yeah I lost my grandfather two days after Christmas was the most hardest thing I ever done. I had the life service last Monday 9th Jan, I did actually cried twice, one on Christmas day then second one on the life service.
Sharing her memories I am sure helped alot for your grieving process and Aspen that is great you were able to not blame Drake for it because I am sure Drake blames himself for it and to know you are on his side helps for both of your healing too. As well as makes your marriage stronger. Dixie was a beautiful dog and you guys doing the memorial of her on here was so sweet it truly made me think back to when I lost my little fur baby. So sorry to hear about you loosing your dog I know what you are going through as I lost my yorkie in August last year aged 13 and it was so sudden he took kidney failure and after being diagnosed with his ailment we done everything possible to keep him comfortable but we had to make the hard decision that it was not fair to keep him if he was in any sort of pain. i feel your pain. loosing a pet is always hard, ive lost fur babies myself and was devastated, my cat jimi hendrix was lost in a fire . he was my shadow and my best friend. its been 5 years and im still grieving his loss. i have a new lil baby but i still miss him so sending gentle hugs and hopes you find peace and some semblance of joy in this time

One day when I was getting ready for school one of my dogs darted out the door and I got scared because he was running down the sidewalk thankfully my mom caught him before anything bad happened, it's scary when they're young and haven't learned to stay by their humans on the leash, I'm sorry you experienced that with Dixie🙁

I cried so much watching this, you made a beautiful and fitting tribute to Dixie. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you every single day but right now, every single hour. ❤ A little story of faith and love from me to you. ❤ Our house burned down in February 2019, on September 27, 2019 my fiance was hit from behind on the highway which sent him rolling through the grass median and into oncoming traffic. He broke his neck and was in the trauma center with a massive head injury. Exactly one week to the day later, my best friend since she was a puppy, by my side through DV and a divorce, hiking, trips, and more passed away suddenly October 5, 2019. I think my Lucy made an arrangement with our Lord, if she sacrificed her life then my fiance could stay here with me through his life. I believe Lucy also picked my Kona for me. He was born one month to the day after she passed and I found, adopted, and brought him home on Valentine's day, he was three months old. 🙏Life is FULL of miracles ✨, always look for the good in every hard situation. Our Lord teaches us during these times. ❤ I look into your dog's eyes in these videos and pictures and all I see is LOVE for you both and now your new daughter. Hey i just wanna share a little about my story. I feel it's weird it happened on January 4th, because that day two years ago my dad unexpectedly had a heart attack at work. Well jumping to today's time frame, a couple months ago a dog I co own with my mom she got out and got hit by a pickup truck (the guy didn't stop and even drove over her but not run her over). I think my dad saved his princess...! She had no broken bones but had a really good hit to the chest. She even managed to walk herself off the road to lay down in the grass ❤️ today she is completely back to normal now!!
I am so sorry to hear about Dixie. I lost my best furry friend Annabelle on April 4, 2019. When I start feeling sad about her being gone, I think of the great times we had together over the 11 years that I had her.
Losing any type of pet it’s like losing a human like an actual person. If I don’t get it once you get a dog you can never ever not have a dog in your life. I feel like once you get a dog from a shelter you’re always gonna have one. Dixie is a very cute dog when I get older and our dog dies. I don’t wanna get my own dog by myself I want one that doesn’t need a haircut because it’s just a lot of money. I love your dog so Much, we wonder the same thing about our dog I don’t know about I would say couple three years ago he would be running the streets at like 989-1011 years old and one night he ran off in the dark he was going across the road like diagonal and diagonal from our house is an oncoming traffic and I’m like please God no our dog was gone for about 45 minutes. The longest I was mad I was like no no no no my dog, but he still here I mean he doesn’t like me. He bites me and growls at me but once my dog dies, I’m not gonna have had to rub my belly on and give him cuddles do you know what our dog dies my dad and mom and me are purposely I don’t want to get another dog and if we do, I want to pick it out and pick the name I really want to get a dog for myself, but I’m gonna wait until my dog dies because he has been by himself his entire life if we get a dog now that dog food definitely not like me I’m sorry to hear this.
Aw sorry for ur loss aspen and drake and hope ur other dog doesnt grief so bad aw i no its hard losing a dog i feel sad but maybe hopefully in the future u may also help the other dog get another brother or sister cause the grief can really affect the other dog cause like humans we need each other xx

She lived a very amazing short life because of the two of you, I lost a dog my best best friend and it was hard especially because I watched her pass aswell and when we got home my older sibling just laid on the floor crys and kicking his feet saying why did you take my best friend away and it wasn’t on purpose but she was sick and had cancer in her. Never let your dog off a leash. Especially by an area where there are cars???? They can sprint off at any second. I feel badly for the people in the car that hit Dixie. Not fair to them.

Aspen and drake im soo sorry to hear the you lost Dixie and to Drake I’m sorry you had to watch her go! She lived a very amazing short life because of the two of you, I lost a dog my best best friend and it was hard especially because I watched her pass aswell and when we got home my older sibling just laid on the floor crys and kicking his feet saying why did you take my best friend away and it wasn’t on purpose but she was sick and had cancer in her. I really hope you heal fast!❤❤😢😢

Never let your dog off a leash. Especially by an area where there are cars???? They can sprint off at any second. I feel badly for the people in the car that hit Dixie. Not fair to them.
