What Did You Think Of This Mock Draft? 🤔
Well done and well reasoned. Your only mistake I noticed was when you described the Patriots as a “not good team with holes everywhere “. They had a top ten defense while losing their two best players with injuries, who will be back next year. The defense is excellent…it is the offense and special teams that suck.
I think if the jets were to draft the tackle from Penn they would have traded back first
Casually trading yourself Drake Maye is crazy
Love it, I really appreciate the level of analysis in every pick, because free agency really rocks the boat, and makes reading the tea leaves a lot more difficult
@@aaronmorton6644 Yeah but honestly I’ve been seeing a ton of analysts start mocking Jayden Daniels over Maye, and after Washington, it’s a free for all. New England could certainly be gun shy after Max Jones disaster, trading down certainly would not be out of character
As a pats fan, trading out of #3 for 2 tackles would be the most pats thing ever
*If they trade out with the Vikings…they should 1000% select a Left Tackle and Wide Receiver with their two first round picks. Then grab a young QB to develop in either the 2nd/3rd/4th round. They’ll also have the additional pick for next years first round.*
Honestly it’s best if they do, their roster is terrible and adding a young qb will just destroy their development. It’s a story as old as the nfl
This guy is clueless Bryan Thomas Is a bust
I think he's right about trading down, but I think they take JJ if he's still there at 11. Belichick isn't the GM anymore ya know?

Thank you Alan!
Bengal, Joel Klatt, and Football Analysis mock drafts within one day? Must be christmas
Honored to be mention with those two 🫡
If the Patriots does this, everyone in that draft room is getting the pink slip.
I was thinking the same. If you trading out of the top 3 pick were great talent is available you better still be in the top 10 and to 11 and 23 is not enough for a draft this top heavy and deep!!
fr, and the smartest thing to do is just get maye/daniels, wr in round 2 and/or 3 (depending on what tackles present themselves) and let the qb sit behind brissett for at least half a season and make sure you're not throwing them into an awful offense
Eliot Wolf, the acting GM has said he’s actively willing to trade back for more picks to accumulate more talent
@comeintotheforest I'm a Patriots fan and I understand the trading pick to get picks but to spend the picks on 2 tackles in the 1st round is not smart at all. Picking a tackle and a WR makes sense but not 2 tackles especially when the Pats resigned Mike Onewu and he's going to be the tackle on the right side.
Yeah no chance the Pats do that trade. Vikings are moving up for JJ
I don’t entirely agree with the mock but I don’t think any mock, including any I do is perfect and I respect the hell out of the work that went into this. 32 teams worth of research let alone hundreds of draft prospects. This was quality, well thought out content, genuinely. Great video!
Thank you!
Vikings fan, we're not trading 3 first round picks just to get to number 3. The two firsts and a later round pick in 2025.
Having Cincinnati have to trade a third round pick to get JC Latham is ridiculous. He will be there and if he’s not Mimms will be there in a few other guys no matter how the chip ball they are not trading or moving back or doing whatever with that first pic
Agreed. Also add to the fact that cincy never trades out of their first round pick. They aren’t trading up.
@@GeorgeWKush-lr3uland even in the extremely rare universe we make a 1st rnd trade… it’s 100% for Bowers!
Sorry but wishful thinking on your end. Pats are not trading out of the top 3. Enjoy JJ
Also Troy Fautanu makes no sense for the Pats. He’s likely to move to guard or center in the NFL. We need a LT, not a guard… Brock Bowers would have been the better pick. Pats need weapons
This guy is a joke ADONAI MITCHELL IS BEST RECIEVER IN DRAFT
Pats are very likely to trade. Eliot wolf, your acting GM has literally said as much. He’s talked about just HOW willing he is to trade back for extra picks, that that’s the whole reason it gets so much steam.

To be honest, I was so excited when this video came out.
Most realistic draft I’ve seen all year great work man!
Thank you so much!
lol at the previous mock where you had my Bears reaching for Mitchell at #9 😂
Verse is a lot closer to what I see them doing although trading down so they can get Newton or Murphy for 3-technique and a Center to either learn under or compete with Shelton.
