Absolutely. If you're not a legal resident and haven't been given permission you're putting your life in danger entering someone else's home. This dad DESERVED to have the stuffing beaten out of him and I'm very angry that it dudny happen.
Literally something super similar happened to my husband earlier today. Our roommates are moving out currently & are still getting things. We have a general rule of messaging before someone comes over so we can expect them. Well they didn't alert him, came in because they still have keys, & scared him so bad he nearly grabbed his gun. Yeah he wasn't happy.
Story 2: "Am I a threat to you?" YES! Clearly, this man has never heard of DV or child abuse before. Just because someone is family, does not mean they cannot be a threat to your health and wellbeing.
Even if he wasn't dangerous, he was still committing a crime. Doesn't matter if you enter with a pry bar, a lockpick, a key you found under the doormat, or one you were given for safekeeping. If you enter a home you don't own or rent without the express consent of the resident, it's breaking and entering. He committed a felony. Besides, entering unannounced, he almost got clobbered with a baseball bat, so he was also a danger to himself.
The last story made me angry. OP needs to move out right now and dump that disrespectful, boundary-crossing, car-stealing man child. What he did and how he reacted, first refusing her calls and then getting angry at her, are HUGE red flags.
Story 5: Whether someone is your SO or not, taking things without permission is THEFT. And if OP is using the car to get to work in order to afford said car AND keep a roof over their head, then absolutely the fiancé needs to go. She needs to dump him immediately and press charges for his thieving ways.
OP needs to move back to her old neighborhood, sell the car, take public transportation, and let her thief of a fiance drive, bus, or UBER to her place.
Hell yeah I would have called the cops on my SO if he took the car without permission. Especially if I were in the medical field where lives depend on me being at work. OP needs to leave this man child.
Just ask him: What happens if you go out partying and suddenly I'm needed because someone is dying and needs my help? So basically SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE DIED...because I can't be there... BECAUSE YOU TOOK MY CAR!!!! So what if it's one of your other friends, relatives, siblings, or parents had died because I couldn't come to them? What now, huh? So do you understand me now how serious it is for me to have my car? Do you?
@@kranberry3318 : True, but as far as OP knows, FiL did not have permission to make a duplicate. Having a key doesn't make it consensual. Eg, a landlord does not have consent to enter a renter's home even if he has a key.
Last story is 100% break-up/divorce material. NO MEANS NO, and not only did he disrespect OP's boundaries, he also endangered her job. Anyone who knowingly and willingly threatens their partner's livelihood should be dumped like the piece of garbage they are.
Ikr??? Its not like he took it in an emergency or something he went to a bar ffs. Plus she offered to fix his car! There is 100% no reason for this situation to have happened
She also used the thing black people love to use the most today you're only doing this because you're racist but in reality she's just a low-life scum and race has nothing to do with it just like every other police incident 99.9 per cent of police incidents don't have anything to do with race and all police incidents that people cry racism to never have anything to do with race it doesn't matter the people though because there was these black lives matter these pieces of s*** they are pieces of s*** I don't care what anyone says they are terrorists these pieces of trash go to a black police officers house this guy was forced to defend himself multiple times him and his family were black can children in the house and these people yelled blacklivesmatter as they shot a shotgun through his back door in other words blacklivesmatter could have killed innocent children and actually have because during this incident that was chop Chaz whatever the hell this autonomous Zone was called they executed a innocent black person and nearly if not did Kill the teenager in the car
While it's not his fault what she did, the driver should have immediately locked that hatchback door the moment it was closed, knowing someone was scoping that food.
@@AwkwrdPrtMskrt - Naturally. As I said, the incident wasn't his fault. As the saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. The Karen shouldn't have done anything she did, but locking the door would have made it harder for her to try.
@SonsofLorgor I'm in the UK where we have much tighter gun laws, but I have a seax, short sword, axes, and several knives bought from a forge that does historical style weapons and tools. Any thief would soon be introduced to Mr Pointy.
Regarding story #3: The day my dad was a HERO. This was at least fifty years ago and our family was in Washington D.C. on vacation. We were in line to view the Declaration of Independence when a tour group came in and their guide ushered them to the front of the line. My dad has never been confrontational, but this really made him angry and he said something to them. They said they were on a tight schedule and had a right to go first. My dad loudly and immediately called to a security guard and complained. The tour was moved to the end of the line.
