I have the Note Pro 12.2 LTE, and love it. This was a great review - as always, Lisa does a marvelous job of putting everything you would ever be interested in through its paces. Thanks again for the great quality of reviews you do!
Lisa you are honestly the queen of electronic reviews on RUclips and dare I say the web in general and it's very cool to see you doing accessories. I'd love to see more of these. Another great video!
Another great review, Lisa. Thanks for covering the Note Pro so well. You have the best reviews and comparisons. Please keep them coming!
LISA WONDERFUL REVIEW! ILL BE GETTING ONE WITH THE PRO 12.2 OFF EBAY CAN'T WAIT.
Great review! I just bought the Samsung Galaxy note pro 12.2 and the Logitech keyboard. After watching your videos!
I read the title as Lenovo for some reason! Great video Lisa :)
Great review. I along with other Surface Pro users would love to see a review of the new power cover. Thank you for the reviews that you do. I have made many informed decisions because of this channel.
No I have the Surface Pro 2 128GB. Such a great device. You?
I was considering that since it would be compatible with the android system that I use anyways. His do you like it?
Nice! I may have to give it another look. Some factors that turned me away from it was the lack of office programs since I rely heavily on that for my work and it seemed a lot like my phone but.. bigger. Lol I guess I wasn't too sure what the point of a tablet was besides a bigger screen size.
Lisa, is this worth $129. Given the availability of non-Android keyboards via Bluetooth for a fifth the price? Thanks for a great review.
Amazing accessorie I like very simple and easy to use. The ease of access to some features of the note is available too. If im getting the note it's because of this keyboard.
I have an iPad Mini with a similar version of this keyboard case, and it comes with a micro-usb cable for charging it. Why doesn't this case come with such a cable?
Amazing review, all my question got answered! I'm convinced!
Wow, great... Now I have to make a choice. This case or the offical Samsung case.
Marvelous review as usual Lisa, thanks! It's an good case. I personally will not get any keyboard case for the NotePro because to me it defeats the purpose of having a tablet. The whole idea of having a tablet is to NOT be logging around a keyboard that will require horizontal room to use. Like I said nice keyboard but not for me. Love the tablet though and will definitely be getting a white 64G one!
Thanks, This address all my questions and more, very informative and to the point, on my way to get one
We want a full review about the surface power cover please ?
just got my pro keyboard at best buy $99 dollars. They best keyboard for this tablet ! nice review
Looks legit for sure. Although what if you just want to use the tab in the cover keyboard free... Can the keyboard be folded behind, without damaging it?
Great review! Makes me want one -- the tablet and keyboard... Maybe one day in the future. :D
Hey I have an idea. Why don't all tablets just come with keyboards attached and they can just call them - ahh, laptops!!
It appears laptops have been deconstructed into tablets; now they're reconstructing them. I find it odd.
But Lisa great review as always :)
Because if you want you can use it as a tablet or a laptop... try to use a laptop as a tableT....
Kyung Ho Bruletti Well I guess if you don't have a laptop but you have a tablet, then a keyboard is the way to go.
I have a laptop on my desk, but I travel several times a month and I don't always want to take my laptop...what is wrong with adding an accessory to the Note Pro and getting near laptop performance...yet being much more convenient to travel with?
Cute comment, but the reality is that being able to add this simple accessory opens up a lot of additional performance and convenience from the Note Pro and it makes perfect sense.
To be able to add a keyboard is different than to be sold with an attached one....
Thanks, great review! I just bought this tablet, so I am looking at cases / keyboards now. I will look at the Zagg review, but the last one I bought for my Note 8.0 was a disappointment. I really like Logitech, and I think this sold me on it.
Good review. I have it and overall its great. Its one issue is using capital "I" and you havent fully let go of the shift key and hit space bar it glitches. But I am still happy with it.
just got the keyboard through the mail today, turns out the charging jack fits with the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 charging cord and the Logitech Performance Mouse MX charging cord which are much longer than the one provided. Hope this helps if your looking for a better way to charge it.
"Use it to bash a burglar" LoL. Thank you for the review. This tablet just became more sexy to buy. 😁
I'm curious to know if the magnetic claps affect the s-pen's writing ability near the edges where the magnets are placed?
I really like this keyboard. I have a note pro 12.2. I am going to buy this keyboard for sure. It will be very useful for me and sounds worth the price.
was the keyboard worth buying?
hi, I have recently purchased a note pro and the pro keyboard but since upgrading to lollipop everything sucks!! but the main problem is the keyboard doesn't work with it. I was wondering if you knew anything about a fix for the problem? when I was running kitkat everything was perfect! I purchased this based on your review and it was great until lollipop...
