I just got off a 10-hour shift (that included shaking 15kg bags of dog food, dog pee, and screaming children) and the last thing I wanted to do was get on the mat, but I'm so glad I did, I feel so stretched out and relaxed, my mind has finally stopped buzzing, and i'm full of a gentle euphoria. Part of my contentedness comes from reading the comments section.
Thank for making such a joyful, inclusive community for us to be a part of

@@dinnersat630 :') I should have ordered those better - I worked in a pet shop, we shake the bags to give them a better shape on the shelf; shaking dog pee and screaming children is optional though frowned upon ;)

THANK YOU! Day 27 ✔️ I'm becoming less of a negligent and negative friend, and more of a caring counselor and positive friend towards my body. What I mean is that throughout my practice today, a lot of my body wasn't doing what I was telling it to do--my wrist would hurt, shoulder pain would flare up, etc--but instead of talking down and critizing them for not cooperating, I started to modify the practice and continue the flow--I didn't shame them for feeling how they did. I would counsel my wrist and ask "okay, we'll have you tried this?" And then I would go on my fist from open palm and it worked. When shoulder pain would collapse my downward dog, I changed my perspective: that my body was asking for healing because it wanted to go to the floor because it was so tired. I found what felt good and made the practice as much as I could my own while following along. And towards the end, I could feel my body thank me in shavashna; it just needed some support.I was relaxed and yawning so much. This caused me to tear up (not sure if this is due to emotional blockages clearing up or just my tear ducts opening up from all the yawning or both lol), but time slowed down so much, that I could feel the warmth of my tears as they floated out of my eyes and then became cold as they dove down the sides of my face.
Maybe because my body intelligence found the friend it was looking for all this time, because my mind intelligence is that friend to so many others, but wasn't to myself. Namaste and gratitude to everyone 🙏

After trying it quite a few times in widely different settings I still greatly disliked yoga. But with back problems getting worse during remote work I knew I needed a sustainable routine to ease it. I was recommended your videos by a sweet and dear friend and finally gave it a try. I am now at day 27. I feel strong. I have no more back pain, and I definitely feel my self love and inner peace growing overtime. Thank you so much for putting kindness and care into your videos. It translates well and has opened up my mind and heart to a new way of living - yoga ♥️

I cannot tell you how grateful I am for 30 Days right now, Adriene! My life is in a scary period of transition at the moment and I'm spending a lot of time feeling freaked out and anxious. When I hop on the mat each day for yoga, it's the only time I feel relaxed and actually remember to breathe! I enjoy every minute of every routine, and even when I'm struggling to maintain a plank I'm happy to be there, focusing on something other than the uncertain future. My current goal of mastering the crow pose is giving me something non-frightening to think about and practice. Sorry if this sounds lame but I just wanted to thank you for doing what you do and bringing some peace and much-needed relaxation into so many lives. Namaste :)

I have never commented on a RUclips video before but I felt the need after this video... I ended this short practice in tears. I am a new mom, struggling with my new "mom body". I decided to give these 30 days of yoga a try, knowing and accepting that it would take me longer than 30 days. During this "challenge" I have had two bouts of strep throat, but struck with it as soon I was recovered. I come from a very athletic family and a mom who is very fit, both things I have never been. I have always had a really hard time finding any type of exercise that stuck with me. Today, I was able to find peace and grace in this new body and overwhelming joy in the simple fact that I was actually able to stay balanced for the entire tree pose as well as actually stick with something for 27 days! Thank you, Adriene for this new sense of peace, acceptance, and even confidence in what my body can do.

In my late 20's I had developed a regular yoga practice but life and family happened and I hadn't been on the mat in years. I found myself becoming a stranger in my own body... these 30 days (well, 27 of 30!) have been amazing. The first day I had to roll over to the wall to help myself up from the floor, today I stood up from the mat unassisted with my laptop in one hand. Can't wait to start another 30 day journey!

