    We can use adverbs after linking verbs on certain situations when a location of a subject is needed to identify. Such as, Monu is upstairs = Monu (Subject) + is (Linking verb) + upstairs (adverb).
    Hope it helps everyone who has doubts about it!

    Sir , I'hv a doubt. Whether Adverb of Place can be subject complement ???
    E.g. " Rohan is here. "
    " Sohan is there."
    In these sentences , here & there act as complement , but the part of speech of "here" & "there" is "Adverb of Place".

    Sir i waana ask one more questions to you and i know you will also answer my this question as you have been answering since i start asking you😅.
    Is it ok to say a sentence like this:
    Many people have told me that i don't need to make any change in my handwriting.
    I'm really fool😂😂 when i start writing this sentence answer itself suddenly came to my mind that in 1st part of this sentence( many people have told me) we have present perfect tense so we don't need to change verb of next part of sentence. I was trying to write something in order to improve my handwriting but as i started writing i wrote this sentence 1st and while writing i got confused what should i write? Which one would be correct? Many questions were coming in my mind then i thought you are the only one who can give me reply as soon as you can. as you already know how amazing teacher you are😊. By the way , that 2nd sentence i thought could be correct is Many people have told me i didn't need to improve my handwriting.
    I know why i am going to post this comment even i got my answer but i think i should post this because you need to know important you are in my journey of learning English language.

    You are looking beautiful .
    Beautiful is adjective that is describing the subject but what is function of "looking " in the sentence?

    • @Angrezikiclass
      @Angrezikiclass  2 года назад

      Stative verb. It's not advised to use this in the continuous form.
      You look beautiful.
