I was just thinking how he is one of the few people who can get through to my emotions when I'm usually just cold-hearted as a defense mechanism but also genuinely just stoic and not very expressive lol
This was very inspiring and can make a huge difference in how we move forward. I'm finishing my first Saturn return as he moves out of Aquarius and one thing I learned that Chris also helps me remember is that yes logic is great but logic is one of the things that makes his "reasoning" beings but so do our feelings and emotions. Tapping into them has been scary AF but so liberating!

My dad has Saturn in Pisces and this describes him so well. He was having a cardiac stress test, which. is given in several stages. He was in the waiting area to go back in for the next stage and I asked him how the last stage had gone because he looked terrible. He said it had been pretty uncomfortable. I said "Oh I'm sorry you're going through this" and he practically spat at ne "I don't need your pity!" So I shook my head and went back out to run some errands. Right after that, the doctor had to call an ambulance to take him for an emergency heart cath. He is fine now but this experience has helped him accept help. I don't consider him a burden, but his fear of being a burden or a victim certainly makes him difficult to help or care for!

If someone is in pain, they are (consciously or not) asking for empathy or assistance. And Saturn being limits in Pisces which is all about universal love means someone who is restricted or constricted where they otherwise could or should be empathetic and caring.
Christopher’s wise words that the Saturn in Pisces person is a victim mentality, in other words: someone with woundedness that needs to be looked at. And when the victim person looks at his own hurts, and reaches out to help another, he also heals himself through the connection and care.

Wow, thank you so much Christopher, my concept of Saturn has been transformed!
My childhood was so traumatic that I didn’t remember it til after my 1st Saturn return. It’s been tough. I hadn’t recognised Saturn as a friend until right now, cos:
in my most difficult moments when small, I had a sense of a profoundly loving protective energy that enfolded and contained my innermost being and kept my soul safe, despite what my body endured.
Your description of Saturn in Pisces exactly describes that energy - and now I see that it is Saturn who has been my greatest friend, protector and benefactor!!! 💗 Huge thanks 🙏🏼

Baby Left at the Church Door Syndrome...
Oh my, Christopher, this hits so close to home for me. Literally. My dear, late grandmother was sent to live in a convent at age 8, during a time of financial hardship for her family. They were in turn compensated financially by the church. She remained in the convent until age 23, when she requested exit so that she may honor God's calling to become a wife and a mother. As long as I've known her, she has battled the demons of abandonment, and fear of rejection. Hardships of any kind- financial, emotional, etc- would push her into a dark pit of coping mechanisms... which of course, sprayed from her like buckshot- piercing innocent bystanders (us). Due to these behaviors, which were indeed toxic, most of my family gifted her her worst fear- they cut ties with her and she died mostly alone. I think that because i was able to see *through* her coping mechanisms and into the *root* of her behaviors, I was never as compelled to cut ties. My heart is still broken knowing the pain and absolute betrayal she had to endure from her own family and also from what should have been the epitome of a safe space- the church.
Ugh. I'm now in tears, wondering why I've rambled on so to strangers on the internet... but instead of deleting, I'm going to be brave and hit enter. Not even sure why.
    🖤

You’ve done it again, Christopher. Blown my mind with your story telling. I learn so much this way. I’m able to absorb the message so much easier as it’s not so heady. I bet Saturn was a good story teller too. I have deep reverence for Saturn, probably because I’m a Cap rising. Oh, you begun the talk with the metaphor of a Lighthouse. I have to tell you this story…my father was a Capricorn /Aquarius Sun cusp. His birthday was 20th January. He wasn’t a great lover of people, especially in his elder years. One of the things he would often say is that he would be much happier living alone in a Lighthouse with no one around him, except his dog. Well, he kinda got his wish. He was in his 80’s when my mother left him, all my siblings lived in another state and so it was really on me that he had contact with. He was one of those that found it almost impossible to except help or advice from anyone. And so he became quite lonely. He didn’t want anyone else but Mum, but she was never going to return. Quite sad for him. Anyhoo, at the end of his life, in palliative care in Hospital, I was stunned to see a beautiful framed photo of a Lighthouse on the wall of his room. I thought right there…wow you got your wish. A self fulfilling prophecy of sorts don’t you think?