    Adriene,
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have practiced yoga for the past two years about 2-3 times a week. I found your 30 Days of yoga early this summer. As a teacher, I thought this would be a great, relaxing challenge for me for this summer. Around day 10, I noticed what an amazing, positive difference it made for me to practice daily. I wasn't able to be totally consistent, but I know the mindfulness it helped me develop and the stress releasing benefits it brought helped me through the sudden death of my father. I believe this was a gift to me from my heavenly father, knowing the summer I faced. Thank you again,

Am absolutely loving this 30 days of yoga. I started on the 1st September after doing Adrienes complete beginner class for a week. I won't lie, some of the poses are a bit beyond me but I have noticed improvement in not just my balance and a little bit with my fitness but also with my peace of mind. After a stressful day I can't wait to escape the kids, husband and the animals for a little bit and get on the mat. Best of all Adriene makes it fun. Thanks so much Adriene!

I feel amazed, today i was able to REST in downward facing dog. Like, it was a pleasant pose, no effort. Same thing for tree pose. Thank you so much for your online classes, Adriene ♥ Love from France !

Being a yoga skeptic from the start, I have to say that you have changed my mindset completely! Today's practice was so wonderful and I enjoyed every second of it. I always have a hard time with balance poses because one of my legs is slightly longer than the other. I am so used to always having to find my center of gravity even with two feet on the ground, but today I slide into tree pose with very little effort. I can't touch my toes yet, nor do my feet reach the floor in downward dog, but I am getting there and that is all that counts. Can't wait to re-do the entire 30 days again, and again, and again, and again....Thanks for continually inspiring me to keep going on this yoga journey. Namaste!

27th day and I've been doing it daily! Looking forward to other 30 days Challenges in your channel Adriene! I used to do yoga before through videos and even went to classes. Enjoyed it then but could not seem to commit. But through this challenge, you showed me that it is possible to do it every day! It doesn't even have to be a long practice. It improved my mood too and have felt better. THANK YOU THANK YOU!

I'm excited that I'm at day 27. Seems so close now and looking forward to pushing it as far past 30 as I can. Gives me at least one time of my day where I can slow down and just let time pass with my movement. Thank you Adriene for the guidance.

When we first did tree pose, some time in the beginning, I got off the mat really frustrated, because I couldn't hold it for a single second, not even with my toes nearly on the ground. Today, my foot was at my other knee, and I didn't fall over! My balance has always been awful, so this is a major accomplishment for me, and I ended up smiling is shavasana, just thinking about how far I've come since the beginning. Thank you for making yoga so approachable for even the likes of me

Balancing has truly been the hardest to tackle for me. I've been doing yoga with you ever since I found you on RUclips about 5 months ago. Mostly the weight loss ones or the digestive flow though because I thought I needed to sweat my butt off to get any benefit. Boy was I wrong. Anyway, today I finally stood in tree pose without falling. What an accomplishment! A little shaky still but I'm okay with that. It'll get better in time. Doing yoga with you has taught me so much about myself and about the practice of yoga. I have learned to love and accept where I am at. I have finally learned to enjoy the journey and not just reach for an end result. Thank you so much for all that you do and for being the beautiful soul that you are!

I'm on day 27 and it's gone so quickly!!! I've been doing yoga for 4 decades but my practice had wittled down to 1 or 2 sessions a week as I'd come to believe practice had to be at least an hour (or more) otherwise it wasn't worth it and I wasn't doing yoga every day because of this self imposed rule. Doing yoga with Adrienne has made me realise that it's the quality not the quantity of the yoga that counts.
I've been doing this every morning before I start work (remotely cos we're still in lockdown) and it really sets me up for the day.
Thanks Adrienne for helping me to get my yoga groove back.

I was so scared at the beginning of this practice. I have a hard time trusting myself in general, so this 30 day practice was a challenge in so many ways. This felt like such a scary way to end it, but wound up being one of my favorite practices yet! I even managed to get up into crow pose for a second or two! A huge improvement over being too scared to pick my feet up at all.
Thank you so much for doing this for all of us. You've helped me build confidence in myself, and actually start to think maybe I can do yoga after all. :) I will really miss checking in every day, but I love and appreciate you doing this for us at all! See you around. :)