I was at one of those cash advance places, waiting to pay back a small 'loan' I had gotten the month before when the refrigerator took a dump! The place was crowded! Some woman walks in, sees all the people and loudly exclains, "Oh, hell NO! I am NOT waiting for all that!" She begins making her way to the counter and one of the clerks, trying to avoid a hassle, beckoned her to come forward to her window. I stood up and said, also loudly, "If you take her before all of us, that clears all of us from owing you people any money!" In some states, if a lender refuses your payment, you can call out the loan completely. Though the clerk wasn't technically refusing the rest of us to pay, she wasn't accepting our money, either, as long as she allowed this woman to come up out of line, by my figuring. Wrong, or not, the clerk had second thoughts, the woman who was trying to butt got angry and left and business continued as it had been. LOL
I had a relative pull the same stunt with my car. Just took it while I was visiting with the rest of our family. I called but they wouldn’t answer so I called the cops. They got arrested for grand theft auto and I pressed charges. Turns out that they didn’t have a drivers license and was wanted for another felony. They were a distant cousin so I really didn’t know them all that much to begin with. He asked and I said heck no. Why in the heck would I let a person I don’t know just take my new Jeep for a drive. Of course some relatives were pissed but the rest said he got what was coming to him.
Story 4, I've been a delivery driver for 8 years and when someone jokingly asks me that question I answer with a serious, NO. You'd be surprised how many people try to steal pizza.
I’d believe it. People can be giant cheapskates for the littlest things, and a free meal is too tantalizing of a thing to pass up, no matter how legal getting it is
Happened to me a few times when I delivered for Domino's. If anything, that profession got more dangerous in my homeland because of the sky high cost of living.
As for the last story, not only did he steal her car, he jeopardized her job just so that he could party with his buddies, surely one of his buddies had a car they could go in. After that stunt, I’d exit that relationship so fast he would get road rash, he’s definitely taking advantage of her.
Last story: if the asshat fiance can afford to go out and party, why the hell doesn't he use some of that money to buy a used motorbike or moped? Instead of stealing a car your partner needs a hell of a lot more, as lives potentially depend on her being at work
For the bathroom stall one: Karen didn't even use the toilet. The only thing I can think of was that the stall was a drop point for something. I guess she could just be unhinged though.
Story 4: That Karen really think that it's OK to steal the pizza but when OP is trying to his job right Karen decided to go psycho all because she want free food. Amazing the daughter has the sense to try to stop her mother and I'm hoping she never sees her mother again after that stunt.
It blows my mind how Karens escalate the situation to the point they get arrested and yet STILL dig their grave deeper by screaming they were wrongly arrested and insults🤦. People like that shouldn't have kids at all as their not fit to be parents.
Story 1. If that was me, I would've said "Lady, I don't care if you've got explosive diarrhea! I ain't leaving this stall! You wanna use the bathroom? Then take your pick of the other empty stalls cause this one ain't in service!" Story 4. You know, all that time and effort Karen wasted trying to steal the pizza OP was going to deliver could've been better spent just standing in line and ordering a pizza.
Yeah but then she’d have to pay for it. Why do that when there’s perfectly good pizza she can steal with the added benefit of teaching her daughter a valuable lesson on how to get free food! /s
Last story: 1. Only MATURE ADULTS should get married. 2. Either A. Put all of your stuff in storage (if you're not on the lease) or B. Put all his stuff on the porch/in the hallway and have strong locks professionally installed RIGHT NOW. (If you are the only one on the lease.) 3.Mail the ring to his parents. 4. Block his number. Good luck, OP. That you even feel the need to ask if you are the A-hole means these suggestions are long overdue.
@kranberry3318 Contact the leasing office. Either get herself removed or him. That way, if she leaves, the landlord knows the dummy is responsible for the place. If she wants him out, the landlord can update the lease. Now if dummy comes back, a restraining order/trespassing can be applied.
I disagree with Fluff about what boyfriend should say to his parents. Instead of saying his girlfriend wants to get the key back, he should say WE want the key back. Don't leave room for the parents to blame OP.
He should say "I want my key back". Leave no question that this is not about the girlfriends sensitivities. WE means, my girlfriend wants it and I caved.
"Keep the key. I'm changing the locks because I don't trust either of you any further than I can throw you. If you come banging on my door again, I'll call the cops."
Story 4: yeah, OP puting hands on the Karen was the right course of action. It escalated from words to the lightest form of defense when she didn't stop her theft of property. Also, a slap in the face when she attacked would also be deemed "reasonable defense"
Even if the cops were starting to believe your side of the story as soon as you try to take a swing at the cop then they're not going to believe anything you say... period.
Story with the car: Should be EX fiance. That's a total violation of boundaries. "Yeah, just skip work so I can hang out with my buddies!" Yeah, how about no.