I have Pluto at 0° in my 12th house. I also have Saturn conjunct my Sun in the 4th house. I think I'm the only one of my 6 siblings that fully felt the heaviness and sadness my mother carried for having endured a childhood with an alcoholic father who would disappear and then reappear. When he was present, there was frequent if not constant discord, and plenty of shouting between her parents. I never even knew the details or the extent of it till I was in my 50's, and my aunt told me about it. My mother said very little about her past, and even though she raised us very differently, and had a good husband, I could see her underlying sadness, even when i was young. I don't know what she did exactly to make a home so improved for us, but she's gone now, and I'm impressed. It must have been very difficult for her to make a rather good life for us. I was there when she died of cancer at age 79, and her anxiety surfaced on her deathbed. She worried that she hadn't done enough good in her life and wanted to live longer and prove herself, mostly to God, even though she had been a faithful fundamentalist Christian. It makes me sad. I do spend most of my time alone when I'm not working.

Thank you for linking Saturn with self fulfilling prophecy that was very helpful to visualise. I actually had a very literal experience of Saturn at the anaretic degree of Aquarius moving through my 12th house also conjunct mercury in Pisces where my neighbour crossed the border of his land (naively and illegally!) into mine and cut down a tree on my property. It took me a few days to recover from what I experienced as a violation and I certainly felt like a victim. I see the impact of Pisces/12th house on Saturn as something that potentially weakens Saturn’s ability to stand guard between worlds borders or between property lines in my case. Holy cow! Dear Christopher, ever since I began my journey in learning astrology 3 years ago, I wasn’t able to understand my Saturn in Pisces, in the first house😳, but you created such a clear picture of storytelling and examples that allowed me to see what this placement means. It breaks my heart to hear about the baby left at the church syndrome as not only do I have this placement but my daughter does, my husband and my friends. You have opened the door to my understanding and I hope to help my loved ones understand as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Interesting to hear the number 7 associated with Saturn as it’s my favorite number and with my ascendant in Aquarius and natal Saturn also in my first house as well, he’s a big part of my life! You’re amazing Christopher❤️🥰❤️🤩

That was so beautifull, so profound. I really think you are a great master of the human understanding. Listening to you is a moving experience, a blessing. The relation with the expression of pain is indeed complicated. Years ago, I used to express pain with anger. Nowadays I still feel a little guilty and ashamed but I manage to express It. The result of doing so is being despised by some but It also allows others to express there vulnerability. Now I think there are moments to be strong but there are also some moments not to be strong in order to recognise our real feelings and be able to know ourselves. Thank you so much, Christopher!

Hi Christopher, Is it possible the 12th house rules over grief..or more specifically the loss of a child? I lost my daughter 32 years ago and it’s clear to me now, on the eve of her 33rd birthday, the same age I was when she passed, that I have lived within the boundaries of grief since. I have Uranus in the 12th and my Part of Fortune. Thank you for another fascinating insight 🙏💜

    • @RadioPsychicAstrologyByPepper
      @RadioPsychicAstrologyByPepper Год назад +2

