For someone who's currently a classical pianist, what skills do you recommend learning to be able to play worship piano? Thanks for sharing!

great question. I'm also actually classically trained, and I'd say the biggest challenge would be breaking away from playing sheet music, and being more comfortable with improvising from chords on a lead sheet. This took me a LONG time, so don't be afraid to sit down and just TRY different things, listen to how chords interact to each other etc.

would you mind if i displayed your comment and username in a future video? (let me know if you want me to blur out your username) This is a great question and i have too much to say for it to fit in a comments section!
