They also had a good full back for spurs and an okay goal keeper. Son is a good player, the only class player. But they're weak. They're getting outpowered by stronger opponents. Algeria should NOT have score 4-2. It was atrocious defending and keeping. It was so clear that the four defenders they had were weak and technically poor.
pfl95 i don't think it has something to do with weakness. they just suck at football generally. they only have like 2-3 good footballers in europe (Son, Ki and Koo) and the rest play in korean or japanese leagues. btw korea had the tallest average height in the WC 2014...and you said algeria should not have won 4-2?? probably all the footballers from the algerian national team play in europe and some in top teams like valencia, porto, napoli or tottenham. still football wasn't very popular until wc2002 in korea (and japan) so you have to give them more time...
