I find that Ernie Ball strings are easier to set up however they don’t last as long as what I like them to recently switch to string joy and I am very impressed👌👌
Standard tuning and E flat are it for me. So much great music was made in those tunings. I’m not really a Mutt Crue guy so I wouldn’t know. I like the guitar. Johnny Winter used Gibson Firebirds a lot
Least it does not have the banjo tiners like my gibson 1991 one did. i hate those. but the neck thru in the gibson hard to keep the neck set right. that gibson guitar polish is the only guitar polish ive used since the early 80s, and its great for the back of the neck. makes your hand slide like you want it to. no i didnt send it. glad someone did though you cant beat it!!

I got one of these new last year. Don’t think it had any rust on it new from Sweetwater.
Most stores around here sell Ernie's for about $6.00 a pack, so I think you're in a good price range. Great video!

Next time I'm at my local guitar shop, if they have a firebird I'm gonna look at the tuning keys, that is odd the spacing

The attraction of a firebird to me is the neckthrough design, I don't think I would like a bolt on Firebird!
half the guys i play with are lost without a capo..... the study of the cycle and 4ths and 5ths is greek to them ....
Looking at those machine tuners I would say someone put those one and didn’t do a very good job
Hagar is 75...........if he can still sing in D standard he's doing well.
