I see suggestions/complaints about my covers lacking in the lower register so I had the idea to do this one "almost a cappella," like my cover of The Longest Time where bass is the only instrument. Added the shaker for a little extra pizzazz. Hope you all like it!

I feel the same way. Jim Croce was a lot more popular in my head than he was on the charts. Wistful, sincere, original... fabulous. It was a pleasant surprise today to find Anne treating 'Time in a Bottle' to her gentle harmonies.

imagine if you could do the bass with your voice, even more beautiful than it already is? impossible
with a music software, it's not impossible for a girl to sing the bass notes. Malinda Kathleen Reese does it with a simple trick. She just sings the bass notes within her normal vocal range. Then with a music software, she tunes down her voice by 1 octave afterwards.
