I wish this young man all the best, I'm not questioning his integrity but the integrity of those seniors in the military and Gov who have allowed themselves to be bought or silenced by current political agendas.
They have no place in the UK and we need to replace them with honest and good people.

I grew up in the 1980’s. I would have fought & died for my country without a second thought. Now? Who and what exactly would I even be fighting for? The country I grew up in no longer exists, and a huge chunk of my ‘fellow’ citizens seem to be deliriously happy about it, and eager for things to keep changing. I have no country to fight for, anymore.

Agree 100%. After completely my 'A' Levels, the first thing I did during my summer holidays was join the TA. I was highly motivated, very aware of the Cold War and the Sov threat, and I was fully committed and willing to do my bit in the event the Soviet hoard came pouring over the West German border. I served 19 years in the reserves, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Concurrently, I served 16.5 years in the police, and grew to thoroughly detest the job and the service itself. Today, I wouldn't lift a finger for this country in terms of defending it. What would I be defending, a corrupt and broken political system, a rotten to the core society, a country which no longer has any real identity, a country which is NOT run in the best interests of it's citizens and hasn't been for decades. It's a multi-cultural morass, we don't have a single service or institution which is fit for purpose- not one. I thoroughly detest the country now, and continually advise my two nephews, who are in their 20's, to get out and emigrate. I don't recognise this country as the same one I grew up in.

@@liverpoolscottish6430 They're the saddest words I've heard, but I agree. In 2021 my daughter needed help with an autistic grandchild - although living a comfortable life in Florida, I agreed to buy a house on the IOW and return to England to help her and the family. I made a cash offer on an apartment on the Island and sold my house in Naples Florida. My furniture went into storage and I contracted a container to ship it across from Miami. The Estate Agent recommended I use a solicitor known to them. After going through the usual money laundering investigation I was cleared.to proceed - what I didn't know was that 'Yorkshire Building Society' had purchased 'Countrywide' which in turn had bought many Estate Agents in the south including the one I was using. Countrywide, a portal in Cardiff was handling my conveyancing! After 6 months of little contact I was advised my purchase would not be finalized for at least another 3 months (I was never allowed to talk with my solicitor and was given the run-around by the agent who had lied). Cash deal probate sell - motivated sellers. Sometime later I pulled out - they had no intention of allowing me to return to England appearing delighted they had foiled my plans. Yes, England and Britain have changed beyond redemption. BEWARE YBS and Countrywide.

I was a United States Naval officer on submarines with ballistic missiles and nuclear reactor I spent seven years in
I would never recommend anyone join the United States military.
Why? The generals and Admirals are politicians and not warriors. They literally don’t care. They’ll punch their ticket as a flag officer for 30 years, then work in the military industrial complex.
I figured this out within the first year of being in the Navy.
The following are the categories of officers :
    1. Flag officer “want to be” all they do is get their minimum tickets punched and moved on. They don’t care about their fellow officers or enlisted personnel; they’ll stab in the back every time. They really don’t care about learning how to be warriors. And these make decisions and now you know why it’s screwed up. They got the prestige in the Kushy post career job.
    2. Then there are Warriors. They have a 15 year career and then they get put behind a desk somewhere. And this results in a lot of bitter paper pushers. These are the guys that were keeping everything running in the military and are basically look down upon after their 15 years of hard-core work and they’re just put out the pasture behind a desk.
    3. Retired on active duty: these guy just get their absolute minimum tickets Punched but they just want to get shore billets so they don’t have to do any real work or take any risks
    4. Guys like me that figure it out and only did one tour.
Remember for every single warrior fighting there’s 3 to 5 military personnel supporting them; so if you run the numbers and say it’s only three supporting them it means 75% the people in the military are not
    Warriors.
The flag officers care about politics, not about warfare and their men and women

