Matt also met Prince William at anoter polo match and someone put him on the spot with William by telling him Matt was going to play Prince Philip and what kind of advise he could give Matt. William just shook Matt's hand and "said "Legend, he's an absolute legend." Matt told this story at a Graham Norton interview back in 2016
Matt's episodes were my FAVORITE out of the whole seasons. He did such a great job. That season was mainly about him which I loved.

This guy is unreal! I was devastated when I seen they replaced him in the 3rd season of the Crown. Due to age issues with the story going so fast...I absolutely loved him in the Crown. His Phillip was epic!
