Mate, joy is an experience and emotion that is in short supply. It may feel like there is a hole left in all of you with Simon's passing, but with time you will remember the joy that he brought into your lives, and that joy can never be lost. As long as you remember the joy he created and shared with you all, he'll never be gone.
I had never heard of him till he passed away. Looked at his channel and its absolutely brilliant. So sorry to hear he was taken far too soon!!! Very brave of you to make this video and condolences to all his friends and family.
Thank you Steve. That couldn't have been easy. Respect to you. We are all going to miss him, even those of us who never met him in person. Regarding ASBO, I can only talk from my own perspective but if it is never finished and the ticket sales/project assets are absorbed into Simon's estate, so be it. Take care and please pass on my best wishes to his family.
I never thought I could miss someone I never met in person this bad . Quckie came across as someone who would walk in your Door , and fit right in . His exuberance for Life shone out for all to see . R.I.P. Simon . My donations for Asbo go to the Family . Thanks Steve .
He was a lovely bloke, he was my team leader at Orange, I came in still drunk from my friends wedding the night b4, I couldn't get leave for the following day, I rolled my chair over to him and explained, he said get yourself home to bed, I'll tell Jen, who was ops manager at the time, that your pipes have burst and you needed to get home. R.I.P Simon ❤️
I will be ridding down on the 24th to pay my respects to an awesome guy i have never met Simon but he feels like a brother to me i will be setting off from Manchester at 5am anyone who wishes to join me let me know 🏍️
well done steve that must of been hard .anyway i am really gutted as i loved this channel he was a great guy .u tube wont be the same without him R.I.P simon god speed 💔💔💔
Man, Steve-O, I'm gutted for you Haven't watched anywhere near so much RUclips recently, but you guys on this channel were there for me when I was recuperating from a little deer hunting incident (killed Bambi with a motorcycle)... Being into antique motorcycles, especially cruisers, I wasn't here for Japanese bikes turned into Cafe racers - it was good guys doing good work. Godspeed Simon, best all your family, and your friend Steve! -William
So sad RIP Simon I loved your videos will miss them so much I know how much you wanted to finish it love and best wishes to all your family and friends laters 👍
Words cannot express my feelings. Suffice to say my tears can. My donation must be used for the family in whichever way they choose. Well done mate, that can't have been easy.
It was freezing today on the bike but went out in simons memory coz we talked about the bandit coz I’m doing the same I’ll miss you simon god bless you Austin 🏍
Thank you for all the comments, i think thats the hardest thing i have ever done... every comment means alot... i eish i could do him justice but i dont have the words
Steve’o thanks for the tribute to your best mate,I never met him but followed his channel and I feel like I’ve lost a close friend too, Ithink any money should go to his family and you should finish and keep the bike in his memory.
Well done buddy, hard to do I know, but you were obviously good mates, saw you so often on the channel. Simon was a great watch, and it was very obvious that he loved what he did. Like other comments above, I threw a few quid into the ASBO project, hoping I’d win, but knowing unlikely, so just looked at it as supporting the channel. If it came to a vote, I would say give the money to Heart charity .
he was a good laugh... and trying to catch him filming to make as much noise as I could. just looked back at the mill video rebuild and made me laugh how much he was kicking him self when I just finger it out just like that. I cant believe its been 2 years scene he rebuilt it. going to miss his passion for every thing he put it his mind to and meant something to him.
Well said and thank you. I really enjoyed Quicky and learned some stuff on the way. I believe he was one of those blocks you would get on with straight away and enjoy his company. My thoughts are with his family and friends. 👍
thanks for that mate must have been hard for you.watched channel from the start .loved how simon would always reply to every comment and loved a bit of banter, will be missed by many. love to all his family RIP simon
Well done mate I never knew you or Simon. Lovely tribute to a lovely guy. Cant have been an easy thing to do. Well done again and I hope Sam and all his friends and family The very best.
Thank you. Very good point about the will and all that ... I would like to see the bike finished as i know quicky would have liked that .. with his original exhaust on it hahahah😅 cause it looked beautiful 😊
I'm sure most of us know your gonna miss ya right hand looney a hell of a lot Steve. I had 2 tickets for asbo however I couldn't give a flying what happens to that mate . I'm gonna miss him . Thanks for the update on how . Take care Steve. Respect
RIP Simon Quickly! I didn't buy a raffle ticket for Simons bike but even so, I think it would be an awsum gesture from all who bought one if it could be agreed to pass the money taken, on to his family, if for no other reason than to remove any worry his family may have, because a lot of the money may now be gone, having already been spent on buying bits for the bike
Wondered why no new videos. This was a real shock. The worst news possible. Didn't know him but he seemed a real genuine guy. My thoughts are with his family and friends. I'm stunned.
hi mike here i am so very sorry to here the sad news simon passing away, he will be mist by every biker on here, he was a wonderful bike builder and a friend although i didnt get to mean him it felt like i none him for yrs am starting to fill up now so RIP Simon god bless you thanks mate 😭😭😭😭👍
Really appreciate the video, Simon will be hugely missed by all. Great chap and great channel. There definitely shouldn’t be any pressure for the build though, the family should just do what ever they need to do. Wishing them and you all the best.
I wasn’t aware of his channel until Craig at the dog house posted about his passing. I’m sorry for the loss of your friend. It’s a truly heart breaking thing to loose someone so much before their time. My give my love and condolences to all those who are affected by his passing. Remember the good times and celebrate his life and memory. May he rest in peace.
Never met the man, only know him through YT. But the guy always had me glued to the screen, what a character. I wish I would have met you, you seemed to be a genuine proper person. I will miss your videos and my prayers and thoughts to the folks he has left behind. Rest in Peace....
Dam, this was... hard to qatch but Im sure he would approve. He was an amazing guy. Hope you and Sam get the help and suppirt you need. I met you both once back in the racing days and man... seeing Quickie on the channel and chatting to him made me feel like I lost a mate when the news came out Fair winds and Clear roads to you Simon mate.😂