As an ex senior teacher, adult trainer, lecturer from industry and the RAF, who retrained as a Maths and then an IT Teacher back in 1982, when I left in 1997 the same could be said about the teachers I worked with and taught during 1980/90s, who unlike me, (similar to this guy) only voiced their true feelings about political correctness in private and behind closed doors.
But NOW 90% of teachers are in total agreement and actively indoctrinate Woke principals. I don't normally come into contact with the police, in fact I can't recall actually seeing one in the last two years, but recently my next door neighbour had a break in, and I had a visit from a Sgt and constable who noticing my camera enquired if it had recorded anything. I showed therm but had none, made a cup of tea and had a chat.
Furthermore, I have done a lot of management training, travelled greatly, many high level meetings and I believe I am a good judge of character, tell if someone is bullshiting me, putting on a front or holding things back. With your two colleagues in a very short period of time it felt exactly the same as when I was once dealing with very left-wing political correct teachers, as their body language, the words they used and answers they gave to my questions displayed it so well. In all ways they were totally committed Woke, diversity, LBQT etc way of thinking and talking. So unless I just happen to get two officers in the 10% category, I very much disagree with your, dare I say, rather naive and incorrect comment that 90% of your male colleagues hide their true feelings.

Recent example of very poor integrity that upset a lot of people:
Wigston, when he went in front of the Defence Committee, and his vocabulary used was: “we failed…”, “the organisation failed…”, “the organisation made mistakes…”
Take ownership!: “I ordered this”, “I made this mandate”, “I take responsibility for this event” - his mealy mouthed words caused a catastrophic loss of confidence in the RAF SLT that is still there today. If you are a leader and you want something to happen - say it plainly and don’t hide behind circumstance.
When he assured the Defence Security that “no Positive Action has been used”, when it actually was - under his orders - shows the measure of the man as well: the lack of integrity and the willingness to not take responsibility. Terrible, tragic time for the RAF.

My wife went through a bad time following a heart attack at a young age, followed by two cardiac arrests. This left her with severe PTSD. This manifested itself with incredible pain throughout her body. Despite many medical investigations, they could find no cause for her physical symptoms. Things only improved when she was recommended a book called The Body Keeps The Score. This helped her deal with and understand how her pain was a manifestation of her stress and anxiety, all part of her PTSD.

We don't get to pick our own callsigns. We also don't get to pick our own standards. There are objective realities we have to deal with. I got commissioned in the U.S. Navy in 1977. My first squadron was VFP-63 flying the RF-8G. Many of the pilots in the squadron had resided for some time at the Hanoi Hilton. They were GIANTS! They had personal and professional standards born out of dealing with those (and other) realities. I didn't always rise to their expectations, but I sure as hell tried! I certainly didn't decide theirs were too hard to meet and then come up with my own that were easier to achieve. Standards are aspirational. Maybe you can meet them, maybe not, but they exist outside of ourselves. It seems that in the age of participation trophies that has been forgotten. We'll relearn these lessons the way we always do, the hard way!

Tim, I've recently left another public body, the fire and rescue service and it is happening there.....the last few recruitment drives put out by the brigade I served with was aimed primarily at BAEM and women....whatever one of those is these days..... point being, the inept dross that is filtering through now just to tick boxes and hit targets should be extremely worrying for the ordinary man/woman on the streets.....I was close to getting the boot for speaking up and questioning the ability and standards to certain new recruits I witnessed coming through training. I'll add that even the training department were reluctant and wanted to bin certain recruits because they fell short of the standards required.....but unfortunately, higher up had already made the decision that these people were to join, stepped in and over ruled the instructors.....to the detriment of crews lives and well being, not to mention the lives of those recruits who were totally out of their depth and not suited to the service.....it's a political danger and as I've said to a few guys before I thankfully retired, it'll take a few dangerous incidents and resulting deaths for powers that be react.....but I'll not hold my breath.
I'm just so pleased to be out of it now.
BTW I used to be a PONGO and keep in touch and know it just the same if not worse in the army.

I was not in the services, but for quite a number of years worked in industry, mainly on defence projects. Then came the London bombings of 7/7/2005. Which made me question what I was trying to achieve. Given that those who want to attack us are already within our borders, and there was zero political will to root them out. It was an eye-opening time for me. I realised that my work on defence projects was pointless. I therefore resigned from my job, and have not worked on defence projects since.

