Forever and ever I will love my husband. This was "our song". We were married almost 32 years before cancer took him away too soon. It's been the longest year of my life without him. However about a month or so before he passed, Tim did a video for me singing this song, and my husband and I got to watch it several times together. Now everyone can enjoy it with all of Home Free joining in. This will Forever be my favorite Home Free song. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🌈💕

That's awesome, Rose. The first time I heard this song, I was on my way to report to my first active duty station in the Air Force. My girlfriend at the time had long brown hair, and the song reminded me of her (of course). After a long engagement, I married her 32 years ago last month, and this will always be her song. Thanks, HF! (BTW, Tim, my wife is a lifelong choral/choir/ensemble soprano, and she once told me, "Sopranos go out with tenors, but they go HOME with basses." Certainly true in our case!)

Turns out, it's true. My husband played this when we found out i had cancer at 39 years old last year. When my hair all fell out, he still loves me.

I can contest to this and to your marriage, my BF stood by me when at 37 i was told i had cancer myself. 2 surgeries and 7 years later i am still cancer free
I had cancer at 42 and now I’m 61. My husband shaved my head for me when I started losing my hair. It all came back only slightly thinner. He loved me til he died, 4 years ago. My cancer hasn’t come back and I pray that it doesn’t. Take care and God Bless!
Tim did a great job singing lead but the percussions coming from Adam on this one is just outstanding, wouldn't know there wasn't someone on the drums playing with them the whole time.
Do you think they had a bet going with Adam to see if he could beat box without using his hands? I don't think I've ever seen him perform without using his hands before. lol
@@lindanearing4710 I noticed that they all seemed to have their hands in their pockets. It makes me wonder if they intentionally tried not have any choreography in this one because usually Austin is moving all over the place. He can't seem to help not singing with his whole body.
The drums sound too perfect. Maybe he sampled it. Still like the song and Randy's original.
@@jayneterry8701 Adam doesn't sample. That's all him. He does use a looper to layer. But it's all Adam. He's a world class beat boxer. He doesn't need samples. Go check out Adam Rupp drum solo 2015. (Red shirt) for starters. He does harmonica sounds, castanets, amongst others and the most precise and accurate drum sounds in the beat boxing arena.

I swear the beatboxer has a mini snare drum hidden in his mouth. He is incredible.

He got a standing ovation last Friday here in Dubuque, Iowa after his solo. He's got a pretty good voice to. My wife was amazed with his harmonica sound. I was hoping to see them perform Devil Went Down To Georgia so we could have seen him do the fiddle more.

I was so happy, but my boyfriend didn't appreciate it again and yelled at me... And in the end I realized that no one can forbid me to achieve the goal. I broke up with a guy and continued to draw their portraits and now I don't regret anything

Just throwing this out there...Tim did a great cover of this with Chatham, so if he gets another long awaited fully led song, I will not complain 😃That said, I still know it's going to be an amazing song no matter the direction they take(edited) Yay!! They did it! I'm way too geeked out about this. It has been so long! Tim finally got song where he fully leads again. The others have either been really long ago like Little Red Riding Hood or just a lyric video like I've Seen. They all deserve a bunch of songs where they lead, so I'm happy he gets his chance again. I will never hear this song without thinking about Mark W. Coniff Jr. He used to sing this song along with the jukebox at the restaurant we both worked at when I was 16. I was just a kid but had a huge crush on him lol. I hope he is doing well in life and happy. I wish we could have stayed in contact but my stepfather was a snake and fed him a bunch of twisted lies about me....Mark was a totally respectful gentleman.

Two videos in a row here that they got me crying. (In a good way). Their voices just seem to get better and better all the time. Their usual extraordinary harmonies are wonderful. I wouldn't have necessarily have thought of Tim first for the lead, but as usual, their musical instincts were spot on. I've always liked this song, but I love Home Frees' cover. I have described Adam's vocal percussion/beat boxing in the past as electrifying, creative and exciting. This is the first time I've ever characterized it as pretty. I don't understand how vocal percussion can introduce a tender emotion into a song, but dang if Adam didn't do just that. It was just plain pretty. Home Frees' music is ALMOST better than sex.

Heard it twice on Patreon, didn't grab me much. Nothing much new happening in the harmonies, compared with the interesting work in "The Driver." Frankly, a disappointment. Perhaps the video will liven it up a little.

This was my daughter's favorite song. It was a welcome break from Barney! (She was 4 years old.) We have both mourned Randy Travis illness, and I am so glad to have his song recorded by a favorite group in such a happy way.
I can relate to your comment. My first ever favorite song was Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire". That was probably when I was about 4 years old as well. The song still makes me happy. So this will probably always be a favorite of your daughter's. When I first learned of the Home Free cover of my favorite I was a bit worried (I had just discovered the group). Fortunately it is an excellent cover and makes me almost as happy as the original version.