As Lily Allen once said “Don’t take me on, and you must be joking! If you’ll still be poking me!” She needs to leave him and press charges on him for theft and driving under intoxication of alcohol.
Yeah.... What if someone dies because I couldn't come? What if it's one of your other friends relatives siblings or parents and I couldn't help them because I wasn't there?... WHILE YOU WENT OUT PARTYING AND YOU TOOK MY CAR!!! AND YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS COULD HAVE GONE INTO A SERIOUS ACCIDENT BECAUSE YOU... ARE... DRIVING... DRUNK!!! You could have totalled my car and all of you... DEAD!
In the last story, OP definitely has more patience than me. He'd no longer be my fiancé. I probably would've called the cops the moment I noticed the car gone. He & his friends completely brought all of that on themselves. She called several times, even warned him of her intentions to call police & he still didn't bring it back. Which goes to show he has no respect for her & doesn't care abt her at all. Obviously his friends are just as bad as he is. Also red flags everywhere if in a group of 30 somethings none of them have a car or can afford Uber
Story 1 my immediate response to that kind of bathroom rudeness is this: A very loud arm fart followed by "sorry I'm in for the long haul" Usually followed by more arm farts, the louder the better. Story 2 op did get the key back from the fil but I'd be changing the locks just in case
I was at a UPS shipping counter once when it was very crowded. The line wrapped around the waiting area, following a line of counters leading to the agents. A guy walks in, sees that one of the customers in the middle of the line is filling out paperwork, and loudly states that she’s not actually in line if the paperwork isn’t filled out, and he was going to take her place. Everyone stared at him as he stood next to her and shuffled forward with the line. When he reached the agent she told him that he wasn’t next, and to go to his actual place in the line (now a few stops from the end). The SOB started yelling that he knew his rights, and he was next. He was escorted to the door. Gotta love delusional narcissists.
Mall bathroom story: Just for s***s and giggles, I'd have looked up the number for mall security and (loudly) given them a call stating where I was and that some psycho was trying to force her way into the stall I was using, despite there being empty ones available, please help. Then let HER explain it all. Shop vs security story: OP, I hope you and your bf changed the locks as well because I have few doubts ED made extra copies. Get those cameras and security system. And I would suggest a medium gauge shotgun. Chik-Fil-A story: Sometimes a public shaming is the only way a Karen is capable of learning. Pizza story: It doesn't matter that the company that ordered the food "ordered too many". They are the ones that paid for the food and Karen was still attempting to steal. The fact that she was willing to break into your vehicle to do so, assault you and assault the officers just says how deranged she was. I feel sorry for the daughter. Stolen car story: NTA! OP, he took your car AFTER you denied him permission to do so. That is by definition theft. But it's also clear he doesn't respect you or your job. Move out and get a new bf. This kind of bs will only get worse.
Last story, "how could you do this to me?" HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO HER?!?!?! She could've lost her job because of this man baby, if your partner can't understand that no means no, do not stay with them. It's only downhill from there, baby.
Story 1: Dude who the hell even owns a stall in the mall? Sheesh when I was in one, I mostly went in one that was the most clean. Thankfully no one bothered me. But sheesh the nerve of these creatures.
Story 4: Taking a free pizza from a delivery man is not only stealing from the business, but stealing from the customer as well. They WILL notice Karen needs the jail time
Story 1: “You want this stall so bad, fine!” Grab the Karen and give her a swirly. Your word against hers that she didn’t trip as you were exiting the stall that she *demanded* you vacate.
As the storyteller stated, the BF's father should consider himself lucky. If they had had a gun, he'd have been severely wounded or dead acting the way he did.
If my dad came to my house and let himself in with the spare key I forced on him, I'd wonder when the world came to an end. He does come unannounced if he's in my county for any reason, but he NEVER lets himself in. If my mom came to my house... I'd move
Last story. As a fellow nurse. He has no respect to his supposed to be a ‘significant’ other or theirs work at all. Broke up with him would be an under-react, op should also press charges and never ever contact him again without theirs lawyer. His stupidity could unironically cause harms to others people.
I seem to remember hearing somewhere before (possibly in another one of DarkFluff's vids) that people lingering outside of pizza shops trying to mooch a slice/pizza from people is fairly common in some places, but boy howdy did she go off the deep end.
Story 1: Bathroom Stall Barbara Story 2: The boyfriend definitely needs to take back the spare key Story 3: Cut-in-line Courtney Story 4: Pizza Stealing Piper Story 5: No, honey, you're not the a$$hole, he went behind your back and took your car even after you gave him a "No" Even if you love the person, it's still stealing
@@kranberry3318 Even after I got the key back I would still change the locks if I were in that story. There is no guarantee that Father Dearest didn't get a(nother) copy made in the past, and while I am not yet ready to lay such skullduggery at his feet I am not willing to dismiss the possibility out of hand.
