Fascinating, absolutely fascinating. The Mad Monk with his horrific methods pushing everyone to the brink of destruction

I’ve been looking for a good summary of Elantris and this is by far the best I’ve found in RUclips. Great work, please release part 7

I so love Hrathen's arc in this and where he ended up, and how well it was handled. Not rejecting his religion because the people in charge were corrupt, self serving assholes, but pretty much pulling a Martin Luther. Only he nailed Dilaph in the face rather then a list of complaints to a church. Not as huge a fan of the sudden "Oh I love Sarene" bit since, well, Sarene really did not need more "Oh look how awesome she is!" character shilling.
And yup, that pool totally would have killed Raoden, yup, that is most certainly a pool of oblivion there....

Or (spoilers for future Brandon Sanderson books):
      Sent Raoden to Shadesmar.

      (Spoilers for Cosmere)
Riino looks to Raoden and then to a lighthouse. "Nice to see you again. Welcome to your new job. You take the day shift. I'll start working once the sun goes down. Don't bug me til then."

One more part to go! I'm glad Chuck's done this book, I've been enjoying it, and I'm interested to hear Chuck's thoughts on this book later, though I'm also interested to see if a certain bandaged-wrapped individual is going to get a passing mention in the next part (possibly at the end) or if that'll have to wait until later books

It's a shame that the proces of reshaping your bones is so painful, otherwise the monks could have made bank with plastic surgery.

I forgot exactly how much happened in this book, and all Branden Sanderson books are like that. A LOT happens, and the ending builds up like an avalanche.

My partner and I refer to it as the Sanderson Cascade.

I'd rather a political leader with a disease rather than like 70% of the ones we've currently got who have "perfect" health

This is very much just a political thriller with fantasy elements peppered throughout. Not my cup teap, I'm sorry to say.