W video and Keep up the great content
I love your stuff man I try to watch everything you put out! I think you doing a mock with Connor and Trevor on NFL Stock Exchange would be sweet
Love their work. Would be an absolute blast
Great work! Your mock is a worst case scenario for my Bears with Nabers and Odense unavailable. I LOVE Verse and his penchant for run defense will be valued greatly in Eberflus’ defense, but I could also see the Bears trading back or going Bowers in this scenario.
Thank you!
Awesome analysis, appreciate the details about each teams' situation for the 2024 draft.
I concur re: Cooper DeJean, CB from Iowa as Green Bay's pick at #25.
That is a very plausible pick.
However, DeJean may go before #25 -or- GB could trade down.
“We are not going to overthink this” such a breath of fresh air in the peak of draft fatigue season. Thank you for just making the sensible picks instead of being bored and doing random crap for views

Sick video
You really think the Bills would be prioritizing WR over depth in the defensive secondary, with Wiggins and Nubin still on the board at their pick?
absolutely, as a bills fan we made it all the way to the afc divisional with 7 starters out, the scheme in buffalo essentially works with anyone, our wr room is looking super dense and i personally love keon more than franklin but thats my opinion
As a Bills fan we desperately need a 2nd outside receiver
I like this mock very logical and conceivable I can see this happening....we need rounds two and 3
👀
Yes
I’m curious which wrs will make it to round 2/3.
Only bangers 🔥

Seattle passing on Jhonny Newton and Rams picking him up is the most disggusting thing I have to stand today 🤣
the saints never trading back in the last like 15 years, FA: yeah there trading back
If the draft board falls that way to 9, I don't see a situation where Bears stay at 9 and draft Verse. If they trade down to say the mid teens, almost guaranteed that one of Verse, Latu or Byron Murphy will be available. Obviously this depends on one of these teams wanting to trade up.
On Justin: I was in the Caleb camp when we got the #1. I love Justin as a fan but I recognize his faults. He's slow on the drop back, slow on the read, slow on getting the ball out. Each "slow" is only a little bit but each one compounds. I wish him well.
@beads2011 I hear this take, but I think it's overblown. With NFL coaching, NFL WRs, and NFL OL, I think Caleb will absolutely be more decisive. He played hero ball because he had to and was BY FAR the best player on the field in most games.
The draft haul the Bears could have gotten would have put them in unprecedented territory of picking for YEARS likely in the top 10. Especially if Caleb didn't work out for that team. That's what I was worried about as a Lions fan. Now the Bears will be better but won't be able to easily snag generational talent for the next few seasons regardless of team success.
@@wlnlax14you should be more worried there defense was tearing yall up last honestly you guys shouldve gotten swept by the bears. If im being totally honest with caleb added to the team and the packers getting better i think you guys finish second in the division next year and go second round exits
@teddrickhargrave we played poor against the bears, I'll give you that. But I doubt that's how this year shakes out. I'm willing to let the play talk for itself, I'll see you back here early 2025 to see whose right 🤙
I like the double O line pick for the Patriots… they aren’t going to be good this year no matter what, they need to set the stage for whichever QB will be playing for them in the upcoming years. Building a great O line to support a young QB is probably their best bet, let the guys play together and mesh so they’re a cohesive unit by the time the next franchise QB comes along
as a pats fan it just doesn't make sense with how hard it is to acquire a qb, you basically HAVE to draft one. and you almost never get a shot at guys like maye/daniels and next year isn't aa particularly strong qb class. worst case scenario, build the rest of the offsense in the draft and let the qb sit for a season
16 team superflex dynasty. I have 1.01, 1.07. I have Trevor L, Howell and Aidan O. Should I trade the 1.01/4.05/4.10 for the 1.02 and 2.03?
Enjoy your videos, respect your opinion, really doubt bengals trade up though, it's just not something we do, especially with the brown signing, can see us just sticking about if we think mims or Latham falls
To those complaining about the trade for pick #3:
1. Eliot wolf, acting current “GM” for the pats has stated his willingness to trade back for picks
2. There’s considerable buzz among NFL insiders linking the Vikings and Pats, it doesn’t take much to find the people talking about it.
3. All Vikings journalists nearly without fail are projecting an attempt to trade for anywhere from picks 3-5, so it’s hardly a revolutionary idea.
No matter what YOU think is smart, that is utterly immaterial to the act of mock drafting. It’s trying to GUESS what will happen, and not about pretending that you’re an NFL caliber scout and expert in drafting and trade values.
