My personal opinion is this song,Beatles forever is ok,NOT a usual Jeff lynne song.My thoughts regarding Jeff not ever wanting to release it,well,Jeff is a perfectionist,and he cares about his music,and if he doesn’t want to release it,then that’s surely his decision alone.On another note,maybe when he befriended the Beatles,he may have felt it a little weird,and it may have become a bit of a joke around them all,as the song sounds like it’s a dreamy fan,and I think perhaps,Jeff didn’t want that image,he is a perfectionist,look what he done for the Beatles..enough said my old friends 😊😎
