    A “near disaster”! These newspeople are something else. A near disaster would be something like an aborted high speed takeoff because of another plane on runway. This was more of an expensive fender bender that will be checked out by the mechanics

    OMG the way this was reported it sounded like a mid air disaster almost happened...The aircraft taxiing was going so slow and it was a tiny bump .. barely!! I thought something really traumatic happened...it was more like a bruise to a pilots ego taking place!!!🫣 Glad (No one was hurt)!!! Whoopsey daisy!!!!😂😁

      I feel like people just like to complain and the media pushes this entitled victim hood agenda with some of their reporting. Rather than being grateful it a minor incident without people losing their lives they rather pretend and exaggerate as they were near death.

    • @Mike_Jones281
      @Mike_Jones281 Год назад +5

      It could have been a disaster. If the pilots had not noticed the slight bump and taken off anyway, this could have caused the failure of both airplanes. Anytime something like this happens, mechanics inspect planes for structural damage--or they should be checking the aircraft for structural damage. Therefore, it is not so unfathomable to imagine how such a small nug could snowball into a full-fledged tragedy. Something to think about the next time you scoff at the newscasters reporting this incident or the next time you are on a plane.

    This wingtip collision is just one of many reasons I don't trust United nor Delta Airlines. Clearly, not only do both those airlines fly planes that are over half a century old and are prone to constant mechanical problems resulting in constant delays, but they seem to have a lot of inexperienced pilots or pilots working entirely too many hours a week, resulting in drowsy pilots and "wing-bender" collisions. No wonder planes flown by United and Delta (and also American) are constantly getting ailerons, stabilizers, engines, doors, and what not disassembled and worked on while on the tarmac! "Wing-bender" collisions like the one videotaped here can and do cause damage to planes.
