I bet Larry can afford a mini starlink for his road trips. Keep the connections up and running. Otherwise you will lose people’s attention. Nobody wants to hear ‘can you hear me…?’ Just my $.02. Keep the good work going Herbert.
Australia IS a continent. And when will RHD Cybertruck mile (kilometre) stone happen ? My holding deposits since launch are still valid and the fine print indicates we’ll be told if there’s any change
Guys, you really needed to go over that spreadsheet together before doing the live stream. That was painful at times. Guess Larry is going to have to get a battery generator to run his Starlink while supercharging (Tesla fail). Fixable with an OTA software update or is it a hardware limitation?
Herbert was correct. FSD with Human supervision is safer than a human driver alone in terms of safety per mile. This does not mean that FSD alone is safer than a human.
56:15 I don't think you can isolate the steering in today's S3XY cars when they're in robotaxi mode. I think they're mechanically linked. Any Gearheads with input... ??
I think there are a lot of potential issues with owners of Teslas using their S3XY cars in the Robotaxi network. I’d like to see a discussion on this alone.
Tesla may be weighing that vs the transition logistics when sodium is ready to replace lithium for stationary batteries Only Tesla knows their long term schedule n strategy
Jeff was completely wrong. Supervised FSD is safer than humans now yes. But what Herbert and Elon are talking about is unsupervised. Is FSD safer than humans now, if there was no steering wheel? No. The way that Jeff and Alexandra gang up on Herbert when they are completely and utterly wrong is annoying.
Isn't the supervised eventually will turn into non? Not sure what the difference is. The safety concept lies in all the 9 cameras constantly monitoring all angles. Does not get DUI, get tired and sleep, use phone, distracted, etc. 70% of fatal accidents are due to those. If majority is using FSD, how much do u think accidents will go down. How about I insurance cost? If you only think about ME, you always miss the big picture.
I was just going to say the same thing. I normally always agree with Jeff but have to disagree with him on FSD being currently safer than humans right now if we had to roll it out as unsupervised. I’ve been stuck on v12.5.4.1 for a long time now and use it 80% of my drives and it still makes critical mistakes sometimes repetitive ones and I have to takeover. But I will say FSD with human supervision is safer than the average human driver so maybe there is some kind of misunderstanding
@@breyrey7612 the difference is that with supervised there is a driver to back up FSD and intervene if there’s a big problem. If you take away the driver (unsupervised FSD) it is less safe.
Even if unsupervised is 10x safer than humans, that means it will kill 4000 people. It's not the regulators that have to be convinced, it's the public.
I don’t know why people keep talking about licensing FSD. This shouldn’t be discussed until unsupervised is completely solved. Until then, it’ll just slow them down. Look how long it took for cybertruck FSD.
Should have put a warning/disclaimer on this video. I have PTSD from the time my CEO decided she needed to help me with revising my excel. 😂 Great video, though.
Is there a source for the claim that the Shanghai megapack output will be higher than Lathrop? As far as I've heard, it was going to be the same, at around 40GWh/yr
Are Jeff and Alexendra regularly using FSD? Today's conversation has me wondering. Supervised FSD is only safer than a human because the human is very regularly compensating for Supervised FSD.
Except they’re wrong about FSD being already safer than humans. It’s the combination of FSD with human intervention that’s currently safer than humans driving.
Why would anyone license a FSD that has not been proven? They are having a very hard time getting to unsupervised FSD. A ton of dangerous edge cases (critical interventions) that must be resolved.
I didn't pay attention to his name but the fact is that he said nothing has really changed in the past few years and TSLA is still a car company. His own opinion doesn't contribute to anything
Elon part of Trump Team will be good for Tesla especially FSD being fast tracked in cities is going to be a good 4 years. Does Elon get paid and does Tesla have to pay the lawyers that ridiculous amount or does that get thrown out with Trump now in?
Watching Herbert "working" in Excel is like pulling teeth 😂🤣😂. Jeff and Boomer Mama do not waste any opportunity to show their love for Herbert lol!
Kardashian is great free advertising! Listen to Alexandra and Jeff!

Larry stated in the video that he couldn’t use Starlink because his car was charging.

Hmm right. I see the issue with that. I think a lot of solutions may come through trust in sign up in the app. So them knowing who the rider is.

Outstanding discussion. Thank you all.
There should be a Megapack factory on every continent already, or at least started.

The argument at 23:00 is gold 😂❤️
Hi Herbert, thanks for the video again. Is it possible to share it as google sheet? so we can add feedback there too
Try his website
We need MERCH that says "Herbert, add a line..."😊

I didn’t watch yet, but, in my opinion supervised FSD has value, I would enjoy that.
Are really that clueless?

The factory is > 2x the size of Lathrop.

Jeff stated in this video that he uses FSD most of the time now.
Wish the live comments were here!🙏
For some reason it takes RUclips a couple of days before the Live Chat is shown with the replays
Get Larry a Starlink mini.
When does tesla do buy back, what you think guys?
When it’s not worth reinvesting back into the company anymore to build / grow - potentially never, but I don’t see it before at least 2030 or later.
Larry needs a Starlink
Thank you both for giving Herbert a bit of a hard time. He's been a drag when he goes off with his attitude sometimes.
Really? A drag. These guys are all friends and professionals.

Because intelligent people can read the same play.
Because it has value already without being unsupervised and by the time they actually produce them it will be.
the subsidies to batteries is far more important for tesla
FSD v14 will coincide with launch in China. 13 is a bad omen in China
