Damn fine vid mate!!! Really excellent! Looks & sounds like the restoration team have a lot to be very very proud of! And what an awesome addition to mainline excursions when she reaches that milestone
Coming from the country that started it all I can honestly say this is one of the finest restorations I have seen. A quick look at this :- www.brdatabase.info will make you realise just how utterly mad we are about steam and diesel. 36,000 steam and diesel eingines - bl**dy ell. We are even building new ones like 'Tornado' and 'The Prince of Wales' is next. Why ? The same reason this beast has blood in her viens again, we all admire a lovely piece of machinery. I well remember the days of steam and to be honest I like the idea of making a bacon sandwich on a coal shovel. However that Deltic was rather tasty. Your Di 1102 is a credit to all who helped restore her and may you go on to do many others. Good luck to you all - Regards.
What an awesome rebuild.
Loco looks in very good condition as good as new maybe better, beautiful paint, real nice shine deep luster, no visible dents i could see.
