fixes the lag issue.
Nice! Good Info about the shocks and the radio! I assumed the TX/RX were the culprit of the lag, but I haven’t tried swapping that out yet. I’ll also have to look into to those shocks and give them a try.
Looks a ton better than my E-Revo VXL 1/16 that constantly breaks every run. I only run a single 7.2 volt NiMH battery on loose dirt & it still breaks, so I can only imagine how much worse the problem would be running a 2s or 3s lipo battery instead. It has certainly been the worst rc vehicle I have ever owned since I got into hobby grade rc vehicles in 1989.
I hate to say it but I feel the exact same way about my mini E-Revo. It’s still sitting here on the bottom shelf haha. I think the best I can do with it is find somewhere else to install the VXL system. But yeah I honestly do think that this Hyper Go is better than the mini Revo. I have already ran it like twice as much with no issues!
@@Bash_TheStampede yep it does!sounds like a squeaky shopping cart, started after I went into some wet grass and some dirt. I donno much about rc cars, if bearings are the things in the wheels how do I clean them out?
Ah ok so yes. I would recommend if you have the manual still to use the exploded view in there as a guide. It could be the axles, or bearings. If they’re not too bad you could probably use WD40 or some thin oil. If they’re super grimy you might want to soak them in a solvent first. I usually use brake cleaner because I have it on hand but that’s pretty nasty stuff and you don’t want to get it on any rubber or plastic if you can help it.
I may make a general maintenance video for RC Cars. I have a maintenance video for the TRX4M but I think a more general one would be a good idea. Thanks for the inspo and good luck!
loving the beach vibes 🏝️
Thank you!

my h16bm is squeaking while driving, have you encountered the same issue?
Mine hasn’t started squeaking yet. Does it seem like a bearing or something? Like does the squeaking speed up with the RPM?
