I am from Kolkata, and I have traveled extensively in the north-eastern states of India. In my experience, people of the region are very courteous and polite. So it seems that people who are spreading hate against them have never been to the region or even had a proper interaction with any individual from the north-eastern states.

Yeah love the music video but I feel too much emphasis was laid on the perspective of the "Mainlanders" towards NE people and a little from the NorthEast people's perspective of their Trails and Tribulations,Hardships,Discrimination,Racists remarks they faced from the "Mainlanders" and yeah basically there was literally no remarks made by the NE people towards the physical appearance and lifestyle of the "Mainlanders" while on the otherhand the content of this music video is majorly based on the physical appearance and lifestyle of the NE people.It's not a fair play !! I appreciate this Music Video and the concept behind it but majority of it was from the "Mainlanders" perspective and the video clip for the NE perspective that they have towards the "Mainlanders" is way tooo Short..Hope you guys make a better music video next time with equal perspective from both sides and where Equality exists for both!!

1.No women are judged on the basis of their clothings & they are independent to wear what they want whether its saree or jeans.
2.No dowry, no racism to great extent ( not aware coz crimes happen everywhere to smaller or larger extent).
3.People are much more conscious about saving our mother nature and cleanliness.
4. 8 states with diverse vibrant traditional attires, dances, cuisines of both veg and non-veg type and different languages like other parts of India.(traditional not western)
5. Are talented in every fields whether its western or Indian like bharatnatyam, satriya, Jagoi, bihu, etc.
6. They are aware of using #toilets from much earlier time unlike whom u know it well. We are aware of no #Lota party here.
7. Got the typical Asian look for which most Indian youths nowadays are obsessed with(korean)( are we being mocked coz u guys are jealous of us?)-sorry for being judgemental out here.
8. Moreover, before laughing at us as North East Indians, we are living here peacefully with Marwardis, Biharis, Bengalis, Punjabis and many others under the same roof for many years like brother and sister. These different communities are now permanent residents of North East India.
9.Root bridge, dozens of temples, Monestaries, Dzukou valley, Kaziranga with max. Tiger population, palaces, adventures, waterfalls, coal, petroleum, tea, spectacular orchids, Hoollongapar Gibbons(only here in entire India), One horned rhino, world's wettest place, Loktak lake and what not.(GOOGLE it coz you ain't gonna find these in any NCERT books).
PS-Because of being judgemental, adamant and having superiorty complex with scanty of knowledge and no doubt, weak geography(to those who don't even recognise northeast India), u have never seen our worth. But u guys have got so many things to learn from us(as mentioned above), and vice versa. U are just wasting ur precious time in mocking dissimilar races and nothing else. well! i don't understand why some people trying to divide india again by keeping such cheap thoughts dumbed in their heads....its not just about northeast or some other states, why some people don't understand that we together are called INDIAN....and the irony is people from far off places have much better informations about northeast than our own people...and one should feel proud because of the difference in one country that's what proves our identity as "india is a diverse country with a mixture of different languages,traditions and religions" p.s.- just stop fighting to prove ones own superiorities and try to live with harmony,mix up your thoughts as INDIAN not as northeastern,southern,northern, blah blah....and along with this everyone should be aware about each state and should respect them equally... i being an INDIAN do respect each and every state of our beautiful country,respect everyone's religion and tradition and well i am obsessed towards learning different languages...(there's nothing to get offended hopefully)

Anurag Dutta We could never imagine of being like them at all. We are happy with who we are. Its the dark truth that we North East Indians are facing these horrible bullies every now and then for some shitty perception. Even if they're found guilty, the truth has always been veiled in one way or the another by some unreasonable excuses and justice has never been done. May be they know what the truth is but maybe they're lying to themselves. Be proud of us bro that humanity still exists in us. Inspite of all these , we have no hatred towards them but we want to know the reason why this discrimination is? Why u folks can't love us the way we love y'll?
