I am not sure how accurate all your information is but I do know that he failed to mention that Barbara had a son to whom she was a very loving mother. Before she died she arranged for her 3 year old son to be adopted by her close friend, actress Zasu Pitts who was not only a wonderful person but had a happy, stable marriage. Barbara’s son had a long and happy life. I don’t think either her photos or films due justice to the her beauty, sometimes it’s hard to see why she was so highly regarded by looking at them but there can be no doubt that in the flesh Barbara was an exceptional beauty even by the standards of Hollywood