The creation of your Supreme Court is an example of unwise knee jerk thinking by your past governments. The court, as far as I as an American can understand it, has now fashioned itself into a second legislature which unlike the House of Commons, is not subject to the electoral will of the people. Israel has the same problem. Before October 7th, the country was in political chaos over Likud's and Mr. Netanyahu's attempt to rein in the rogue legislative power of their own ad hoc Supreme Court. If you wonderful Brits don't want to end up in the same mess, Parliament needs to abolish or at least drastically reform your Supreme Court, or it will perpetuate itself as a leftist politburo, dictating insane Wokist constrictions that will destroy the power of the citizenry. The Tories have tried to dismantle some of the most egregious legislative mistakes of Tony Blair's ilk, but they've been undermined and thwarted by the unelected Court. Now it looks as though Labour is on the verge of taking power, and if you think things are bad now, just wait til you see how much worse it will be with the Left in the driver's seat!

But recruitment has fallen off amongst straight white men who do most of the heavy lifting and suffer most casualties.
Recent adverts are full of straight white men. BE THE BEST YOU CAN.

Hey Tim, can I give you a slightly different view on this. When I joined up in 99 I was being interviewed by some Pers Admin bod who was rattling through his pre set questions. He gave me a scenario which went roughly ‘you pass out as one of those Aerial Erectors and you are needing someone to foot one of your ladders, you find out that person is homosexual and is footing your ladder, what are you going to do next’
My answer was roughly ‘Well as long as they are a decent person I have no issues with anyone holding that ladder’
He then went ‘I’m off to make a brew, do you want one? Have a few minutes to think about your answer’ when he came back with the brews he said ‘had a think, I said ‘yes I’d report them to the RAF Police’ ‘Excellent’ he said and I passed the interview and joined up a few months later. Had I have stuck with my original answer I would have got the boot as unbeknown to me, a 16 year old kid, effectively the MOD’s policy on this was rigid: investigation followed by discharge. Of course all this changed in the 2000 review and they went down an almost oppsite direction, however does this mean I lack integrity as I fell into line to secure a role? Or does it mean I did what I needed to do to not only get in but to be able to make sure nobody gets treated like that again. As for the record I don’t care what someone’s sexual orientation is, I care are they a good Aerial Erector with a keen eye for safety and someone who has my back 365ft up RAF Stenigot in a gale.
12 years later I was back as a Sergeant managing an outreach team at that same careers office, making change and inspiring our younger generation whilst hammering home RISE to all who would listen. Suppose what I am saying is sometimes we feel the need to do things that don’t align with ‘integrity’ to be able to get to somewhere where we can make a life for ourselves and then steer the ship in the direction you want it to go in.
We all have done it, ‘no officer I was deffo doing 60mph not 78, your gun needs calibrating’ lol 😂
When you are scared that you might get binned or bring negative attention towards yourself I think it’s quite natural to go along with something to be able to get a foot in the door to steer change. And if this dude is young, he won’t find that ultimate level of integrity until he’s a bit older when there’s less of a toss given to what the establishment will try and do to him.
Just giving a slightly different approach to this one brother, make no doubt I love your vids and everything you stand for.
    All the very best,
    Lee.

I found out a few weeks later that it was a fabrication and his WC had lent on him. The pathetic Moron didn’t have the moral courage to tell me the truth and that’s the problem with the organisation today. Everyone who joins up today regardless of their role should take a leaf out of my old ethics professor who started his course with “GENTLEMEN YOUR INTEGRITY IS LIKE YOUR VIRGINITY YOU LOSE IT ONCE”. now think about that and what it means and look at yourself in the mirror and ask are yourself you really are!

I think everyone going for a job interview wants and needs to be the person his/her potential employer is looking for , if they genuinely want the job. I saw very little integrity in civilian life employment. 15 years in the Army set me up for failure in Civilian life, I genuinely believe that. Once I latched on to the realisation that whilst civil services advertise for ex Servicemen, they really don’t want them when they get them. A service person’s integrity, is too high a standard.