@@alflyover4413 I agree they should change the locks just in case and I bet it would make OP feel safer I’m just saying the boyfriend doesn’t “definitely need to take back the spare key.”
Story 1: pretend to call the police. Say “this woman is insistent that I leave this bathroom stall asap. She sounds deranged and not all there, I think she has a hidden stash of drugs in here. Sure, I’ll wait for a cop car, she’s now escalated her harassment.”
"I've had my home broken into." "Not by me." Wrong! Just because you have a key, that doesn't mean it's not breaking and entering. Letting yourself in uninvited with an emergency backup key is still breaking in, just as sure as if you did it with a stolen key. What he did wasn't just a violation of trust and boundaries, it was a full-on felony.
Anyone can be a threat especially when they have been a victim in the past doesn’t matter if your family or not anyone at any time could be a threat. If anyone takes my car without permission friend or family I would call the police right away
The gal with the fiancé that took her car. Him saying that she put him in that situation? No, sir, he put himself in that situation. Total gaslighter. She needs to kick him to the curb.
story 2: OP: i've had my home broken into before entitled dad: not by me! yes by you, you literally just did it, she should have called the cops and had this criminal arrested.
I hope the pizza thiefs kid has someone sane to raise her and that she doesn't have to deal with that nutcase again. How embarrassing to have to be around that.
Story 2: Now that he's been identified as a threat, *call the cops* next time. He can get in trouble with them because they won't care that he's the father of the boyfriend. Let him get a reputation with them. Story 4: I love pizza but not enough to try and steal one from a deliver driver and then start spouting false claims of racism to the point of attacking cops because I'm not getting a free pizza. Ma'am, it's bread, tomato paste, cheese and possible toppings, it's not worth going to jail over. But some people really don't like the idea that "nothing is free." You want free food, go to the soup kitchen.
With that first story, I genuinely wouldn't feel safe exiting the stall, because this is clearly an aggressive, impatient and spiteful person who could potentially attack me for taking too long. Even if she doesnt attack me on the spot, Id be terrified of her memorizing my face to harass me later. This, ironically, would make me take longer in the stall, as I would probably spend several minutes even once I am done texting my family for advice in a panic or googling the number for mall security.
Pizza Story: And the really sad part is that very likely wasn't the first time the poor Daughter has seen her Mom go crazy against someone... Hopefully, the Grandmother gets Custody of the Daughter...
Absolutely would've done what op did and call police for the car. Anyone who goes behind your back to do something with your property after being told no is capable of much worse things when being told no. She needs to run because what happens when she says no to intimacy and suddenly "what's yours is mine" applies to her body too? Not a risk worth it. Not to mention, medical work is strict. She misses that shift, she could lose her job, and we all know she's the breadwinner. She could lose everything from his stupidity.
Story 2, yeah that nuts. I have permission from my sister and brother-in-law to come and go as I please and know where the key 🔑 is kept, but during more normal hours say about 6am to 9pm, on the rare occasions earlier or later they know ahead of time and are expecting it, big difference in concept.
Last story. I heard that before but it wasn't a celebration for a friend, it was New Year. But I agree OP is not the a**hole. If my boyfriend had stolen my car after being told No, I would no longer have a boyfriend and he'd have a police record.
Plus he would’ve thought it was right to steal other things from her if she didn’t call the police, like her bank card or money in her purse. She needs to dump him and press charges for the stolen car. Once a thief always a thief.
If I’m in public and have to use the bathroom and I’m in a stall I literally have a hard time “going”. So if you’re outside the door kicking and screaming at me it’s gonna take me that much longer to go lol. No pun intended 😂😂😂
The audacity to just go up to a delivery guy and expect a pizza. The last one leave him as fast as you can. Not only did he take her car but doesn't think her job is important so she's not important.
If I had a nickel for every time a Karen asked for a free pizza in the Dark Fluff videos I watched presently, I have two nickels. Now that isn’t a lot but it’s definitely weird that it happened twice now
@@animefan8591technically haminations based on the phrasing, but it did originate from Phineas and Ferb becoming an iconic phrase. But seriously though, you think these Karen’s would learn by now
I am the delivery guy from the pizza story. This happened pre-covid lockdown. I got so many crazy stories from that and another delivery job, but this was definitely one of the winners! I still vividly remember that moment when I heard my trunk open while I'm stuffing things in the backseat and just going "Sonofabitch." I feel so sorry for her kid. I really hope she got out of that toxic woman's orbit and is doing well.
