The story of the video seems to be a boy haunted by the memory of his girlfriend who died. He still loves her and wants to be with her but he knows this means death and he's afraid. His girlfriend has become some kind of evil spirit lingering in the world and tempting him to his death and yet he can't seem to let go of her. As the pain of their happy memories becomes too much for him to bare, his dead girlfriend begins to see the pain he's suffering but the boy resolves himself to join her in death. Ultimately the girl's love for her boyfriend causes her to let go. As a result the boy is overcome by his fear and lives, ultimately coming to terms with her death but the pain still remains. The story told by the music and the video are both tragic and yet beautiful.
Adding a little bit of my interpertation, the moment at 1:48 seems to imply that his girlfriend commited suicide, which probably made him felt guilty of her death
I think that the whole bad GF and the black mud are like his on thoughts of killing himself to be together with her + the guilty feeling + fear of living without her (bad GF = bad thoughts) , but his mind realized how that's probably not a good thing and how that's not what she would want for him (good GF = good thoughts) and so he starts to overcome her death and live

The one thing I noticed from watching this video a lot, is that the girl, she's dead. She became some sort of despair demon. The guy is still alive, but he's being tortured by her, despite the good memories as we can see in the theater. During the video we can see the girl putting her hand on the picture frame of her old self and the guy. She looked like she wanted to grieve but couldn't. As for the guy we could clearly see the pain on his face of missing her and also being tortured by her. During the end of the video, we can see her shed a tear as her one friend who she had probably loved more than a friend disappear along with her happiness, which was toying around with him, but at the same time the good memories she made with him. We can also see that they're connected by a red chain connecting their middle or ring fingers. She lets go of the chain, letting the guy to suffer. But in the end he's still alive, and she's still gone as usual. The music and animation perfectly fits as well, because it also represents how valuable friends could be.

I can't get over how amazing the analogy in the line "Dance, dance to the melody that becomes unbearable with black keys and black keys" is. For anyone wondering, melodies in minor on piano, that are often perceived as sad, contain more of the black keys (so I think). As an example, if you go from C-Major to C-Minor, 3 out of 7 notes get shifted to black keys. Thus making the line mean something along the lines of: "Try to (dance) enjoy life (to the melody), even if it gets bad for you (that becomes unbearable with black keys)".
C-flat major - 7 (all) black keys C-flat natural minor (aka B minor) - 2 black keys not what it really means. the song is in F-sharp major/G-flat major/d-sharp minor/e-flat minor (same scale) which has 6 black keys (out of 7)

Their was a voting system where Dead Mount Death Play anime was present. Even though I did not know anything about it, I still voted for it hoping to watch it later. But everytime I tried to watch it, something comes up and I almost forgot about the anime by now. But yesterday I found the opening which was sang by Sou. After watching the opening, I got very much interested in it and couldn't help myself and come to listen to the whole song and start to watch the anime. Since ID Invaded I know that when Sou is the singer of an anime song, it can never be bad and the show will always be good and I was right.

I can't get over how amazing the analogy in the line "Dance, dance to the melody that becomes unbearable with black keys and black keys" is. For anyone wondering, melodies in minor on piano, that are often perceived as sad, contain more of the black keys (so I think). As an example, if you go from C-Major to C-Minor, 3 out of 7 notes get shifted to black keys. Thus making the line mean something along the lines of: "Try to (dance) enjoy life (to the melody), even if it gets bad for you (that becomes unbearable with black keys)".

Their was a voting system where Dead Mount Death Play anime was present. Even though I did not know anything about it, I still voted for it hoping to watch it later. But everytime I tried to watch it, something comes up and I almost forgot about the anime by now. But yesterday I found the opening which was sang by Sou. After watching the opening, I got very much interested in it and couldn't help myself and come to listen to the whole song and start to watch the anime. Since ID Invaded I know that when Sou is the singer of an anime song, it can never be bad and the show will always be good and I was right.
