"Dreams Come True" is originally a song by S.E.S. Now you wonder who they are, right? Well S.E.S were the first SM girl group that debuted in 1997, "Dreams Come True" was released in 1998 and is one of the biggest hits of the group because of the fairy and futuristic concept of the MV. This time Aespa did a remastering of the song for a new STATION.
S.E.S.'s "Dreams Come True" is actually also a cover, the original original is a 1996 song called "Rakastuin mä looseriin" by a Finnish pop duo Nylon Beat. I really hope this aespa version becomes big, so we can get a cover of a cover of a cover. 😁

The song: 멋 is a Korean word without a direct English equivalent--real, style, and cool are attempts to catch the meaning, but it has an underlying idea of honor, so it's about how what's really cool is to be humble and kind. (This is the heung version--the original version was their Kingdom finale.)
The video:Appears to be based on Volcano High, a popular Korean movie in 2001 about a transfer student with special powers who ends up at a school with warring factions who are trying to find a book of power. Ateez's twist--The book they find when they work together is essentially a book of morality, a book about 멋. (If you want more details watch Form of Therapy's reaction).

As someone who began as an exol and then also became an nctzen, it's so true that NCT also bring a great quality of music.
NCT U for the 🏆 !!!!! Aespa’s song is a remake version of an old song by S.E.S., SM’s first girl group. Back in the day, quite a few songs by SM artists included weird/inaccurate English lyrics. Just watch some old videos by H.O.T. or DBSK and you’ll see what I mean. Even EXO’s early songs like MAMA have some random English lyrics that don’t really make much sense.

"GO POWER RANGERS!" was exactly my reaction to that part of The Real MV. 🤣 Everything looks complex AND complete in this one, you can't help but like it even if you're not a fan of anime/fighting themes. And I personally think they burned the stage with this performance in MAMA.

This is actually a remastered version of S.E.S's Dreams Come True. S.E.S was one of the legendary groups back in the 90's in Korea.

But I got different valid info: So SM and Nylon both bought the copyright for the song Dream Come True to the creator at the same time, so Nylon and S.E.S are the same original singers.
But the releases are different years, Nylon was released first, while S.E.S was released later, so many people misunderstood that S.E.S remake Nylon's song even though it didn't, because SM bought the copyright to the original/original creator instead of buying the copyright from Nylon.
So basically S.E.S doesn't remake the song Nylon, S.E.S and Nylon are both the original singers dream come true.
The case is different from Next Level, for the next level, SM bought the copyright from Aston, so the case is correct, whether it remake Next Level from Aston's Next Level