Very Nice & easy to handle. Also protect the Note Pro
i also prefer to buy this
Lisa how do you feel about this today , thinking about getting one
The reviews lacks a bit of information :
Is the keyboard back-lit ? According to the comments : No. Ouch.
Does it work on your lap ?
How stable is the bluetooth connection ?
No backlighting and if there was a problem with Bluetooth I would have mentioned it. Like most keyboard cases, it works fine in your lap. So far, keyboard cases don't have backlighting, but like the rest of you, I certainly wish they did.
For all those people saying it costs as much as a nice windows laptop. This combo is for those people who already have a nice windows laptop and want this for taking handwritten notes in class or meetings and sometimes comfortably typing instead of carrying both devices...
I have a huge 17.3 inch laptop and i got tired of carrying it around. Thats why i bought this and i saw they go for about $500 now.
The surface pro 1 is now 500 bucks, which is way better than this.
heikiu96z just sold my surface pro to get this. This has double the battery life, runs cooler, has no fan ports to block, higher resolution, bigger screen etc. I use it/them for sketching, and android does have some great apps out, especially clover paint. Really depends on what you want and need from it. Neither is actually better than the other, they each have their strengths and weaknesses.
jon knatcal
true.
I wish they made one for the iPad Air....By the way GREAT REVIEW
They do I have one for my Ipad Air and I have the this one as well for my Samsung Note Pro
Lisa, I have a question. The Logitech Pro keyboard looks amazing, but it looks really thick. I'm going for slimness and portability. If I get the original Samsung keyboard and the case with the Samsung case with the flip cover and I get rid of the cover, will the tablet still fit facing down on the keyboard even with the case on? Thanks in advance.
I have it and it is perfect for portability!!
Great review... Logitech needs to have backlit and more rubber to the device :)
Hey Lisa. Can you do a review on my very own brand of Keyboard. I know that you do reviews on name brand stuff. But I have a great tablet as well. Would you consider it?
Hi there. Could you tell me how to charge it? There is no instruction about that. I know it comes with a small USB cable but this doesn't necessarily mean it can be charged from any computer USB. Thank you
I have also been wondering why tablets like Samsungs don't have more than one miro sd slot it would be useful to have two than one and it would be possible to have one for apps and the other for photos and videos and music or documents or other uses and a refresh button not reset button just being able to fix the issue of frozen apps or speeding things up with wait for a reboot or factory resetting
I just bought a regular bt keyboard (apple) which does the job just as well and I just leave it in the bag or at home if I don't need it... These logitech keyboards are nice but also a bit overpriced IMHO. Having a heavy keyboard attached all the time kinda defeats the purpose of a tablet. Just my opinion.
can apple keyboard synce with any tablet? im buyin a tablet but im really stuck between all the OS..because i need one with good keyboard travel..
jacobmufasa
I had no issues connecting the apple bluetooth keyboard to my samsung tablets. All buttons seem to be working. There are specific samsung keyboards though made for samsung tablets.
Lisa, any idea if Logitech will be making one of these for the Note 10.1 2014? I got one back in December and it severely lacks good quality accessories. Then the Pris come and every manufacturer is making stuff for them and ignoring the Note 10.1 2014 :(
But it's not backlit. No more non-backlit keyboards for me. Logitech 810 (lighted keys) works great with my Note 12.2 when I need a regular keyboard. For the most part, the virtual keyboard on the 12.2 is great and don't often need external unit.
Thanks, good solid review.
It become thicker than a macbook air 13 after it folded together. I stick with a laptop if anything that is bigger than a 12 inches.
I'm not sure what the niche of this keyboard. THis is nice and all but the pro + this keyboard is about the same price as a macbook air or a Sony Flip 14a. The Flip is bulkier but much more powerful and the macbook air is actually less bulky to carry around than this case. I got a note pro recently and love it, but mainy because it is so light and thin I can work anywhere whereas a flip 14 would be too heavy in some cases. I'd rather just get a normal small bluetooth keyboard for the occassions when I want to type.
Thanks Lisa your amazing. Some day i'll get one tgeir to pricy right now.
how to charge this keyboard? why my keyboard cant on if not in charge time?
Can it be used as a stand in vertical position?
Lisa, you remember me a lot my first music teacher with that hair...
I have an Acer Iconia A700, please suggest me a similar keyboard. Really appreciate it.
MobileTechReview I hate to say this, but your videos recently have had increasingly static-ey sound, to the point where it's not very comfortable to listen to the reviews.
To me this is a tragedy, because this is pretty much my favourite tech channel. If there's anything that can be done, I'd love to see it -- or more specifically to hear it!
that KB needs to be on to charge or not?
Back to the future :-S
Is the model # 920-006319?
If anyone got this keyboard.
