Really want to thank you for posting this video. I will be ordering mine soon. You can't beat service like this.
I have to say I didn't use your product. I already had mine from the auto parts store, looking for help online to see the installation procedure I found yo and I have to say you are a life saver with this very good video. I did it on a 2000 Dakota and is exactly the same thing so I have to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
very well explained.
Thanks again
This video is spot on. Thank you so much. Replaced mine in 30 minutes. Same year truck.
Great video! I'm gonna change mine tomorrow. I'm glad I found this video! :-)
Excellent, clear instructions! Very helpful.
Perfect instruction ! Thank You !
Looks like a quality part.
Excellent video,
Thank you! Straight to the point.
thanks for the vid. i learned some good stuff
thank you for the tips
Thanks, I learnt a lot from this video, just wondering if the 2012 caliber uses the similar slave cylinder
Thankyou very much i watched this while replacing mine on my 2nd gen. Its basically the same thing!
Great video
Thank you so much very clear and to point
INCIDENT- The hose on the Slave cylinder is metal shielded and the battery is in close proximity! While installing my unit the shielding shorted out on the battery. Potentially causing a hole in the line. As a precaution cover the battery and cable with a shop towel or remove the battery. Other than that this was a very simple installation.
Nice, now to do my own.
What would be the symptoms requiring someone the need to replace this?
And not just meaning the product from perfection but other complete systems as well?
I know this may have been mentioned before, but just to make sure, these come out of the box full and bled?
i have found that most parts stores don't carry anything new or upgraded parts. were can i look for this for my 95 Dakota?
Since the clutch reservoir is pre filled do you have to bleed the system? Or is it good to go afterwards? Anyone?
hi, my clutch do not pump , I have to replace hydraulic system or what can I do . thanks
I put one in but its kind of spongy.. is there a way to bleed this system?
thanks for this instructional video, I'm ordering mine now for 2002 Dodge ram 1500, but my question is everthing is similar except when removing master in mine only can do 1/4 turn not full 1/2 turn to the left due to the big booster brake, any suggestion? thanks again
I know this is an old comment, but for anyone else with a similar problem, on my 2003 Ram 1500, I had to unbolt the Master Cylinder mounting plate. Two 15mm bolts from the inside of the cab.
Why didn't they do this for my Ford F-250? I bought the pre bled system
Hi, very helpful video. What is the name and part number so I can buy it.
You guys make just a line? For a 2nd gen 1500 nv3500
The push rod inside the cab on my peddle a globby foot mechanic broke it, think he pulled up on it and it popped off and cause my clutch to some what go to the floor then on top of it I think he tried to force the clutch down breaking more plastic and my safety switch, now they claimed I should have my clutch fixed but they’re not responsible for it, was a part that was just so happen ready to break and just their luck, now I believe that but the mechanic still tried to force the peddle down after it had broke causing it to break further... I can’t prove it I wasn’t next to him but just by the broken plastic I can see that it was forced after it popped out... is there any way I can just get that part that’s broke is my question
i out new one on but still nothing so i think its internal its a 03 2500 4x4 dodge
i want one of these for my 03 dodge ram 1500 3.7 v6 5 speed. do yall make one? and if so how much?
Hi I just replaced my master cylinder for clutch on my dodge Dakota 2000, I t was making a loud speaking sound after a while of driving and there was not much pressure when pushing in on clutch. Now I have pressure but it still makes loud speaking noise any suggestions?
perfectionclutch I have the same problem
I wish I saw this before buying the type that has fluid and you bleed, I have a 02 Dodge 1500 with the other type you replace this with. During bleeding, and it went from a strong peddle to nothing, what happened? I can get no presure now and no more fluid is coming out during bleeding. It didn't go empty, master cylinder is still full but I can't get it to pump back up with presure, any ideas?

Hi, I have the '01 RAM V6 5 speed. I had this part replaced also, but it hasn't helped much at all. The truck still lunges and chatters when you are stopped. Also, sometimes won't go into gear at all (have to turn off engine, put in gear, then restart). Did these guys not do the job right? not bled properly? Other than getting truck into gear, it runs great. no slipping, etc. Thanks, for any help.
I installed a new clutch but it's still slipping under high power. My nv4500 pedal disengages towards the top. Is there a possibility of bad hydraulics?
+perfectionclutch Clutch was replaced with a Valair clutch. I can row through the gears until the clutch starts to engage, 1-2'' from top (resting position). It acted this way with the stock replacement clutch that was in there. New clutch has new flywheel & pressure plate. I'm tempted to cut a length off the slave rod at this point.
Explain Dixie cylinder under truck
if you put old slave that has the plastic already broke how do you get air out of it and hold push rod in to put back in
Guess he doesn't answer questions huh???
Highly doubt you need this but the say you can't but if you take it all the way off and hang it by the cylinder so it's the highest point it should push the air up
My clutch on my 2001 2500 is really stiff. It works but I need to push hard to shift. Any idea what I should do? I just replaced the clutch bearing also.
+perfectionclutch So here's the history. I rebuilt the engine and decided to replace the clutch disk and clutch cover (aftermarket). I installed it using the plastic gear guide. So I know that's good and I also replaced the clutch release bearing. I made sure there was plenty of grease on the shaft and I think that's the only thing I greased on it. Can't remember. It shifts fine just hard to push in the clutch. Anything I can do without pulling out the engine?
+perfectionclutch I just watched the video. Since mine is an older engine (2001) it is a little different. I did make sure the bearing had plenty of grease. But I used regular grease (it's a red grease, I can get the name later. )
Excellent video. I tried to order this part; apparently Perfection doesn't accept orders and there is no phone number. Is Perfection still in business?
Hello Pat, Thank you for the review! We are still in business and you can find our parts at your local retailer. For questions and other inquiries you can contact us at tech@perfht.com :)
@@perfectionclutch does this fits to a 2018 ram 2500 by any chanse?
I just called perfection and even though you said you're working on a dodge like mine, a 2003, they say they don't make a kit like the one you installed on the video. Were you incorrect on your description of what you were working on or installing? I have a 2003 Dodge 3500 with the adjustable pedals and need a part number to order the entire assembly with aluminum master and slave as well as the stainless braided line. Does that part number exist?
Its the same one. I just did mine on my 2003 cummins 6 speed. Same exact ones. Just know that if you have adjustable pedals like i do it is MUCH worse under the dash.. Everything is about 4x worse to do because there is no room..
Chuck Norris Thanks Chuck. I actually went to the dealer and bought the system from them. Surprisingly, it was not as expensive as you would have thought. My payments on the part are only $250 a month for 2 years.....LOL.
