The soundtrack is so on point, I love how it catches each characters vibe, literally. Dramatic eastern tones for Zoro, lively and flashy jazz and big band for Sanji, directly invoking his anime themes, "Fight back Sanji" especially.
God, the fact that Sanji’s motif theme in the anime that sometimes pops up is one of my favourites. And now AGAIN his LA theme is just wonderful! The classy Jazz plus orchestra, the people working on the soundtrack won me over!
Happy to hear that they kept Sanji's characteristic jazz vibe, but I'm a little bit surprised by that nordish music (from 0:52 to 2:15), it sounds like goodbye when someone dies...
It's the scene where he's boarding the Merry and saying goodbye to Zeff. I think it's perfectly appropriate for a goodbye (potentially forever as far as they know) at sea when Sanji and Zeff's bond is so directly tied to the absolute darkest times you can have at sea.
“Why we bringing the waiter?”
“Because we can't boil water”
Just watch that scene. I love Usopp lmao
Bro... They went INSANE for Sanji's theme!
The whole family was VIBIN to this when it came on!
This theme is sanely good
Daym
(Heavy British accent) “I owe you my life Ol Man”

This musical bit brought me to tears. Sanji and Zeff were fantastic! This show nailed it!

@@Toadiferous Yeah.
And Zeff has some (obvious) Viking vibes too. I guess that's why that nordish thing.
I owe this song my life
1:48 when I hear this, I feel the vastness of the sea. When we reach the all Blue, I'm going straight back here to cry over it again
I love how this song covers both the jaunty fun of Baratie, AND the time those two spent on the rock together. ;_;
I cried so hard in the farewell scene …and the music just made it worse 😭😭
I didn’t get any emotion with any chapter but Sanji. The actors both sanji and red leg is 💥
0:50 - 2:15 Is anyone else hearing a bit of "Man of the World" and "Experienced many Battles"?
It's mainly the instruments, but no real similarity otherwise.
I need more funky upbeat jazz
