MIDI doesn't have a sound. it's just that sampling synthesizer technology has gotten a lot better, whereas the actual MIDI signal itself has remained largely unchanged for the past 40 years.
I'm looking at the Boss GM-800 on your website and I see it has the Zen-Core sound engine. That's crazy dude! Same sound engine as the Roland Fantom series keyboards.
Is MIDI getting better? My cantini has a midi port but was told not to mess with it at the time I bought it. I was told there were still a lot of issues and bugs.

I'm a viola player looking to buy a 5-string electric violin. What are your thoughts on buying a viola bow vs buying a violin bow for it?
Crazyyy
Would the gliss work?
Cool!
Neat!
Does the synthesizer match the pitch of your finger exactly?