@@Grandmawolff Unfortunately, no, I'm not still doing it as the company moved out of the city, and probably would have had to get a new job soon after anyway, as lockdown happened only a few months later, and it delivered to businesses.
I was at a Tim Hortons in mall in North Bay, ON and there was a woman waiting for her order and me waiting in line. No other customers were there. I walked to one of the cashes and a young girl from out in the mall stepped in front of me. I thought she had been with a group of girls that we’re already seated and eating. The sever said she’d be with her in a minute. When the other server said ‘next’ I started to walk over and this girl jumped in front of me again. I said several times ‘excuse me, I was next’ and she completely ignored me. The server did absolutely nothing. When I got up to her I said to her that I was next and she should have moved her to the back of the line. The sever just shrugged her shoulders at me. Turns out the girl was not with the other group of girls cause she sat down by herself. Such entitlement. And the server was useless. I’m glad that’s a Tim’s I rarely go to cause I don’t live in North Bay.
Story #1---I was hit by one of those intense "go in the public toilet or your pants" cramps while food shopping. I headed immediately to the one men's room in the store that had a single toilet stall and a single urinal. There I encountered an unoccupied urinal and a man in the stall, door wide open, pants around his ankles, standing in front of the toilet and he says, "C'mon in! It's fine!" I said, "No Thank you." Left the store and found that my body had reset its priorities so well that I made it back home without incident! I don't go to that store anymore.
Story 1: pro move: reach under, grab the heels and pull as hard as possible, either snap them off or drop her to the floor. Bonus points for flushing the broken heel down the toilet.
If I had been the pizza delivery guy and someone was hanging around my car begging for a free pizza, I would have locked the hatchback before I went about packing up the back seat. At the grocery store I ALWAYS lock my hatchback before I return my cart. An ounce of prevention.....
In responce to story 2, no your parents/siblings should NOT be given free reign of your home. I left home at 16 after years of abuse from one of my sisters. She eventually came out with "just leave nobody wants you here" my mom did nothing as usual so i did...just left. Didnt speak to anyone in my family for about 17 years. They all thought i was dead. I only reconnected with them a few years ago, Having my own family by then. Long story short they are NOT given free reign of MY home just because "we are family"
1st story. She's definitely OCD if she uses the same stall every time. 4th story. No one has mentioned that the food would have been cold by the time all this had finished. Even with those hot bags they use.
Last Story: It’s amazing how many people think healthcare workers can just brush off a shift. Not only did he endanger her job, he could’ve endangered lives.
Story 2 reminds me of when our landlord kept a key and popped in when we were out one time and commented on why we changed the bathroom cabinet to a better one. Us: Why were you in our place? Needless to say, we got those keys back after discussing it with the estate agent. I did not feel safe that someone could just come in and look at things as if they needed to know what the tenant was doing. Unannounced.
For the pizza story, OP was okay to touch her cause that was defending his property. She had already commited a crime entering his vehicle without consent. At that point its elevated as defense of property. He was just nice and made sure her fingers didnt get crushed when he slammed it shut 😊
As far as the line is concerned, I live in Europe - Britain & trust me, we’re very good at standing in line (queuing we call it). We’re also very into fairness, so that lady, who jumped the line & said ‘that’s how they do it Europe’ couldn’t be more wrong 💞
Bloke I know told me he was in the market in the queue for the cheese stall, when the local MP* (and his minder) came in from nowhere and went straight to the counter. My friend says "Oi! There's a queue!", whereupon MP glares at my friend and says in very pompous voice: "Do you know who I am?" "Yes, I do!" says my friend. "And there's still a queue, it ends there!" (Pointing at the last customer.) Our favourite MP gives my friend the Death Stare, realised he had NO support from the rest of the queuers, and stalked off, minder in tow. When our friend told us this at work next day, we all told him he'd missed a trick: The answer to "Do you know who I am?" is a very loud "Can someone help this gentleman? He's forgotten who he is!" *Member of Parliament. Sort of like a Senator.
Story 5: I always ask my roommates of 10+ years (we're a family essentially) if I can use their vehicles and if they're asleep, I don't do it unless I wake them to ask. Hell, I bought one of them but it's in my roommate's name and I'm not taking it without his knowledge or consent.
It wasn't that the dad had a key to the house that made them feel less safe... It was that the dad was just letting themselves in whenever they wanted to. It was the fact that they didn't see any issue with them treating someone else's house as their own house even after they were told not to do so. And unless you have that sort of relationship with someone the fact that someone can just waltz right into your house whenever they want to can be very scary even if you know the person that's walting in.