Love the Hawks finally having a quality Center since Max Unger.
Probably one of the best if not the best mock I’ve seen so far this draft season.💪 Only comment I have is maybe the jets reach for a WR like AD Mitchell or Brian thomas jr
Thank you Dylan!
@@FootballAnalysis1 you were right to not to take a WR for the jets since they got the Williams
As a saints fan first of all no way we trade back. Second of all no way we take a wr even if we did. Shaheed and perry can grow and we can't have another season of carr taking so much pressure. We're getting a tackle. Our free agency proved that.
The Pats won’t trade out of 3. The best the Vikings can get is 4 or 5. Regardless, they’re getting JJ.
Better Mock than Mel Kiper could ever do. No complaints, everything made perfect sense. 🙌🏿
Thank you! Mel is the OG 🐐
Might be a stretch but Cush, Skoronski, and Alt (under Brian Callahan) take the Titans from a bottom 5 line to a top 5 line if we can get the same average play at RG and find a serviceable bridge RT
Illini football is on locally nearly every weekend where I reside so I saw a lot of Newton.
He’s very disruptive when he’s on his game. He seems to be in the backfield a lot. Would love to see him do well in the NFL.
I think the DeJean fit for the Packers is even better than this video suggests. The thing with DeJean is he could probably play anywhere in the secondary, and that's exactly what a team in Green Bay's position needs. Let's say they do figure out the second boundary corner spot with Stokes and/or Carrington Valentine, well then DeJean can move inside and push Keisean Nixon for slot/nickel reps. And if Nixon takes a jump and locks up the nickel spot, well, a lot of people think DeJean profiles better to safety and that second safety spot is wide open. Especially with a new DC, having a guy you can move around would be huge.
Whether he actually lasts to 25 in the real draft, however...
Next time can u do pick 33 as well. As a panthers fan, it is an important pick for us and i want to know what u think
people’s pre draft skepticism towards keon coleman reminds me a lot of george pickens sliding into round 2 after being the wr1 in that class for a while
What website is this for the mock drafts?
Pff. Gotta pay for it smh
Love Zach Frazier for the lions as a future guy, even tho we just signed a guard
I wouldn’t be surprised by the pick but I’m personally still hoping for Chop Robinson
@@motownkittens4905 I think id also take chop over frazier, just saying he will be an excellent replacement for Frank Ragnow in a year or maybe 2
As a Raider fan, picking between Fuaga, Arnold, and Mitchell would be a great place to be
I agree the Steelers need a receiver, but I think they should take a center at 20 and wait until round two to get a receiver
I made a comment how he's ignoring the steelers problems on the o-line, having no Center and the lack of them bringing in any FA o-linemen for visits is pointing to that their plan is to draft an o-linemen early in the draft. I'd go C or T depending on who is available at #20
Why would the Pats trade out all the way to 11 ? Even if they don’t go QB why would they pass up on the consensus generational WR1 ? They need both QB & WR but pass up both to trade back to 11th ? You said the Giants was in similar position have them taking WR3😂 Sound like a Vikings fan whose in denial that yall are trading up to 5 for JJ McCarthy 😂😂
Actually it does make sense, when you got all those holes on your roster 1 elite player is not gonna help your team. It's wiser to get multiple good players instead
@@sebastianbryant1414 no it’s not lmao passing up on a generational WR & a QB3 in a 3 QB draft when both are position of need & both are premium positions isn’t smart at all 😂😂😂 it’s overthinking the situation. If you’re hell bent on trading back & getting more assets you can’t do that in the 2nd round especially since you have a early 2nd. You can flip pick 34 for multiple picks. I’m not even a patriots fan it’s just was funny how he made sure to trade out so his favorite can get Drake Maye 😂
Because you would get a haul and more picks to fill out the holes on that roster
@@ggo7269it’s a mock draft it’s not that serious
@@IDKWhatToPut8884 so I can’t critique his mock draft ? Pull down ya skirt
Surprised nobody has talked about the idea of the falcons moving down. Seems a pretty easy choice to me. Get extra draft capital and still get a good pash rusher later in the first round
The worst thing the Patriots can do is trade down to build fill out non-QB holes in the roster. We already know what that teams looks like they are called the broncos. A great defense with good skill players. They aren’t good enough to make it to the playoffs, but aren’t bad enough to get a top QB.
