- Acrylic Pour 80 - Black Golden HUGE 24" x 48" PART 1 of 2 (SOLD)
Fluid Art, large acrylic pour painting. This is a great demo of acrylic pouring for beginners. Check out my shoestring budget acrylic pour painting video for beginners also. This is my 3rd or 4th large canvas acrylic pour . I will also upload a very similar painting to this large canvas acrylic pour in a day or so as PART 2 in the series.
I really like this neutral color scheme and simple approach. The results are strikingly beautiful. I plan to do more pour paintings like this.

Do you prefer more neutral color schemes like this to my more colorful works?
Yes I was wissing the gold. Thank you. 😊
@@denizirisozbey1760 Thanks! You should check out my other videos. I have many paintings that are a rainbow of color!
Courtney Hoelscher my 6 year old did the same thing but on a smaller canvas . I think his was better because he added a bit more gold. But yours is nice
Wonderful piece! How long does it take to dry and what can I use to seal and give the end results a gloss? Art is a hobby for me, just trying to learn from others.
In abstract art it is all about how color affects the observer. Rothko used simple primitive rectangular shapes, but the color and use of contrast creates a mood. Leonardo Nierman uses a limited color palette using mostly blue, brown, orange, with dynamic sweeps and shapes, and an occasional hard object or line. Nierman is one of my favorite artists. Kandinsky the once head of Bauhaus, wrote several really good books on art, especially, I think it is called "The Spiritual in Art" my art was influenced by a beat era storyteller Ken Nordine who wrote a story recorded with jazz music background about a museum with a sound painting. I heard this when I was 15 and it stuck with me.
Lovely! I could see that in anyone's living room! Great job.
Aww! I really appreciate that!
Beautiful !! I see a gorgeous waterfall with flecks of gold. I Love it. thank you for sharing and your time.
Thanks for watching, Linda.
Finally an art peice without every color in the rainbow. Much more tasteful AND it sold. Thank you.
Yessss! I am obsessed with this masterpiece.
Absolutely gorgeous. The music also made it enjoyable. Thank you!
Great! Thank you!
I think this is a great technique u have used... Very beautiful art work ..
Thank you very much!
I prefer anything you do.........It is a great person that shares their talents to the world. I bow to the Swipe Queen.
HAHA! You are too kind, Sir Richard. Thank you.
I love the meditation style music in your videos! Don’t take this the wrong way, but they’re great to fall asleep to! Watching the art slowly take shape is so beautiful and calming and then the music - goodbye insomnia!
Thanks, Dalia! I take no offense. In fact, it was one of my students that said, "you should make a RUclips channel and do this painting to music. I love to watch stuff like this as I go to bed at night." I have tried to swing between some that are more instructional and some like these that are more entertaining. I feel they are for two separate audiences
This is just beautiful!
Thank you!!
The magic didnt happen for me with this piece. I enjoyed watching the process all the same.
Same here ... it was very interesting but I just didnt like all the white that remained and nothing came through it except for the one corner. I would have used the pearl as the swipe color it tends to give good lacing I think . It definitely started out exciting due to anticipation I think but then fell flat for me .
This painting puts me in the mindset of a beautiful cold winter's evening...I love it!!
I've actually started to be drawn to the more neutral color combinations, so watching this was so inspirational for me!!
Great! I am glad. Thanks.🙏
Look like diffrent art piece.i like thiS one.👍😊💐💐💐
Thank you!
So beautiful, and calming! The love for art, you’re so talented.
Thank you for the sweet words, Shannon! I am glad you enjoyed it. I hope you'll check out my other stuff. This video is just the tip of the iceberg. Honestly not sure why this one gets so many views. My other stuff is much better, especially my more recent work. Thanks for watching!
Shannon burgess whittle it looking alike very cool as new ideal of art. I tried my own art creating to using Halloween express small skulls bottles of color nail polishes was so amazing plus another any kinds of color nail polishes will do that. Why not trying it to course to learning some thing new won’t boring. They’ll amazing in ur eyes and enjoying as your own new color polishes artist. Believe me alike she did her new ideal something new creative so amazing. That’s would be very interesting of new colorful artist.

This is BEAUTIFUL Courtney!! May I ask what type paper you to swipe with and what are you spraying it with? Thank you so much for sharing your talent and knowledge with us!!
Thanks for watching! The paper is a cheap paper towel. The spray is water. My recipe for my paint mixture is in the description.
Very pretty nice to watch
Probably paper towels from a roll
Wow stunning
Thanks, Gilly!
Stunning,peaceful,thank you so much
Thank you. We. So glad you like it. Thanks for watching 😊👍!
Wonderful....
Thanks!
This is the first and only swipe that took my breath away! I do not like the finished appearance of swipes, however, this blows me away! Great job! Just subscribed. Can't wait to see more.
Oh that makes me so happy! Thanks for letting me know.
Thank you for sharing your time an knowledge, its very pretty...I do like it when the artist talks us through the process, usually there is a lot of shared knowledge that wasn't planed...