I very much think that it does! I am also an astrolger and therapist and I lost my son 26½ years ago... I think it often has been a factor in grieving a child who was lost in infancy being tied to the space between lifetimes/birth into this current one still blurred throughout the first year to 18 months of life... But any kind of grief can be 12th house in that it can trap you imprisonment style but also it's necessary to experience it in order to continue existing, the loss of any significant kind should be grieved! "Grief is the price we pay for love," was a quote from the physician of Queen Victoria. This quote has been very helpful for me to meditate on. And we shouldn't allow it to IMPRISON us but it's very necessary to get through it. There's no such thing as closure for this kind of thing. But there's healing from the kind of harrowing rawness that the early or middle point of it is... There's a lot to be said for group fellowship in the loss of a child or in any grief... My brother died of suicide within the same year of my son's death in the NICU. (Eerily the video just mentioned Venus making septile with Uranus on the 12th... This was my brother's birthday...) and I was in college to be a psychologist doing internship work on periphery of support group grief but I didn't actually allow myself to address MY deep unwept unheard cry for love I no longer had a physical person to place around and in. So I joined a couple of groups for suicide survivors and for mothers who lost children and it was very very helpful! Tremendously. Because in some ways it's like electively signing into a hospital or rehab for an hour or so... It's with others healing from similar things, it's not gatekeeping but it's a protective boundary from the world outside who might interrupt the healing but also might not want to need to see what happens within the world of those inside. It's a retreat of sorts asylum as in seeking it not involuntary commitment. Because I think I had become almost hooked on the depth of it. Grief. I needed rehab for grieving. I will always grieve Peter and Bobby. But I am also now a lot more effective than I was in speaking up about the topics. Because 25/ 30 years ago we weren't allowed to do that without a great deal more stigmatization. Suicide? Loss of baby? This was either "victim mentality" or people were scared it was contagious. My dad's first wife died of breast cancer 53 years ago and they weren't even allowed to put the word in the obituary. People whispered it. The big C. Thankfully now they have Pink Ribbons and October and people talk about it so we can prevent it with earlier awareness! March is MS awareness. My sister has MS and my son's father was diagnosed with it in 2016. And grief is necessary! People need to grieve. There are correlations between keeping emotions bottled and rise in risks for cancer and heart disease strokes.. however we can't live constantly in it. In the case of child loss it was pointed out in one group that we have words like orphan or widow that define where one human has been forever changed by the loss of another. But there's no word for those who lost a child. Boy there are times I wish there was and I'm sorry you had to experience this as well.

This is interesting at the end. My answer to people who play the victim and what bothers me about that is that they aren't tapping into their own soul, and recognizing the potential they have they gave up on. It also caused them to ignore people who crossed paths with them that provided opportunity or advice they didn't see because they were closed minded. But it isn't their fault, they grew up in an environment that influenced them that way..so as a Pisces my reaction isn't anger, it's trying to get their perspective on what causes them to feel that way. I love to open conversation with people about why they are who they are. Some people know exactly their reasons and what they experienced where they can spit it out right away, and others have the same reasons but they didn't really live it or blame others and they just put it on their backs to carry based on what others say or tell them, and because no one helped them know how to move forward..and instead of exploring who they really are they let others influence them .As a Pisces I empathize with everyone, literally think of a serial killer .. I don't feel bad for them however I feel intrigued to understand how they became that way in the first place.
Now to try and relate to when you said to think about what bothers us when people says they are victims to dig deep and it's probably your own feeling of abandonment that was interesting..but what came to mind was how I feel when Oprah says shes oppressed, and that's a victim hood comment. I mean a female, black, billionaire. Perhaps she used to be but it bothers me when I ( as a Pisces)sees her portray this through current times and the victim hood makes me wonder why she doesn't speak about empowerment instead of victim hood. That is probably the answer to why those who feel like a victim with out actually being one happens. When they are listening to the doom and gloom from a billionaire or first lady or star basketball player it's normal to spread the hopelessness. I am hoping you can shed light on why that bothers me.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts Lak Cunha. I like the way you open conversations with people about why they are who they are. I think it's something we could all learn from - including the people being asked. 🙂 I think the fact that people react to the word "victim" in so many different ways speaks to the deep chord it strikes in all of us. That's the conversation that Saturn in Pisces brings up by its transit and it's one we will all be wrapping our hearts and minds around in the next couple of years. 😊

I have Saturn in Pisces - 15°. My story fits the model of the child who was left alone much of the time, went to live with relatives for a period of time, AND at age 11, I overheard my mother laughing over coffee with a friend about how she tried to "douche me to death" when she found out she was pregnant with me. I wasn't feeling the love that day. BUT... I've become very comfortable with being alone, although I can get along just fine with other people. I'm very comfortable with who I am.
