I'm curious why do you take the risk with the ABS sensor by leaving it on the hub? Also it's better when removing old rusted tie rod to leave the nut on to protect the thread from being damaged. Also when removing the Clip, don't damage it like this, get the right tools first, if that doesn't work, gently tap both ends to loosen, then try with the circlip pliers again.... Only as a matter of last resort do you use the damaging technique shown. Also cleaning the inner hub, you should also use 1200 water paper, especially on older cars to clean thoroughly. The damaged hub should also have been fixed as that kind of distortion can cause issues and shorten the life of the bearing
