    Good on you for clarifying the design and that it was both unlicensed and changed by adding two feet. To discuss this with the man himself he said this addition and other manufacture assembly choices result in a boat that Hobby's..

    The chain plates are embedded in the hull, which makes inspection impossible, and replacement difficult. Nice boat though.

    Very nice boat, I really do love a centre cockpit boat, especially cutter rigged. The very low walkthrough to aft cabin is a common and typical problem with a lot of CC boats. The Swedes seem to have that one sorted out, doesn't seem to be a problem on Hallberg Rassy's, Najad, Sweden yachts or Fergus. Still a beautiful boat for sure, I'm presuming modified full keel with skeg or long keel??

      Modified fin keel with skeg rudder.

    Boat looks to be in ready to go condition. Good tour, not too long, ample detail. About 8 feet too much for us.

    Great walk through with out being too long, but one question- where does the helmsman sit?

    • @MontagueCristo
      @MontagueCristo 3 года назад +1

      Likely adjacent rather than behind the helm

    We were there to see the Hans Telstar and the Choey Lee. We past by this one because of its size, but I guess we should not have. How did you get Charlotte to leave you alone. She followed us like a puppy. Sweet lady, but she would not stop talking.

    I looked at the same model boat in real bad shape . It was too much work . This boat is in great shape .

    Kelly Petterson's 44 were built in the USA and considered a better constructed Yacht . The Formosa boats were known to have quality issues with the SS used for rigging , hardware and fuel/water tanks . However , there was never a sweeter looking boat in my mind .

    First time I've ever heard of a boat referred to as a "he's a well built..." Especially when the boats name is Lorelie.

      Trying to be respectful to the boats preferred gender pronoun. :) But seriously, I did say "she" but the "s" was overpowered by the music.

    FORMOSA is one of my favorites when aft cabin windows are present thru the transom. Reminds me of the old pirates ships

      Graybeard's not the vendor, so the price could change over time.
