You can remove the arc holes, if you take iff the bottom, you can remove the individual disc holes by unscrewing them, and wiggling them out. Also it has to be unlocked. But it can be done. Or at least the one I have is that way. It is a few years old at this point, but try looking at the bottom. I use it that way to make laminated covers for the classic happy planner.
I have an ARC that I bought in 2021. The stems seem a little bit longer than the one you show. And even though I have been punching basic, cheap copier paper, I am not having any noticeable problems with the punched sheets pulling off of the discs. Because I haven't had any problems, I haven't even looked into whether I could adjust the posts or not.
If anyone is watching in July ‘24, just bought the Happy Planner punch and used it on cardstock without any issues. So maybe they improved their product…🤷🏼♀️ Hopefully it will continue to do what I need.
Very true about the happy planner punch. I broke my classic size because I tried to hole punch just one side of a clear cover set that I cut with my cricket machine. I was so sad because here I am trying to buy another punch. I did purchase the ARC punch and although I love how sturdy it feels, the punches are very shallow so it’s been frustrating because the pages seem to just come out easier So I’m back to buying another punch before I just rush out and get the happy planner punch “again” I am trying to see if the Tul one is going to punch deburr punches. I’m still wondering why after all these years the happy planner just won’t create one punch with adjustment notches 🤣🤣🤣 I’m so sick of these companies that want to force you to buy a different size hole punch for each type of planner when the happy planner makes a lot of money because people who own happy planners always own more than one or multiple sizes in the happy planner brand. I have an entire box of happy planner parts ! I have so much that I just don’t want to throw away in the trash that I’m thinking about just re-selling it on my own Etsy shop! LOL😁 But I’m also glad I’ve kept all the parts because I like switching out planner covers and planner parts. And there was even an entire year where I didn’t buy a new happy planner because I had so many parts and I just printed my own inserts. But, since I started my own Etsy Shop: Planner Therapy, I have been all about the half letter clear planner!
Yes, I agree. I have been making planner inserts for discbound planners at my website for the fact that there is many different punches for discbound. I am give the opinion to have unpunch or punch with Levenger Punch because I found that is best for bulk punching.
Hi there! This video is so helpful! Do you know if the spaces between each punch is identical to the Happy Planner punches? I want to make sure that the holes I make with the Levenger punch are exactly the same distance apart as the ones I make with the Happy Planner brand😅
I have the blue Happy planner punch and I pave punched many laminated sheets, up to 250micron, but they get stuck and I have to spend a long time fixing it so I can punch again, I would love to have the levenger but they do not ship to Mexico, so I am stuck with my happy planner one. Hiya. I am in the UK and use A4 sheets of paper. I have been looking at purchasing the levenger because it is great at punchimg through thicker laminated covers and thick paper. I was wondering if the levenger can be used to punch holes in A4 sheet sizes? I know the maximum is lettersize but would it be possible to somehow punch A4 size?
Yes, Just move the aline bar to the edge and center it on the punch. This is my work around A5 size too. I just center odd pages on the punch to the punch them. I hope this helps.
I've heard the levenger punched paper moves more easily when you turn the page. Supposibly It doesn't snag as much as the Happy Planner and Arc one. Have you noticed a difference with that one?
You may need to punch it with scrap paper. Page protector is thin and doesn't punch well because of this. I have not personal tried this on the Levenger punch. Thank you for watching!
Unfortunately, the punches are welded to it. I have noticed that if you trim the laminate down that the little nick will not be there. I am still playing with how to make the covers just right so you can avoid the nick. Regular 9.25 inch paper doesn't get the nick. Of course the covers are 9.5 inches. Thank you for watching!

I just purchased the same Levenger used in the video and two of the dies/punches are already loose, very wiggly. I haven’t punched anything but paper or card stock. Only had it two weeks. I can’t see how to remove the bottom and tighten the individual punches.

Yes, I have notice that the Levenger punch doesn't snag as well.
