Racism is alive and thriving in India. I am part Northern and part Southern and my whole life ive gotten grief from both sides about the opposite side...its exhausting. If you dont look EXACTLY like the region where you come from, you are treated as an outsider. India has had SO many invasions from different parts of the world so naturally we have babies looking different. SO you have the orthodox Indians who will treat you badly because you dont look fully south indian or fully north indian or...in this case.. if you look like you have East Asian ancestry then its full on hate. African Americans have struggled with racism and colorism so they will understand its the same in India...but this time its worse since its OUR OWN PEOPLE who are this way towards each other.. Its just pure evil.
