So important to remember the terrible things that happens in war. You'd hope it would be a warning from history, but it is still happening today.

Orador, so moving, but I don't think I could go back again. Jayne and I were there earlier this year. And I couldn't comprehend how a human being could do that to one another.
It brought tears to my eyes, and that is something that will live with me forever.
Strange thing, there were no sounds of birds or for that matter sights of birds.

Wow what can I say about the place you visited 😥😥 it must have been so emotional seeing all those faces, especially the children and then to see the village, I think I would have been a blubbering mess. Very moving, thank you for sharing.

We have LED bulbs in our headlamps. They are so much better, especially when travelling through France at night, though we stick to the motorways
We definitely need to change ours, they are absolutely rubbish 😞

It’s a really moving place to visit isn’t it - we visited a couple of times as Rachel’s mum used to live near Limoges - interesting to see there has been some further decay due to the weather since we last visited.

How sad is that village of Obrador so bloody barbaric it’s hard to comprehend. Thanks for showing us 🥺 we had an experience of driving at night in France through a horrific storm it was horrendous and we will never do it again !!! Feel for you driving in the fog 😮 safe travels guys off to Spain 🇪🇸🤣😍 xxx

We visited the memorial town of Lidice in Czechoslovakia, as it was then. Very similar but a lot less remains standing. A day I’ll never forget …

Oh how sad is the village, never heard of it before, we only really know of the one in Austria. Wierdly after -7 for days the temp at this time 1.46am is 10c

We visited Orador about five years ago, as you say, you can’t imagine the horror that went on for those villagers on that day. Very sad what went on in the church, stays on your mind for a long time 😢😢

Great vlog, terrible what happened during occupation, seems like it's still happening in Ukraine, which is so, so sad, no lessons learned 😞, following you on polar steps, we did our trip to Europe this year on polar steps, take a peek if you want, not as polished as yours though, but it was a fantastic trip.
