i wasn't able to do the bash command so I tried adding chromeos.img at the end of the path and the partitioning started but when it ended I wasn't asked to type dualboot anb there wasn't any txt file in the chrome os folder only chromeos.img

Thank you. Somehow I got some problems with Ubuntu not recognising the paths (I've seen others with this problem). For me what fixed it is just reassigning the created partition another letter and restarting my system and updating Ubuntu again. Don't ask why, but it did. Great tutorial and the dual boot runs great.
The Ubuntu terminal is in root mode. To simplify, I created the same folder architecture as you. However when I put the command line cd /mnt/d/downloads/chromeos/ the terminal gives me the following message no such file or directory I checked the path and the letter assigned to the disk that contains the Chrome OS folder. I can't understand why the terminal can't find the folder. Then I may have misunderstood some information

Thanks for clear video , i have succefully installed.But, after installing i went to the storage section of the chromeos setting. It shows 22.9GB and 8 gb remaining but i have only allocated 21gb to the system while partioting. What should i do now? Update the partition or leave as it is.

I wish in Grub2Win you could change the icon and the order of the user added boot options, however it boots into ChromeOS so I'm happy. ChromeOS still feels like if it took the whole SSD which is great.

Yes its booting up, but cannot use terminal, its turned off from development options, and the turn on option is grayed out. To turn that on I have to turn on virtualization first.

Dual booting Chrome OS is similar to that of dual boot Linux or other OS. You can simply delete the OS partition from Disk Management to get rid of it. For SSD its better to single boot on a SSD and then change boot order in BIOS.
Hello. I've tried tried this very similar method (from another RUclipsr) multiple times but with no luck. Stumbled across your video today. I'm trylng to dual boot this with Windows 11. With a fresh install of Windows 11 and a partition of 64gb created for ChromeOS, when I try this installation it says I need gpt. I even converted the disk to gpt but each time I install Windows 11 it's back to mbr. My (older) system has a core i5 (Ivy Bridge) processor. No BIOS UEFI support, only Legacy. i got a problem... i cannt complete the installation cause when i try to do the sudo bash code says "Desination path does not exist, please provide an existing path."... so i tried only puttin the letter of the new partition and seems to complete all but when i go to the partition has nothing on it...
@@Shakeuptech Yes I did, I am both looking in your website and video. But I already fix it. There might be a bug that Ubuntu Terminal didn't recognize the other disks. I manage to continue by watching other videos. It turns out that I can destination path in the same folder (I just don't know because I have no knowledge in linux terminal and can't google for a guide). Then, I proceed with the custom grub2win code. In the end, I manage to dual boot without any issue. I could say that your video is awesome since you can speak English and neat video. There's just need a complete tutorial where you show the solutions to the issues that can be face. It can be to another video. Anyway, thank you.

The ChromeOS disk image has been created. If you want to dual boot this disk image with Grub2Win type "dualboot" and press ENTER. Otherwise if you want to install this disk image on a usb flashdrive / sdcard just press ENTER: Then I typeD dualboot then i got message: ChromeOS has been successfully created YOU CAN INSTALL IT USING USB

So close! grub2win doesn't seem to create the menu option for chromeos. Copied the text into the user section setup. and hit apply. looks ok but don't get the chromes menu option on boot
When i exit grub2win it is green and says "grubwin created 3 menu entries: 0 user menu entries were preserved" The 3 seem to be the 3 default - windows, settings and exit

You're Right-clicking on disk0. Right click on D drive.

Try this open terminal by ctrl + alt + F2, then type root, and then resize-data, reboot. See if it helps.
Installed successfully but the monitor screen is flickering... is there a solution so that the normal screen doesn't flicker?
After installing stiil not sign in .. worked only as a guest any fix for that ??

For MBR there is a MBR patch. You can give that a try.

i got a problem... i cannt complete the installation cause when i try to do the sudo bash code says "Desination path does not exist, please provide an existing path."... so i tried only puttin the letter of the new partition and seems to complete all but when i go to the partition has nothing on it...
Put chromeos.img after your partition. Like /mnt/e/chromeos/chromeos.img

@@Shakeuptech Yes I did, I am both looking in your website and video. But I already fix it. There might be a bug that Ubuntu Terminal didn't recognize the other disks. I manage to continue by watching other videos. It turns out that I can destination path in the same folder (I just don't know because I have no knowledge in linux terminal and can't google for a guide). Then, I proceed with the custom grub2win code. In the end, I manage to dual boot without any issue.
I could say that your video is awesome since you can speak English and neat video. There's just need a complete tutorial where you show the solutions to the issues that can be face. It can be to another video. Anyway, thank you.

So close! grub2win doesn't seem to create the menu option for chromeos. Copied the text into the user section setup. and hit apply. looks ok but don't get the chromes menu option on boot

When i exit grub2win it is green and says "grubwin created 3 menu entries: 0 user menu entries were preserved" The 3 seem to be the 3 default - windows, settings and exit

Yes it can dual boot. I've done it on a 2500U chip. Check the pin comment for video.
Play store is not working It's saying "something went wrong". And then when I click try again it's stuck at setting up Google play. What can I do?
Try rebooting the device. Or remove and add the account again.

Just follow the instructions and you will have a dual boot menu when powering on. You can then choose between Windows or Chrome OS.

I tried the latest again and then got the same error and now nothing works! I gave the partition like 29,2 gb. I have 8GB RAM which isnt a problem (Like i think so after my experience with pc's and laptops after years) And a intel core i5 and HD Graphics 4000. I hope u want to help! Did you copy the whole thing? Check your output. It should mountvol with some directory path. Also run powershell as admin.

I did everything, I just didn't get the command F:/ \L but I went on anyway without errors. When I restarted I didn't get the new boot but the normal windows but I cannot log in anymore! It's stuck after I insert pin!!
