You brought Louis to life! REALLY nice work! From his wig to his red heels, he is a fantastic figure of a man 😊 As a dog person, have to agree that the spaniels were most suitable for the job. How enjoyable this video is after a very strenuous day working in the yard. Thanks Jill!❤
King Louis looks magnificent and very contented in his room box with his beautiful Spaniels. The finishing touches to the chandelier look great too.cant wait to find out the surprise in a few days.Best wishes from Yorkshire dales England.
Oh Jill...he couldn't be more resplendent! Awesome suiting with the gold accents & shoes. Spaniels are perfectly chosen as courtiers. Your upcoming surprise finishing the room will be anticipation plus...also looking forward to the next adventure in time, the Tudor House! ps. Saw dust = progress.
Hello Jill, my you've had a busy day, King Louis looks wonderful, I really like the colour of his outfit with all the gold accents, and the dogs are beautiful, they seem to compliment him perfectly. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you add to the roombox, and to see the beginnings of your Tudor merchants house. Have a lovely week. Best Wishes from Yorkshire, England 🇬🇧 😊
Thank you Diane, The last two days have been blue skies and slightly warmer temperatures so fingers crossed. I love starting a new project. It is only half way throught when realitiy bites and I think " What did I do to myself?"
He looks magnificent! His clothes and his hair and his shapely legs, Absolutely wonderful! And the chandelier looks beautiful! Hopefully those dogs are good canine citizens 😉
Thank you so much! I am sure they don't get much training. And spaniels love the good life, not the disciipline. Ha ha. I have to say Saffi got beaten in the competition by a bunch of FARM DOGS. But they are trained very well indeed.
I am amazed at how you have transformed the simple mirrored box into an abode, complete with throne, fit for a king. Then used some wire, wool and fabric to create the iconic king himself.👏👏
What finery! Jill you did a fantastic job on King Louie, he looks positively regal. He looks very much like portraits I've seen of him. The little doggies are a nice touch. They seem to be the loyal sort. Cheers, and if you do decide to pop in tomorrow we do not care one whit if you have sawdust! We love your updates. :)
I came into the house for a coffee and Roger grabbed the hand held vacumn cleaner and cleaned me down. I wasn't allowed in until I passed muster! Tomorrow will be another dusty day alas. Then onto some happy stuff like painting.
Got a few great pieces to just enhance the chandelier a little at a great bead shop in Wellington when we went over for the day yesterday. Regards, Jill.
This is so exciting. You are adding wonderful little details! I have been wondering if hanging a floor to ceiling tapestry or drapery behind the throne--and just a little wider than it is--would block the reflection of the back of the throne but allow the depth suggested by the back mirror to continue along the sides.

Thank you. I hope you have something suitably cosy to drink after a hard day as well.

Thank you so much! A couple of dusty days then I can do something relatively clean!

Louis is suitably magnificent and the mirror surround gives him a chance to admire himself, which is one of his favourite hobbies.
Too true Maroulio!!
Simply Regal !!! It's fantastic🎉
Thanks Byron!

That's a great idea! If my front sliding mirror panel doesnt come off I will do that or put in some more window frames.
Congratulations - Louis XIV is the crowning piece in your stunning shadow book. Well done.
Thank you Michael!
He turned out great and I really love his hair!!
Thanks for the feedback Joni!
WOW.. You have been busy. Louis is very handsomely dressed. 😊
Thank you! 🤗
Lovely I’m surprise you didn’t use that lovely French blue. He does look very well done.💕
Thank you! 😊I did use that blue but under the orange light in the chandelier it probably changed colour a bit.
He looks wonderful Jill you did an amazing job on him and the room! I don’t know what more you could have as a surprise 🤗
Thank you Irene!
You are so welcome 🤗

You’re welcome 😊
love Louis and his room of mirrors. I had my computer up really loud to hear you this time as I was using the Cricut and it is noisyhaha
Roger just 'loves' it when I have the Cricut and 3D printer running in the office :)