Bathroom stall story: I'd call the cops. I'd literally be on the phone while she's screaming. And yeah, it's probably a drop off point for something illegal.
You know it's REALLY hard. Discusting that random people show up and think that they can just show up at an event and ask to take food that's been given to those who deserve it. Up pops up the entitled Karen thinking that's it's just because there's a food festival going on and automatically thinks that no one's going to miss one Pizza when that Pizza is being documented for payment .
Story 4, OP says he's "a little heavy set" at 6'0" and 260#. That's not a little, that's obese. I was 6'0" and 240# and my doctor put me on an emergency diet because I became diabetic due to my appetite. I was asymptomatic and got my diagnosis when I went in for another matter. I'm 185# now and still kinda pudgy, so I continue to watch what I eat very carefully. OP needs to see a doctor, too. He's in some serious denial, and that can kill you.
Story 1: I would have called security from the stall, people their private time seriously. She'd be locked up for harassment. It would not have gone longer than a minute or two. Story 5: I would not only have called the cops. I would have dumped his ass, and kept the charges pressed!
Last story: like a lot of comments said, it's a huge red flag not accepting no for an answer, but i would like to add that if he goes partying with his friends and alcohol it's involved (like in most reunions or parties), he shouldn't be driving in the first place
Story 1: the Karen left drugs in "her" stall! Story 4: forcibly removing someone's hand from something they're attempting to steal is not assault -- it's a "teaching moment"!
Story 5: i had an ex pull this on me once. Key word: ex. I called the cops and she's lucky it was a mutual acquaintance who caught her, because she would have had GTA charges on her
Asking someone if they see you as a threat in such a manner clearly denotes that you could easily become one if you aren't already. So you gotta be real careful how you act after letting yourself in uninvited. There's a lot the couple in story 2 could have gotten away with and claimed it as self defense.
The "accusing you are having a negative trait like being selfish even though THEY'RE the ones literally acting like that" scenario. "Gotta love it!" I exclaimed sarcastically. But seriously though my family acts like that too & it's absolutely INFURIATING!
Story about entitled father letting himself into OP’s house: when he knocked on the bedroom door, why didn’t he announce himself to them so that they knew it wasn’t a stranger who meant to harm them? Would the father open a door under those circumstances when he had no clue who was on the other side?
The Last Story: NTA! So the guy takes the car after he was specifically told “NO” and had the audacity to get angry at OP when she followed through on her threat on calling the police? Like, dude, you STOLE someone else’s car! You don’t have the right to be angry! Play stupid games…win stupid prizes. Also, “what’s yours is mine?” Last I checked, you weren’t the one making the payments to the car, OP was. Get over yourself!
Story 2: ugh, I hate that dad's "well it shouldn't matter because *I* didn't do it before" mentality. My mother pulled that same crap about my childhood, acting like I shouldn't be bothered by what happened just because *she* didn't do it... that doesn't make it suddenly stop existing or mean it will stop having effects.
Story 4 - People love trying to get anything they can. I was moving into a place, and this guy just starts (almost cartoonishly) looking in my car, and my wife yells and asks him what he's doing. He starts to approach her saying something...it's too fast and slurred for me to make out...but she asked him to stay back. He took a step back, put his hands up, and then slowly started walked towards her again. I've been behind her for a moment or two...but when he started coming towards us I picked up a landscaping rock. He bolted like roadrunner at that point and over the fence. I learned later we were like 10 blocks down from a bunch of motels used as halfway houses for people getting out of prison. Great place...sarcasm...but it was cheap for students.
That's actually a big problem and major annoyance in the US -- having to share a one bathroom with strangers in public locations. That's the one thing I absolutely HATE about America! In New York, there really are homeless people who claim that public bathrooms are their home and yell at people using the bathroom.
Story 4 : uhm.... next time BREAK her hand for atempted theft? Theft is Theft, no matter the reason. THere are PLACES for those not able to feed their children, if that woman doesnt know, thats not your problem. Story 5: Uhm... its Theft, your not the Ahole, sue him next time HARD. I already went against my own father, i could go against ANYONE in court.
At 15:50, «I just stare at her in shock, wondering how she jumped so suddenly from trying to steal my delivery to me assaulting her by pulling her hand away from the food.» OP shouldn’t wonder how it happened. That broad, like so many of them, acted by experience in manipulating a bad situation they created themselves for their own profits. About the last story, OP should dump her boyfriend for all the comments she read on this sub!