Well said Steve. I lost my best friend and racing buddy several years ago and still miss him so I hurt for you. I looked forward to each video coming out. I loved his carefree attitude and laugh while he was working. Rest In Peace Quickie.
Please give my condolences to Sam and Jake please. That was a brilliant tribute to a guy who I only knew through a video channel but i know you knew a lot better, chin up mate and i know everyone will help anyway they can.
I lived in Cornwall for 25 years and if I could be there for him I would. But living in Finland I just cant get away, and if ever the bike dose ever get finished and I was to win, I would want it sold and the money given to the family. I think most people would say the same. RIP Si will miss your fun videos.
Can’t believe he’s gone. The effort he put into his build and the sheer detail he went into was unrivalled. He will be missed. Condolences to his family at this time. RIP man…
Mate, that was a tough thing to have to do & much appreciated. So many of us are going to miss tuning in every week to see Simon tackle his projects (I even catch myself saying “come on” now when something doesn’t fit, turn or unscrew etc & keeping calm like he did😊) All the best from Australia Stevo & thanks again for this vid
Lovely tribute Steve. Like others have said, if it can be done I’d far rather my ticket entry went to the family. I know it’s still early days but if any help is needed regarding moving stuff etc I’m in Plympton so I’m more than happy to help.
Words cannot express the huge loss to the motorcycling community. I sincerely hope that all will join me in saying no one gives a fuck about the bike whatever happens, happens Simon cannot be replaced and I for one will sincerely miss his cheeky delivery and unique approach to his videos, they were always well worth waiting for. Rip Simon you will be sadly missed hope your on the highway to heaven.
What a loss, condolences from the US. Quite the inspiration in my own shed, thanks for sharing with the motorcycling/machining/fabricating world Quicky. My heart goes out to those left behind, such an immense personality will certainly be missed by those who knew him best. Take care and RIP.
Awwwwwwwwww shit man I’m so sorry to hear Simon has passed away 😢 I loved everything he done and had a great sense of humour, just as sick as my own. He was a daydreamer with the energy and vision to make those daydreams reality and a pleasure to watch as partly planned, partly improvised ideas were brought to life. He will be missed.
Surreal....! Thank you for that Steve.. I keep checking in to this Chanel and find it hard to believe he is really gone.! Only have to click on any of his other videos...,and there he is !....,full of life..,full of fun..,full of banter...,and full of ideas to share with us all and keep us hooked and coming back for more... Please accept my sincere condolences which go out to you and all who loved him.. God bless and draw near to each other at this time of shock and loss... RIP Simon.. BG.

Rip Simon you will be sadly missed hope your on the highway to heaven.

A sad loss.

I'll miss his upbeat cheery nature who never failed to lift the spirits of his RUclips viewers.
Respect for your courage in making this video as you are obviously still grieving for the loss of your good friend. I hope you, Sam and his family will accept some sympathy and best wishes from, no doubt, yet another random viewer.
I found the channel by accident but was drawn in by Simon / Quicky's good natured chat, good humour and obvious care for those close to him. He was a daydreamer with the energy and vision to make those daydreams reality and a pleasure to watch as partly planned, partly improvised ideas were brought to life. He will be missed.
R.I.P. a true gentleman you will be missed by us all respects to family and friends.
Respect Stevie, thanks matie. RIP Simon.
Massive respect stevo. That must have been a difficult video to make. Love to the family

Stevo, a very touching tribute to your best mate.
As for those people asking about their money, tough luck, buttercup. You gambled on a raffle, and one of the outcomes is one we never wanted to happen. Have some respect for Sam, Jake, Stevo, and Quicky.
Hard video to make chap well done ..
RIP Simon 😢
Best Wishes
That must have been so hard for you Steve. Well done on Sam's behalf and family too. Those of us followed a man who we never met but who had become much more than a You tube personality, but much more a friend. We will miss him, his happy personality, silly giggle, his "worserer" use of words.🙂 All his touches of humour and the fact that he could lose so much stuff within the walls of his workshop always made me chuckle.
Days after hearing the tragic news I'm still gutted and shocked. I can't believe we'll never see him again. I hope he realised how many people around the world not only followed him but admired him. He often said " this is not a teaching channel" but he taught people a lot. Not just about bikes and workshop practices but also about how to be a thoroughly good and decent human being, all presented with a touch of humility. A true gentleman. For Sam, Jake, and all his family and close friends like yourself it's so hard to lose someone so suddenly and unexpectedly leaving you shocked beyond words. I sincerely hope Simon didn't suffer. I also hope that, given time, Sam will come to know just how much her man was liked and respected by his fans.
The world is a sadder place without characters like Quicky.
What a great tribute. Tragically a great man taken far too soon. Heavens gain is our loss. Bet the twisties there are wonderful
So sad and shocked to hear of Simon's passing RIP mate xx condolences to family and his many friends.