I agree with not forcing McCarthy to the Giants, and thus I think the Giants will be the ones trading with the Vikings to get McCarthy and not give up as much, maybe 2 1st and a 5th for #6 and a '25 4th
Mitchell CB1?? I would have gone Arnold to Pittsburgh. His man coverage skills are unmatched!
Quinyon is my CB one this year. I hope the Steelers either get him, JPJ, or a OT.
This is the most homer pipe dream vikings fan mock draft in existence 😂😂😂
I dont think Drake Maye is nfl ready. I hope Washington takes him and lets him sit for a year like Love Rodgers and Mahomes.
As a Pats fan, if Maye is there, I'd take Maye if he's there but if Caleb and Maye go 1 and 2 respectively, then I'd trade back
Thank god you gave the Eagles the corner they needed, Bradberry needs to be cut even with the unreal cap hit. Perfect world I’d love to see them trade up to get Quinyon Mitchell, but Arnold and not losing any draft capital works well too. My personal Eagles mock looks like:
22.) Terrion Arnold
50.) Edgerrin Cooper
53.) Roman Wilson
120.) James Williams
161.) Zion Tupuola-Fetui
171.) Drake Nugent
172.) Jawhar Jordan
210.) Sione Vaki
I somehow always mock Roman Wilson to Philly
As an Eagles fan I am praying for Mitchell. Maybe Howie makes something happen.....I'd rather trade the draft capital and get Mitchell
@@sherwood1897 he’s like a shorter Cooper Kupp
@@andrewmohrmann3599 Fr
Alt to the Chargers would be great, but now I’m worried about WR too. Quentin Johnston needs to step up this year. Palmer is solid but probably not a legitimate WR1.
JJ is going to the Vikings, for sure whether the chargers trade up to them or whatever, JJ is going to Minnesota.
Love the mock but I think the lions are going to get chop Robinson too me it makes a lot of sense I could see center being drafted next year for sure though
I think Frazier is a likely pick. I personally like Darius Robinson at 29, but ideally we trade back for a team looking for a 5th year option on a QB, and we take D. Robinson, a good OLine prospect, and a 3rd round corner. I just think the character fit is ideal for D.Robinson to the Lions
Bears should trade back 5-6 spots at 9 to get the center. Also feel like in a larger mock/ real life, the Ravens probably trade back, probably to the Pats who would force a first round QB at that point
This Marvin Harrison, Witherspoon rivalry is going to be crazy
Must see tv
Trey Lance needs a chance to start this year.
He clearly is not ready and would be a deer in headlights. His priority is to have a good preseason and see if he can even be a solid back up before he can think of stealing someone's job
He’s never going to start ever again he sucks
I mean it’s lot like Dak is going to take them to a Super Bowl anyway, might as well
Just say hypothetically Cowboys wanted to start Lance. What could they get for Dak?
Yeah for eagles it's Arnold or Wiggins for what's available
For the patriots 23 pick I like laiatu Tati bc they have 2 firsts and should take a risk it could be the difference between them being a Super Bowl contender down the road or just a playoff team if it works out
the pats/vikings trade would be a big gamble... no day 1 pick next year an and i dont know they sign big free agents. they pay jefferson(rightfully) and could not hold hunter this off season... so all succes depends on jj and the rookie qb like most time in the last 2 seasons
Still thing the Lions draft Frazier after signing G Kevin Zeitler?
My personal take: the Giants are nabbing the best pass catcher at 6 they can (presumably Odunze or Nabers, though some people have Nabers above MHJJr now). It could also be Bowers if Waller retires too
That frees them up for QB in the 2nd round or even the 3rd, which could be Nix, Penix (if 2nd). Could be Rattler as well if they like the value in the 3rd round
Either way if the Giants go WR/QB/OL as their first 3 picks in some order, I'm happy
I think the Giants have more talent than people realize and getting Burns was huge. I also think they go WR.
For the Vikings I think they made a trade to make a trade for sure but I think they are going to send 1.23 and Justin Jefferson to the Bengals for 1.18 and Tee Higgins.
Every year the QB class gets played out to be deeper than what it really is & 1 or 2 qbs get selected much higher than they should be. I think Jayden Daniels is getting that treatment this year, should be a middle to late 1st round prospect imo.
