Thanks for the video! Only note is to get the horn working, I had to cut the horn contact plate a bit, and bend it so it actually made contact with the adapters grounding ring. May have been what happened with yours. It doesn’t line up exactly and doesn’t make good contact, hence no grounding so no horn. I made it slightly skinner and bent it slightly outwards. I also had to change the hump location to more of the 9 o clock position relative to the adapter, then it was able to make contact with the ring, and get horn sounds
Do your indicators click off after you turn your wheel back to straight ? Definitely a nice update to the interior of the car, but keep the old one for the purity box!
Will your own steering wheel off the 9:44 fit a 9/11 with no adapters or anything do you still have when you like to sell what's your price on the Carlisle right now and where are you located
Do the steering wheel bolts come with loctite on them? If not, may want to throw some blue loctite on them. Looks great!! Need to get rid of my factory steering wheel..
I love this steering wheel! It is such an upgrade compared to the stock one. No loctite on it, but I doubt that I'll have a big issue with the bolts backing out, but we shall see I guess.
@@TheMileHighMechanic thanks ,I realised after I made the comment. I was just so excited it looked so good I ran ahead. Much appreciate the time you take to share.
@@jamiewalker4061 Make sure that your contact on the back of the hub is bent out enough to actually contact the hub...the contacts are on the turn signal stock.
i just bought a 924 as my first car and this will definitely be one of my first mods
Nice!! Love to see it👍

Very informative video, thank you! What brand / where did you get the decals for the side of your car?
@@WillyFreshy I got them from somewhere in the UK this is the link I believe: vinylsportclassic.com/products/porsche-944-possitive-side-stripes-decal

Yep, everything works perfectly! My spare parts bin is currently overflowing 😂
Don’t even have a driving licence yet and I’m still interested in this video 😂. Very informative though and a very nice wheel.
That's awesome! Glad you enjoyed

Are you asking if the old wheel that I pulled of will fit a 911?

Hi, what is the the 4 digit code on the wheel hub?

Does the wheel need to be straight
You can have it misaligned, but personally that would mess with my head.
