Bra making always seemed like such a mystery. I am drawn to sewing difficult process and figuring out how to sew and fit them. This is a great demo on how easy it is to make a great fitting swim top. Thanks for your efforts in opening up the world of bra making and giving women a very detailed and helpful way to make their own. This is a great way to show how worthwhile it is to figure out how to fit and sew bra for oneself. You are very inspiring and motivating.
Hey, it looks really nice! I headed on out to Emerald Erin's site to check out the Black Beauty pattern. It looks like she's not shipping internationally at the moment; would you be able to tell me if I could use a different wire than the Orange wire she indicates for this bra..? Like the flexi wires from Bra Builders for example? As a beginner, I'm not too familiar with the differences in wires and how rigid they are. I've heard some people complain about some wires being far too rigid and uncomfortable.
You should be using a wire that fits your body best and altering the pattern to fit the wire. A rigid wire won’t be uncomfortable if it fits properly and it’s the best way to get support in styles like this that aren’t full coverage. ruclips.net/video/32VZe1tDkFw/видео.html
I really enjoy all your tutorials. I have a question. Using bra lining on the frame vs swimwear lining and I very curious to the binding on the underarm edge..is there a reason vs the regular swimsuit method of folding over the seam allowance and top stitching zigzag/cover stitch?
Unbelievably helpful!! Thank you so much!!