If I change the chosen language on my NotePro to swedish/norwegian/danish, will the {[ and :; and "' change to, ä, ö?
It's nice, but the combo of this keyboard plus the tablet costs more than a much faster, much more capable windows laptop. So I can't really see the point.
I was saying he same why buy this combo instead of a fully capable windows convertible laptop?
I actually bought this tablet and keyboard since I use Android a lot lately and I hate new Thinkpads. They suck.
The point is it's convertible to be used as a tablet or laptop. Most laptops don't have touch screens and if they do then they cost a lot more. Also, laptops battery usually don't last as long either. This is more of a mobile device for easy transport. The keyboard is optional if you want to use it as a laptop at home. If you want both worlds then the Microsoft tablet is the best option but cost an arm and a leg. Also, this keyboard is ridiculously overpriced. You can get a decent bluetooth keyboard and cover for about $30 on Amazon.
***** Actually, this combo costs just as much as the surface you mentioned.
Faethe The surface pro 3 core i7 or i5 begins at $1000 which is what you'll want in a laptop. Forget the core i3, if you want to play games. With a keyboard, it costs over $1129.99. You can get the older model for a lot cheaper I suppose, but I think the older model has a lower res screen. Anyways, if you want to play hardcore games then get a desktop and get the Samsung 12.2 for internet, movies, email, and everything else. For my needs, I have a powerful gaming desktop for everything, a powerful 17.3 laptop for work, and the Samsung 12.2 for basically mobile entertainment and internet. I have a cheap disposable mobile phone that's used strictly for phone calls.
I like it!
Thank you gorgeous.
Can we easily do the accents on the « e » with this keyboard? ... é, è, ê
This setup looks much thicker than an average ultrabook...
For the price it should be backlit... I'll just get the K810
pena que não entrega para o brazil.
If you're going to purchase this and the keyboard, why not just buy a mid range ultrabook for the same price?
Exactly what I was thinking :) just about any BT keyboard is compatible with android. So for the cases where you really need one you could always have a generic bt keyboard with you.
Lisa does such a good job of reviewing ...Can we have her as prime minister of UK?
Am I the only one who actually wants to use a tablet with keyboard in portrait orientation? These cases never have that possibility.
Because the keyboard would be much smaller if they designed it for portrait use.
MobileTechReview I mean the keyboard would be the same size but it would also act as a stand for the tablet, so I could flip the tablet to portrait orientation when the cover is open.
jounihat There are rotating cases available on ebay for like $30. You can buy a separate keyboard if that's what you really wanted. Also, there is the Logitech Tablet Keyboard. The case you carry the keyboard in doubles as a stand, and you can choose whether you want to place the tablet in landscape or portrait mode, since it's just a stand. www.logitech.com/en-us/product/tablet-keyboard-android-win8-rt
I don't think anyone likes using tablets in portrait mode while typing, since landscape provides much more room and makes it easier and more natural to type.
Karla Gonzalez What do you mean by "landscape provides much more room"? It provides exactly the same amount of room, except that text is easier to read in portrait mode (that's why books are in portrait mode).
jounihat On this tablet, you can have four screens open in multi-window mode more comfortably than in portrait mode. And it is more room, the keyboard is a lot bigger in landscape mode than it is in portrait mode. But I guess it's just personal preference.
Just bought this item on amazon for £29:99 27th November 2015
all that real estate but no mouse track pad
Well you don't really need a mouse pad side it's touch screen but you can buy a Bluetooth mouse and that works good too
I know I sound like a broken record but, why not just get a full powered laptop? I mean you're like a pound or so away from a real laptop. A full powered Haswell laptop, with a real OS, powerful programs, ports everywhere, I mean you're right at the cusp. And it would probably costs less!
No wonder every company has a tablet. They charge the consumer about the same as a laptop but they don't have to include; the keyboard, DVD, HDMI port, USB's, hard drive, etc, etc... They are making a killing.
Oh i forgot to mention that the clips that hold the tablet in place ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH. You tablet will slip out and...say bye bye to your $700 investment.
logitech is the best!!! i like it too~~~i'll buy ~~^^
cant get to have it detected ...just a shit.
such a weird form factor
might as well just buy a laptop
I bought the 12.2 that day it came out... this keyboard was the only one on the market out at the time that looked ok. IT"S NOT the trough is NOT deep enough and the tablet slips out and the leather feel (grip) started to peel off in one week. IT IS TERRIBLE. I emailed Logitech and they completely ignored me. Bad product, WORSE customer service...DO NOT BUY.... buy Samsung's or ZAGG's at least the have better cusotmer service
Better to buy a real laptop with real power and more possibilities...

I have an Acer Iconia A700, please suggest me a similar keyboard. Really appreciate it.
