Hi Alex, Thank you for the video, due to having the ARM and needing to tidy up a very complex project we would prefer I create a new project for the new financial year so that all old epics stay with the current project that will be redundant but used for any investigations and I then only add the new epics as per new OKRs and I would then pull the new board into the new advanced road map. The reason I want to copy the project with filters and all is due to many filters that were created before my time and it's just too much admin for the deadline. Any old Epics must not pull into Advanced Road map to keep it neat and tidy. Would advise the above demo as the best solution?
Got value in this vide - Liked Tutorial itself is very good, if you want to copy a board and want to know important information related to it. I disliked that your recommendation about not to use copy but create a new one was at the end of the video. Now I need to start looking how to create a board. This should have been at the start of the video with a link to your how to create a new board tutorial, win-win Keep up the good work! Decided to subscribe also after I wrote all this.
Thanks. I've probably have made over 500 boards in my career. Every time I copy, I always forget to change some setting from the copy and then I have to go back to find the missing part. I prefer to just create a new one. Thanks for your support!
Nice video. Thank you. Am trying to create repetitive issues with existing fields on monthly basis. So it's like every 1st of month, issue should created automatically in the board for next 12 months. how can i achieve this?
There is no fun way to do this. My personal favorite is to create the 20 projects and then use 2 screens to keep the template on 1 side and then modify the copied board on a different screen.
Thanks for getting back to me, this is what I thought, it beggers belief that Atlassian don't include a feature like this, they have project templates, why not board templates?@@ApetechTechTutorials
Hi - I did everything you do on the video, but the issues are never copied. I mean, they always belong to the source board. If I change the filter, it doesn't show me any issue. :(

You deserve a medal

Hello, can we clone projects in JIRA?
I see action buttons in boards anymore? did this change with new versions of JIra?
The copy option does not appear? Do I have to pay for it to be available?
You might not be an Admin?
how can i see who copied the board? we have a duplicate

When you go to the filter directly, does it show any issues there?
Great
