    Here you have Lee Seung Woo's highlights from his spectacular tournament in the 2014 AFC U16 Asian Championship! What a tournament the Barcelona wonderkid had, really. 5 goals and 4 assists in just 5 games. And even though all his four assists came in the semi final against Syria, he showed in every match that he was able to create big opportunities for his teammates. He's a great playmaker as well as a goal scorer in that false '9' role as you'd see at Barça.
    Unfortunately, I missed out on recording the final, but he wasn't very spectacular in the final except for 2-3 good runs and shots he had in the beginning of the match. Sorry I couldn't include them! Otherwise, I also missed out on recording small parts of the other games as well. Hope he didn't do spectacular stuff in those parts, then :)
    Lee Seung Woo is one of the 10 banned Barcelona kids by FIFA. That means he is not allowed to play an official match for FC Barcelona until he turns 18 in January 2016, which is a huge shame, because he has the potential to be one of the best one day for sure. Hope everything goes well for him. He only needs to work a bit on his arrogance when scoring goals and such while also improve on his defending, as he admitted himself in an interview after the final.
    Hope you enjoyed the video. If you did, please leave a like and be sure to subscribe for more videos of Barcelona talents in the future - I have planned plenty of them! Music used for the video is in the description.

      Joseph Loveskimchi Haha Joseph you got my perception of S.Korea spot on. The players need to grow some balls and start shooting it like Ki-Seung did in 2014. Our defense was okay but there's always room for improvement. Hopefully Lee Seung fills this gap that we have..

      Joseph Loveskimchi My prediction for AFC 15 is the quarter finals coming in 2nd place, imo we need to use Son as a wing than a MF, Korea needs to clean house and put in the younger talent and get them going, for crying out loud, its just asian cup, its not the world cup so experience will not do for this

    4 assists in the semi final victory over Syria. He is definitely following Messi's foot steps. Btw. that must've been a record number of assist by a single player in a match in this tournament, or ever.

      Barça 24-7 If that is truly what happened, I am convinced Madref is behind the whole transfer ban operation. What a bunch of losers, they can't be better than us football wise now they have to rely on all kinds of shit to cause us havoc. There is no need for that, we already know they are the greatest mafia led club so no need to make that even more obvious

    He's amazingly good and so fast with the ball! But I like Martin Odegaard's playing style more, he's more elegant and smooth while playing. But Lee Seung Woo is still amazing for his age!! Does he still play for the Barcelona Youth Academy in Spain?

    • @NavidMolaaghaei
      @NavidMolaaghaei  10 лет назад +3

      Well, there's a difference. Lee is a striker. A goalscorer. Ødegaard is a playmaker. Not a striker. Ødegaard is not even near Lee in goalscoring, while Lee is no way near Ødegaard in playmaking. Different players and to huuuuuuuge talents of the 1998-generation. Probably a part of the 3 best with Hachim Mastour also.
      Yes, he plays for La Masia, and he will continue to do so even though he's banned for playing official matches.

      The new madrid kid is nowhere close to the potential of this Korean dude. This guy can dribble, has great vision, and is super fast. Reminds of Ronaldo at Man Utd(except Ronaldo is stronger but lacks the vision and creativity of players like this guy or Messi). As long as he continues to develop at this pace I am confident he will be competing for the best player in a few years

      What are you trying to say? Honestly, South Korea has not had any significantly good players on the world stage since 2002. Son Heung Min is a very good player but he's not amazing by himself. Park Chu Young had so much potential but fell off the face of the earth. That's about it. Lee Seung Woo seems like he can be the next superstar. (If it's easier just answer in Korean because you sound like maybe you speak Korean).

    • @lmaka1
      @lmaka1 9 лет назад

      Park Ji-Sung was a midfielder at Manchester United when they were one of the top clubs in the world during the aughts. Park was not an elite, game-changing player like Messi, but an average starter on a UEFA Championship winning team is still a world-class player by any standards, especially when he is at a high-skill position like midfielder. The issue with Korea's National Soccer team is not that they don't have any elite talent; it's that the overall talent level is low. There is a steep drop-off once you get past the top 5-6 players. No country can field a good national team with five Premier League or Bundesliga caliber footballers and 20 scrubs. That's an exaggeration, but the point is clear.

    • @pxit212
      @pxit212 9 лет назад

      RaisingAbel
      Oh that's very true. I forgot that Captain Park played in 2006 and 2010. I stand corrected on that. You're right about that. For some reason I was under the impression he played in 2002 because that was such an amazing year for South Korean football (soccer). I agree with you about the overall talent level as well. If you look at English football youth leagues there are 2 million children enrolled in the UK. In South Korea it's less than 100,000. This demonstrates that while there are people who would probably be naturally gifted footballers in South Korea, they probably aren't encouraged to play sports as much as they are encouraged to study hard and become a professional.