Thanks for watching!
Amazing to watch u create!❤
This is gorgeous, and your technique is on point! Keep up the wonderful practice!
I have a question...between swipes I noticed you sprayed something in a spray bottle...what was it?...water, alchohol?
That was just water to weigh down the paper towel a bit. Thanks for the question.
Gorgeous, love the process, the work, and the finished piece!
Thanks for watching!
Its really fannnntastic really, really fannnntastic, fabulous i don't have words.
Beautiful. Very creative.
Hi Courtney; beautiful piece! Do you use any silicone in your mix? Thanks
Thanks! No silicone. My recipe is in the description. Thanks for watching!
Have you tried using your swipe material to do your sides. After you have swiped just touch the sides with the swipe and it looks like a continuation of the swipe. A very interesting use of the densities of paint.
Hmm, like the wet paint on the paper towel? I hadn't thought of that. I guess it is already so precarious, I didn't want to mess it up. I will try it on a smaller piece to test. Thanks!

@@CourtneyHoelscher Sides need to be finished if you're not framing the piece...
@Barb Osborne The sides are finished. I just didn't get it on video. Thanks.
I liked your work very much !!!!
This brought back vivid memories of a tidal wave that I experienced. Very therapeutic to revisit that experience. Stunning painting.
Woah. Sounds scary!
This is another great piece. I do like working with larger canvas or panels. Will you finish this with gloss medium or resin? This is wonderful as horizontal hang or vertical. Thanks
Thank you so much! I am glad you like it. It dries in a semi-gloss sheen with the recipe I use. I coat some of my work in resin, but usually leave it natural.
Watching you was fascinating. The outcome was great!
Thank you for saying so. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Wow! Beautiful
Just so beautiful
Amazing 😍 I would like to know, how you add the price of the materials, must be difficult and expensive?
Thanks! It is an expensive process. Pricing art is never simple.
@@CourtneyHoelscher thank you so very very much for sharing your work.
I came upon your work quite by accident. Your work is awesome it speaks to me its a language of its own. You asked which one prefers corlorful or quiet.
My preference is strength, what is it telling me?
Each time day or night your painting changes.
You have great insight as to what art is.
Thank you again.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
Thanks for a truly absorbing and beautiful painting! You’re very generous with your time, so appreciated!
Thank YOU for taking the time to watch. I am so glad you like it!
Mitchalisia Hi, I think it's beautiful !
This technique would look awesome on an old dining table, but you would need more people to help in order to achieve it !
My mother in law has actually been begging me to do this to her table. I am considering it as a project this summer, when I can do it outside, with a resin coat on top. Thanks for watching. Glad you like it!
I find than you have a natural sense of you use of color. I like all of your color choices.
Thanks!
Onde eu acho essas tintas e quais são??
Awesome composition!!!
I just found your channel. What a beautiful painting. I'll definitely be checking out more of your work. Thanks for posting.
That is great news. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel.
Where is your channel?
Hello friend, I'm from Venezuela, I also work in the plastic arts. I am super in love with the work you did in that video .. I would like to do something like that, however, the acquisition of paintings here is impossible. Exactly what type of paint do you use? Are they all acrylic? Is there any mixture of oil with acrylic? is it possible to do that? Why is it so bright? in 2 words: IT'S BEAUTIFUL !!!
Thank you very much. I am glad you like my painting. I use all GOLDEN Artist Colors brand paint. It is all 100% acrylic, no oil. I don't know if you can find that brand in Venezuela. I am sorry to here you struggle to find the art supplies you need.
Seriously you are great with the art you create .. thank you very much for answering me .. I am your fervent follower .. it is great for me and you really do not imagine it, when I see works of art like yours and in that dimension jejejej ... more works and success dear friend ... a hug from La Guaira, Venezuela
That means so much to me. I really appreciate you saying so. Thank you for your time. Please continue to comment and let me know your thoughts on my content. I want to know what you guys want to see more of. I hope you have better luck in the future, finding the supplies you need to express yourself!
Would have loved to see more gold come through. Although pretty, this just doesn't feel finished to me. I was waiting for the boom-pow!
Thanks for watching.
Jesse Slad me too
Absolutely magnificent swipe and other techniques to establish the composition.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Increíble y hermoso. Gracias x su lección.
De nada. Gracias por ver. Me alegro de que te haya gustado.
I like your technique but I would like to have seen more of the gold in the final stage. Pity, it's like you lost the gold, wasted.
The gold definitely seems to sink but it is not wasted, I would argue. I wish you could see it in person, because it peaks through quite a bit.
Agree more gold made paintings more impressive

Thanks!
Thank you! I would like to see this painting out of the studio and on a wall in an environment - a living room or tranquil bedroom or where ever you would hang it yourself. It was lovely seeing your process, also, the music you chose is such a good accompaniment.
I saw this comment and I had to go back and watch my own video because I thought, "wait. I show all my dried paintings on an easel outside at the end of every video." But then I see that is not the case. This is an old video from before I began that practice. Fortunately, this was beautiful in the studio and out and has found a very happy home in Oklahoma.
I really like your work!! I learn lots from watching your techniques!!
I am so glad to hear it. Thank you for saying so!

So beautiful. And such beautiful paint. Very cool. I wish I was half as talented.
You should try it, Amy. All the info you need is in my videos. It is not a hard technique. Just takes experimentation, practice and time. Thanks.
I like when the demonstrator talks us through the process. Not just music
Whew Miss C.... The texture is just off the chart. Blows my mind girl. Stunning! Someday I'm gonna get courage enough to try this on a huge canvas... Someday!
It is WAY more fun on a larger scale, Nalla. Trust me.
