I was in a cross-cultural relationship back in 2018 when I met an Egyptian girl in Sri Lanka. By a rare coincidence, both of us arrived on the same day, took the same hotel taxi, had the same date of return, and had reservations at the same hotel. 😄 However, neither of us had planned for this trip. I was flying from London after finishing my studies as I didn't bother to come to India first & she came from Cairo as she had a couple of months before commencing her new job. No plans; no bookings! Just some guidance and a host of places to visit. Since, nothing had been planned, we met at the breakfast next morning and decided to utilise the following month (Sri Lanka offers a 30 days tourist visa) travelling together & sight-seeing. From strangers we grew into friends and we developed a strange connection. Both of us felt it & we opened up about it to each other. Yes, our friendship had qualified into a relationship. ❤️ It was an immensely beautiful feeling. Ethnicity, religion, race. Etc. didn't matter. However, after returning back to India (& in her case, Cairo), we found it difficult to maintain a long distance relationship. We got busy with our lives & couldn't really spend time with each other. So, we decided to accept the reality and mutually agreed to break free from what we had. (It was smooth as both of us acted in a mature manner. Perhaps, this is what relationships are all about!). 😊 Of course, we continue to be excellent friends today. We are regularly in touch with each other making bimonthly phone calls & celebrating culture and festivities together as they come, be it, Eid or Diwali, Ramzan or Dusherra. Our friendship is a blessing of a kind. 🤗 3 years have gone by since we last met as strangers. An affair followed by a break up and then this beautiful friendship that i have with her today has been a wonderful experience overall. It truly was & it continues to be one! 😊 I wouldn't say that things didn't work between us. Rather, I prefer to say that almighty God has been kind to me to bless me with such soulfully beautiful friend. Yes, she is amazing! (Egyptians are exceptionally warm people. Shukran Egypt 🇪🇬). Again by a rare coincidence, your channel popped up in the recommendation & it brought back healthy memories. Thank you so very much. I wish you guys good luck and a happy life together. 😊🇮🇳
What a beautiful message and story! Always makes us happy hearing stories like yours! 😊 and you have a really good mindset towards the relation! Wish you all the best 😄
@Harsh Raj Not really sir! Her elder sister is married to a Christian man. Religion never came in our way as long as we were together. We knew each other's families and shared a warmth during telephonic conversations. Our parents knew about our relationship and they were fine with it. Although, born in Egypt, she and her family had spent reasonable time living abroad. Thus, religion was never an issue. It was getting tougher each passing day to engage with each other. As humans, we have social, physical, emotional and psychological needs. The very institution of marriage helps provide for these needs. We really figured out that we were falling short of our own expectations owing to long distance and work commitments and it would not work for us should we continue down the same path. So, we gave it a serious thought and only after a thorough discussion we decided to call it off. But guess what? We are not only on good terms with each other but we feel really glad that we took the right call. Often times, people fall in long distance relationships and only after going a long way they realise that things aren't quite as easy as they would have hoped for. When in a relationship, there are things which should happen for greater good, "just in time" before it is too late. Good day! 😃
@Harsh Raj Not at all. We shared everything with each other (quite literally on a daily basis) while keeping our privacy intact. In a relationship, trust is extremely important. We realised, that what we had between us may not sustain after a while. We gave some serious thought on questions like - where we'd like to settle - India, Egypt or elsewhere? If moving out is not possible - how do we plan family? Who would look after the kids and how? (Parenting isn't a single person job). Meeting a common ground would have required our families to make a lot of sacrifices for which neither of us was ready. I believe, if you are aware of your responsibilities towards your parents, job or otherwise, you will remain prepared to accept realities of life, no matter how harsh. But, it was all worth it. We continue to be excellent friends. 🙂

Very cool to dampen echo use blankets hanging from the ceiling four corners with middle nice and round it will disperse sound and creat less echo. Also hanging flags or having book shelves or anything to break up any blank flat walls disperses sound waves in different directions and not back at the microphone. Foam stuff kind of works but is often too expensive and time consuming to install and only gets rid of high frequencies

I'm from India as well and planning to pursue my master's from Australia. After watching your videos and doing some research of my own, Netherlands seems like a great option as well! Which country would you recommend for immigration purposes?
For a student I would say Australia is a better option becuase there are more part time and full time job opportunities which requires fluent english. But here in The Netherlands, most of the jobs require you to know fluent Dutch.
According to my analysis, in the post covid situation, European Countries are facing labour shortages, with Germany being one of them......and more over if you are planning to do masters in the Netherlands, it would be super awsome.....cause that country is literally a melting pot of several cultures, where you will find plenty of people from different countries......and learing Dutch won't be that tough....rather enjoyable.....so do consider.....😁
