  • I am feeding the grass and not the soil because this is the fastest way to fix and ugly lawn. Foliar applications of fertilizer will help control the amount of growth and give me the results I need for my lawn faster. A added plus is that I will save money while still getting results.

    I totally agree with you. I “fed” the soil for 4 to 5 years (as indicated) and it looked absolutely no different than when I just fed my grass. Feeding the soil might help the soil slightly, but I am kind of pissed because I spent a lot of money on that 🐍 oil. I hate to say that, but it’s true. Save your money people.

    Built my DIY Boom sprayer best thing ever for my lawn so far. Just finished spraying some N-ext green pop and humic12 grass loves it .

      @@ReelLowDad I agree and the grass responds quite well to folar apps I'll save money long term by applying liquid apps for most everything.

    Organic matter hits home- I’m over 5 percent also and have some newly seeded TTTF that is slow to grow in areas.

    I apply FAS for my liquid iron (only a little AS in the mix to drop the pH). I do this every 3 weeks with my PGR app. Would you suggest throwing in more AS to this mix to make it the .1lbs/M?

      Nope. Not for what you are doing. I am pushing growth right now to get the KBG going strong and fill in some areas. But if you need to you can

      @@ReelLowDad thanks! I just have the hand crank Scott’s spreader and will stick to .25lbs every two weeks for AS. Somehow I found your channel and in Michigan I only fight to keep Bermuda out of the lawn😁

    Hey dude just found your channel. New subscriber. Love that sprayer, usually if I do a foliar application I will let it sit on the grass blades over night then water it the next day. I understand your real early in the season like me in Minnesota we don’t have our water on yet plus more snow expect. Ridiculous. Love the video Check out my stuff if you get a chance

      No. You mistook that for 8lbs of N/M per application. It's easy to make that mistake

    What’s .2lb in ounces?

      I used 5 lbs of AMS over my 5000 square feet. So technically it was 0.21 lbs of N per 1000 sqft. That was mixed with 5 gallons of water and sprayed on.

      @@jeremyespinoza279 I have been really pleased with the response I am getting from the 0.1lb rate. A nice controlled growth. No surge growth. Currently mowing every 3-4 days and have not started PGR