For the last story, if op didn't call the cops and got her car back, who (SO or his friends) would have drove the car back because pretty sure they all would have been drunk
Story 3 the mom is NOT the ahole!!! Daughter is a spoiled brat. She will go through life thinking all must go her way. She needed to be taught a lesson for the attitude and remarks. It's apparent she's never been disciplined in her 12yrs
Im guess that the stall doors swing outward ... OP should have given that lady/karen a good surprise by throwing the door open very fast so that it smacked her right in the face/nose
Story 2: You can't just randomly enter someone else's house. Even if that someone is your child. They have a right to privacy
In Texas or Florida.... could be a fatal mistake My loaded pistol is always within easy reach! 🤨
@@lancerevell5979 that also applies to Indiana, because IN has Castle Doctrine/Stand Your Ground law, as well as being a Constitutional Carry State
Break into my home you going to deal with a .45 and two 90ibs dogs
Story 2: "Am I a threat to you?" YES! Clearly, this man has never heard of DV or child abuse before. Just because someone is family, does not mean they cannot be a threat to your health and wellbeing.
Wish everyone could listen to this!
I hope she's smart enough to leave the man.
He deserved to have the cops called on him. He could have put patients in danger by keeping a nurse from getting to work.
@@thunderflare59 Exactly! As someone else said in the comments, she could have even lost her job.
He almost cost her her career and that's more important than a party with pals. I know I wouldn't tolerate it.
Story 5: Whether someone is your SO or not, taking things without permission is THEFT. And if OP is using the car to get to work in order to afford said car AND keep a roof over their head, then absolutely the fiancé needs to go. She needs to dump him immediately and press charges for his thieving ways.
Needs to be EX-boyfriend.
OP needs to move back to her old neighborhood, sell the car, take public transportation, and let her thief of a fiance drive, bus, or UBER to her place.
@@owenbrau63 I agree. OP said he's his fiancee? Give him the ring back!
Hell yeah I would have called the cops on my SO if he took the car without permission. Especially if I were in the medical field where lives depend on me being at work. OP needs to leave this man child.
And press charges to theft as well. Make him realise consequences have actions, hitting where it hurts. His Wallet.
On Story 2, OP should do what the OP in the last story did, call the police. And press charges for B & E.
Just ask him:
What happens if you go out partying and suddenly I'm needed because someone is dying and needs my help?
So basically SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE DIED...because I can't be there... BECAUSE YOU TOOK MY CAR!!!!
So what if it's one of your other friends, relatives, siblings, or parents had died because I couldn't come to them? What now, huh?
So do you understand me now how serious it is for me to have my car? Do you?
@@rokuth It’s not “breaking” and entering. He didn’t break in. He had a key to their house.
Anyone who knowingly and willingly threatens their partner's livelihood should be dumped like the piece of garbage they are.
that man better be an ex so fast-
And since she worked as a nurse, he endangered the patients of her job too.
If I pulled a stunt like that with my wife, she would end up in jail. Why? Because she'd kill me!
Ikr??? Its not like he took it in an emergency or something he went to a bar ffs. Plus she offered to fix his car! There is 100% no reason for this situation to have happened
Yeah, when a Karen demands the stall you're using, stalling her out of spite is the only acceptable answer.
An enemy backed into a corner is the most dangerous, for they have nothing left to lose: Teshen

It doesn't matter how many pizzas the company overbooked, none of those should go to the pizza thief Karen.

Story 2. That dad is lucky OP didn't have a gun and a shaky trigger finger.
Or something with more bite than a baseball bat, like a sword collection...
@@SonsOfLorgar Or at the very least deoderant all the way up to bear mace.
Well done dad!
*Okay, the people receiving that huge order were awesome for applauding and thanking OP for "valiantly protecting their lunch", which is adorable!*
I mean I know I would. That is very much a realistic "And everyone clapped" moment
I was at one of those cash advance places, waiting to pay back a small 'loan' I had gotten the month before when the refrigerator took a dump! The place was crowded! Some woman walks in, sees all the people and loudly exclains, "Oh, hell NO! I am NOT waiting for all that!"
She begins making her way to the counter and one of the clerks, trying to avoid a hassle, beckoned her to come forward to her window.
I stood up and said, also loudly, "If you take her before all of us, that clears all of us from owing you people any money!"
In some states, if a lender refuses your payment, you can call out the loan completely.
LOL
If I got wait in line, you'll be waiting too. Something we learn in Pre-K/Kindergarten.
Those relatives that got pissed should have given him their car then.
Instead of stealing a car your partner needs a hell of a lot more, as lives potentially depend on her being at work
Two words to describe this boyfriend.
*Gold Digger*
Or get his own car fixed.
