My name is Laren (Like Karen) and I have so many plans.
Today's video is done by my HUSBAND Kyle! I have asked him so many times to punch and un-jam my punch when trying to punch something heavier (like plastic) that he said we should make a video for me to refer back too. I hope it helps you the way it helped me.
He does 2 different covers. The first one he jams the punch and shows you how to unjam it. Then the second he does it perfect! If you like this - leave him some love in the comments!

I love this idea, I have no hand strength due to tendonitis. But, I could likely do 2 at a time easier! Thanks for the demonstration. I love the ideas others have posted. But I think you likely find your job very rewarding & I find it very admirable!
Laren, you lucky girl! If Kyle wasn't married and I was 30 years younger, I'd be after that man. What a sweet man to figure this out for you . And thank-you both for sharing. I been trying all kinds of solutions to this problem. Yous is the only one that I truely like and it works! I was just about to give in and settle for the regular hole punch way that involved cutting a stem off the circle. Yuck, not what I wanted. Thank-you again! Now I'm old and my eyes aren't so good any more so, my only suggestion would be to mark your holes with a bright marker. I used black and it was hard to see my mark in the holes as I tried to line them up. Laren hold on to that man. He is a gem.
I AM SO lucky! I am glad it helped. He is definitely my partner in crime. If he wasn't so loyal I would be more worried someone would come snatch him up! :)

Thank you Kyle! I too liked my happy planner big punch until it jamned big time and I now have a sticky punch head and a ruined plastic sheet. Does your technique wear out those end heads faster? I later found that other punches have replacement heads but I didn't find that supply for MAMBI. So the hunt continues. Now with your technique I hope to have a better punch experience going forward!

I use the chopping mats from dollar tree. :)
So am I understanding right but essentially you “score” or make an impression and then go back and use to score marks for a second punch that should be easier because of the scored area?
Not, its using the 2 end holes that makes it work so well.
