Shelton Benjamin reminds me of Tito Santana or Ricky Steamboat: Shelton is one of the best athletes but never got the chance of being the WWE Champion.
Guy has been wrestling for over twenty years. You might not see these guys on TV every week but that doesn't mean they are still not involved in helping out the company and other wrestlers
No question about that. Shelton has earned his spot in the Hall of Fame. He's been very underrated at times, but just listen to the respect he gets from his fellow wrestlers. You don't wrestle at the highest possible level for 20 years straight if you're not REALLY good. Shelton is REALLY good. Always has been. And if I was in charge of the WWE I'd do whatever was in my power to keep him in the company even after his retirement. Having Shelton Benjamin help/coach younger upcoming talent? Heck yeah.
@@adolfot5913 Last year he said they were best friends and talked all the time, and both individually hinted at being interested in a final run together.

He is in my opinion the most underrated in wwe ever from his team with Charlie haas team angle the gold standard I wish he had one run as a world champion criminallly underrated talent maybe lacking in character work and charismatic side but even so
Easily should've been WWE Championship by now. It'll be argued Promo skills but that's why you have Managers. Obviously WWE doesn't see everyone as Championship material but they pick questionable choices at questionable times. But that's Wrestling.
That's exactly what it's all about. Having fun being paid. Not just the money though, but to make people happy. Inspire people be creative money. It's always awesome.Being in the hall of fame is cool, too

Charlie Haas should be the 1 to induct you to the Hall Of Fame and to me you should be together as the World's Greatest Tag Team. Kurt Angle paid the wave for Mable, he was before Kurt Angle, younger than 2 years but Kurt Angle debuted bit late at almost 31, The Rock left at 30 and definitely at 31, Angle even said The Rock was 1 of the reasons he wanted be a pro wrestler but still The Rock he's younger than 3 years but the main reason was Stone Cold Steve Austin and to Kevin Owens is the favorite wrestler and debuted at 31 in a promo against John Cena pop up powerbombed, John Cena instead started against Kurt Angle
That would be a good. Brock Lesnar would be another good one given his long history with shelton. If there was anyone brock would ever do it for it would surely be shelton.
I think That’s a given.. how about let’s give that man a title run before that happens? A proper run. I see no reason why a future hall Of gamer can’t have that run?
There wouldn't be nothing stopping WWE from putting Shelton up again Roman RIGHT NOW and doing the man's career the final justice by winning a title. But WWE has always had an issue with long-term black champions, let's just speak the facts. You don't believe in the man because of who you think he would or wouldn't cater to. All Shelton needed was more people on his side backstage, but history shows where the nepotism goes and that's the clearest evidence at the end of the day.
If he had the personality to go with all that ability he would make the rock look like a welfare case..... Do you imagine someone like him with the charisma of The Rock Y2J Shawn Michaels or even Bret Hart..... He was just too dead pan professional wrestling.... He's a professional athlete he would have been just fine..... Play deadpan delivery gets over a professional sports but not in professional wrestling..... Cuz in the ring this guy was a virtuoso
What it's been 20+ years yeah bro and u have multiple championships and people still to this day talk about that Benjamin vs Michaels May 2nd 2005 man that kick sorry lol I swear u win a world title I'm 😢
You shouldn't have to be a multi-time world champion to get in. Midcard wrestlers that did great things and iconic moments deserve to be there too. Sure, some people are just for marketing (Great Khali), but Shelton is one who genuinely deserves it.
@@MrHorrornerd Have some respect. He’s created multiple iconic moments, just look at him in ladder matches over the years. The best moments were created by him. Jumping onto the ladder to fight RVD, clotheslining someone off the ladder, being one of the first to jump off a ladder onto a group of people in a creative way and having the audience go crazy every time. Not to mention, he’s won the US and IC titles multiple times. Been in a stable with Kurt Angle that was well received and wom tag team gold multiple times. What more do you want?
@@sirnetflix7162 😂 so he had title reigns that aren’t remembered at all. He was one of Kurt Angles lackeys for what a year? And he should be in the hall of fame because he jumped off a ladder lol. Great points you got there. And even with those highly forgettable title reigns the only thing he is known for is being the guy Shawn kicked in the face lol
@@MrHorrornerd And who exactly are you to dictate who deserves to be in the HOF? There are people in there who never even HAD title reigns, much less multiple. Pray tell, what are YOUR requirements to be in? In your almighty wisdom, tell us all what a person needs to deserve it. Like, do you think all of Cena's title reigns are memorable? Most of them aren't, that's just how it goes. You can't take title reigns away from people because, "Well, I don't remember them hurr durr". Most title reigns in history aren't memorable twenty years later besides maybe a specific moment or match. But go off man.
The WWE Hall of Fame has long been a joke. You have your true HOF’ers like Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, Undertaker, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, etc. who are in the same Hall of Fame as Koko B. ware, Nikolai Volkoff, Drew Carey, Torrie Wilson, etc. So why not throw Shelton in there? Doesn’t matter. If we were going on credentials to warrant a HOF induction, then absolutely not. But if anything and I hate to say it, he will get in eventually because he’s black and it’s good PR. Has nothing to do with his race, that's why you hate to bring it up. Truth is he's getting in because he's put the time in and is beloved. You making it about race is pure projection. Hall of fame has always been a popularity contest primarily.
Bro im sorry shelton shouldnt be a hofer. Not if it was a actual hof. But wwe is pretty much at the point where u have 3 solid years in the midcard and up and the fans like u. u a hofer. And thats so disappointing
Shut yo black ass up. Only a few black wrestlers have been better than shelton benjamin. Rock, booker T, Bobby Lashley, Farooq, Shelton. Just because wwe let's u hold a world title doesn't make you better than someone. Shelton was better than Kofi, Mark henry, viscera, and big e.

If a guy who can't wrestle nor have charisma like Jinder got a world title then this guy deserved it .
Jack swagger was also a terrible promo and he got a world title run
@mr.truecaller8137 they only gave jinder the title so they can do market to india. Vince only sees money. For marketing.