For the bathroom stall one: Karen didn't even use the toilet. The only thing I can think of was that the stall was a drop point for something. I guess she could just be unhinged though.
that's what I was thinking, or she'd stashed something in there herself...
Story 4: That Karen really think that it's OK to steal the pizza but when OP is trying to his job right Karen decided to go psycho all because she want free food. Amazing the daughter has the sense to try to stop her mother and I'm hoping she never sees her mother again after that stunt.
Most kids are mortified by their mothers' Karen behaviour.
Something tells me the daughter has seen it all before.
Then take your pick of the other empty stalls cause this one ain't in service!"
Story 4.
"BuT ThEY're SO EXPENSIve!"
Last story:
1. Only MATURE ADULTS should get married.
2. Either A. Put all of your stuff in storage (if you're not on the lease) or B. Put all his stuff on the porch/in the hallway and have strong locks professionally installed RIGHT NOW. (If you are the only one on the lease.)
3.Mail the ring to his parents.
4. Block his number.
Good luck, OP. That you even feel the need to ask if you are the A-hole means these suggestions are long overdue.
What if they’re both on the lease?
@kranberry3318 Contact the leasing office. Either get herself removed or him.
That way, if she leaves, the landlord knows the dummy is responsible for the place.
If she wants him out, the landlord can update the lease. Now if dummy comes back, a restraining order/trespassing can be applied.
That last story? They'd been living together and she didn't know his real attitudes? At least she can drop him without a formal divorce.
I disagree with Fluff about what boyfriend should say to his parents. Instead of saying his girlfriend wants to get the key back, he should say WE want the key back. Don't leave room for the parents to blame OP.
Yup 💯
Threaten 'Either give the key back or we'll rekey our place!' Then rekey anyway in case they made copies.
He should say "I want my key back". Leave no question that this is not about the girlfriends sensitivities. WE means, my girlfriend wants it and I caved.
@@HiltownJoe Good point. Very likely.
"Keep the key. I'm changing the locks because I don't trust either of you any further than I can throw you. If you come banging on my door again, I'll call the cops."

Which goes to show he has no respect for her & doesn't care abt her at all. Obviously his friends are just as bad as he is. Also red flags everywhere if in a group of 30 somethings none of them have a car or can afford Uber
Story 1 my immediate response to that kind of bathroom rudeness is this:
A very loud arm fart followed by "sorry I'm in for the long haul"
Usually followed by more arm farts, the louder the better.

So glad OP pressed charges, entitled mom needs a reality check, although I doubt she’ll learn anything.

The audacity to just go up to a delivery guy and expect a pizza. The last one leave him as fast as you can. Not only did he take her car but doesn't think her job is important so she's not important.
The pizza incident: once everything was taken care of, but before the grandparents took the daughter, I would have bought that kid a pizza.

Entitled Pizza Thief [EPT] takes swing at police officer.
[EPT, inner thoughts]: This will work out fine...
It's fine!"
I said, "No Thank you." Left the store and found that my body had reset its priorities so well that I made it back home without incident!
I don't go to that store anymore.
Story 1: pro move: reach under, grab the heels and pull as hard as possible, either snap them off or drop her to the floor. Bonus points for flushing the broken heel down the toilet.
" What's yours is mine " Oh hell no..
There's a queue!", whereupon MP glares at my friend and says in very pompous voice: "Do you know who I am?"
"Yes, I do!" says my friend. "And there's still a queue, it ends there!" (Pointing at the last customer.)
Our favourite MP gives my friend the Death Stare, realised he had NO support from the rest of the queuers, and stalked off, minder in tow.
When our friend told us this at work next day, we all told him he'd missed a trick: The answer to "Do you know who I am?" is a very loud "Can someone help this gentleman? He's forgotten who he is!"
*Member of Parliament.
Time to start studying how the mafia deals with entitled people like those parents.
Story #2 - Honestly, I would have the locks changed because I wouldn't trust that they hadn't made a duplicate key. Then tell them to eff off.
As someone from Europe, all I can say is WE ARE THE MASTERS OF WAITING IN LINE! We will wait for our turn patiently.
Story 5 - I agree OP needs to find herself a new boyfriend. That guy is a complete jerk.
That’s easy to fix though, NYPD loves making the world miserable for homeless folks
Yes, totally agree those damn socialist bathrooms in america. There is no such thing as public restrooms anywhere except america.
Maybe they have something stashed away in those stalls?
Never apologize to people like that
Story 3 the mom is NOT the ahole!!!
Story 2: OP is not the jerk, the fiancée took the car without permission and has to deal with it.
