In fact he and Liberace used have a suite in his Las Vegas hotel (yes he was mega wealthy), where he and Liberace use have gay escorts come to them for pleasure. As far as he being pervy toward a female, I highly doubt it, and Merv was very private, those who knew him knew about him, but the rest of us (like myself) did not learn about Merv being gay and traveling in certain circles till after his death.
