Would you consider posting some of your saved routines from Seconds Pro? Perhaps in a screen shot or PDF type format? Thank you so much for posting your 100 days of practice, both here and in Facebook. It has been super encouraging and motivating as a professional musician.

Thanks so much for posting this, I remember seeing a video some time ago in which you mentioned this app and was meaning to go back and find the video. Also, thanks for your comments regarding rest--that makes a ton of sense and puts things into perspective. I'm an amateur comeback player just playing for fun and have limited time to practice, so I find myself lacking structure and not resting enough and not maintaining perspective in how long or hard I've been playing and maintaining perspective/reasonable expectations. I want to experiment with this app to see if I can incorporate structure into my practice and ensure I focus on everything I want to focus on, rest adequately and ensure I don't get lost in just endless scales and harmonic slurs but actually make it a point to play music, which is beneficial in determining how useful what I've been working on is, to provide a reward/reinforcement for my hardwork (hopefully). Your tone is one of my ideals--I love your version of Born on the 4th of July and I had the pleasure of seeing you play Pictures with LA Phil a couple years ago--best I've ever heard it live ever. I hadn't seen it in years and kind of got away from seeing live music or paying attention to who the current players were. To be honest, I didn't know who you were when the orchestra walked in and thought you might have been just a young alternate...until you started playing. It was very inspiring, I hadn't even been to Disney hall before. I've been playing more due to the shutdown, one positive impact. So I will try to experiment with "Seconds Pro"

What would be awesome is if it would record audio or video during each section and save it with a pre made file name. And also allow for typing in notes, or transcribing speech to text to take notes on each section as you do it for next time.

Have you always had your practice time so highly structured? Or is this a more technology-driven development?

Andrew Long I believe for the most part since college I’ve always had some sorta of structure. Tech has just made some of it easier. There is also another component to logging or tracking my practice which I was post very soon. Thanks for watching
