You mention that you could harmonize the melody with pentatonic voicings, could you please demonstrate the process for this? I have Fundamentals book 3 and surprisingly this isn’t a topic (only comping is for pentatonic voicings). I believe the process would be, use the primary pentatonic scale for CT’s and the secondary or sidesteps for NCT’s? (Tonisations and diminished chords seem to conflict with the pentatonic sound too much to my mind). Would you agree with that? Also… Palm trees 😌