Kenny was overdrafted and maye and Jj will be as well
Love your stuff but the pats aren’t trading the 3rd pick and then selecting a guard at pick 11. I know you’re a Vikings fan and also love Maye so I think you have your Vikings goggles on
Not JC Latham again! We have too much bad luck with BAMA 1st rd Tackles for that to be the pick. Wasn’t Andre Smith & Jonah Williams enough for y’all to say we need to avoid that school!?
1st Rd. BAMA Bengals:
Jonah Williams
Dre Kirkpatrick
Andre Smith
Sam Shade
and John Copeland
Non of them worked out. Bengals & BAMA 1st rd Picks don’t Mix!
What is this site called if I want to do it
As a Lions fan, I’m low-key worried about the Bears. They’re stacking that team up very nicely. Coming away with Jared Verse and Caleb Williams would be a great draft.
Vikings fan. We can see the writing on the wall. We have to upgrade QB play cuz the North has improved tremendously. And, yes, it would be an awesome draft for the Bears. Man, I hope Kwesi doesn't whiff on that draft pick!!!
I would be truly shocked if the Saints traded down for the first time since 2007 (first time in 1st round since 1997) but if the board falls that way and they are unable to trade up for Fuaga or Fashanu, I could see it.
I dont see a world where the commanders dont bundle some picks and move back in the first round for a OT for their new QB. Thoughts?
Maybe next mock we’ll see 👀
I like this idea a lot
I don’t think the Bengals would need to move up for Latham.
This guy knows his stuff.

Lions addressed OG in FA I doubt we go that way 1st. I see us grabbing the best corner.
the Saints have traded up for like the last 10 years we do not trade down (ever) lol

Giants going QB in the 1st that’s a lock 💯
Patriots aren’t trading away their pick to the Vikings; that has to bit of fandom thinking 🤔
They have historically traded back to accumulate picks almost annually
@@andrewmohrmann3599Bill Belicheck did that, and never with the #3 pick, this completely is foreign territory for us, doubt they waste it
@@Kyle-bi7df True, this is the first true full year down and rebuild in decades. A top flight starting QB is usually the play, but I don’t think it’s insane to think they know this isn’t a one year fix, and the more picks the better the chance to turn things around sooner. We’ll see soon
My guy is a Vikings fan and pushed through an awful trade by the Patriots. 😂
As a Bears fan, I prefer Daniels. But the Commanders have a chance to grab a player that reminds me of RG3 but more polished, and he could be the qb that RG3 could've been.
Staying healthy was RG3's main issue. He was just too frail to withstand NFL hits. Jayden Daniels has the same slight frame which is concerning. Barring JD missing time due to injury, I think he's a better prospect than Caleb too. I just hope he's more durable than RG3.
Ray finkle #1
As a Washington fan I want daniels
As a saints fan, I like Mitchell but I'd much rather not trade down and take either Brian Thomas or Brock Bowers there. In this mock I didn't like seeing either of those guys go before we picked. I think passing on Bowers would be a huge mistake especially
The moment you said “Maye is not everybody’s #2 in this draft”, it was obvious what you were going to do lol.
Lmao right like there’s clearly and agenda here
I agree that the Broncos will take a QB with their pick, but I think Bo Nix would be the man instead of McCarthy. I think Nix fits his style of QB more so, he tends to like those quick passers
As a rams fan I will throw my phone if we take a DT in the first. We are desperate for pass rush and cb help rn. Kobie turner was the runner up as a dt for droy and I believe he will succeed Donald at re and we take a 3rd or 4th round DT.
Marvin the Martian number 1
Patriots will take a quarterback and what situation would they possibly have another chance after this year to take a quarterback? There not going have another top 5 pick any time soon.
Now that I think about it I would love to see zappe get a full season to see what he can do.
You have WR listed as a need for Chicago for some reason
This is what every Vikings fan is praying for. I don’t want McCarthy bro😭😭
As a Dolphins fan I really want Jackson Powers Johnson.
Lions got a new gaurd in free agency, we don't need a guard in the first round when nate wiggins is sitting there
If I’m bears I don’t consider taking bowers if he falls to 9? Get my rookie qb a generational talent at TE
Vikings would never give up 3 first for Drake 😂