Recall a School teacher friend at Brugge in the 80’s, who tendered his resignation from the Officers Mess, (Teachers at RAF schools had automatic officer status) The Station Commander interviewed him about the reason. He stated that like some other teachers they had stopped using the mess, as he found that yes it was initially welcoming, once the officers realised that the teachers could not really have pans boost value to their careers, they were left alone. So no point paying into a place that ignored you. That didn’t go down well at all. But nothing changed. It’s part of the officer system that the ‘old boy network’ is something that’s still alive & well. It’s that pressure to ‘fit in, to get further up the food chain. Probably worse now as the forces have been reduced by so many.
Prior to leaving in 2000 TheSgts were to meet the AOC, in the Sgts Mess at RAF Linton On Ouse. The AOC had come from the ATC tower where he had met Sgts on duty. Even he was taken aback to meet the 4 of us, Comms, Armoury ,Catering & Admin. His parting words were, “I can see the future is going to be even more challenging, but we’ve done our best to lead the Air Force forward, good luck. I retire next week.
We were polite as usual…but one voice it for us after he’d gone. so we’ve cut you to nothing, but I’ve got my pension,,,,,bye!

I see it this way Tim , putting aside feelings and emotions , because these don't matter flying jets .
All the standards you upheld during your service career were handed down to you. And for a reason they kept you alive.
Years and decades of RAF has honed down these standards, through mistakes pilot error, maintenance people have worked hard to limit this risk over the hundred years of the RAF.

Our military values and integrity have followed our civil values and integrity out of the door sadly. Our crass, inept supposedly intelligent politicians have overseen the downfall of this once great nation.

My father was a petty officer in the Royal Navy back in the sixties and he always said the problem with the forces was ‘yes men’. It’s a term that you don’t hear often, so for those that don’t know what these scumbags are - a person who agrees with everything that is said
especially : one who endorses or supports without criticism every opinion or proposal of an associate or superior.
And for anyone that doesn’t realise it, this is a shameful thing!

If you compare our military not our people on the front line but compare our top brass, our government, our planning with Russia and China then we are doomed and frankly we deserve it.

Thanks for the video. Today feelings become before facts. Most things are about image whilst achieving nothing. Interesting subject which I think can be applied to many aspects of life today. In general what has todays person become? I'm 61 and have no connection with the forces other than my sister in law who's currently a Commander in the Navy and I hear bits and bobs of her experiences. Seems so many people have lost many basic things like self respect and definitely respect for others. Many live in a virtual world collect friends and likes on the way. Many people aren't comfortable with face to face contact. Integrity, trust, your word etc are the next level up. What used to be a reasonable set of standards over the years has diminished and has become like common sense....it's not that common. Unfortunately the media is full of our politicians and so called celebrities doing ridiculous acts and being evolved in criminal activities it possibly sets the wrong impression to people. Constant lies and wrongdoings. The examples set are poor. Unfortunately many children are missing a father figure and they're allowed to run ferral. You're correct that many of the new visitors to our shores have nothing to contribute to our economy or way of life which can't help with society. We need a bit of a reset button but unfortunately I can't see things getting better.

I'd hate to be that mental guy who sits in the corner of the pub rambling on, but.
I'm a professional engineer, and every decision I make is evidence based. That mindset also makes me aware of the push/pull going on in various systems (local all the way to a geopolitical/global scale) and the effects they have on other systems. A sort of prodding a bubble in front of you and watching that energy push the other side of the bubble out, an equal and opposite reaction of you will aka Newton's 3rd Law.
We have legal/illegal migration with the illegal bit paling in numbers compared to, say, international students, doctors, or even low paid work like care. This is all to try and tackle the stalled GDP per capita we currently have. Not GDP on its own but as a metric measured against net producers and takers. Unfortunately, through many years of misinformed socio-economic meddling and societal engineering in general, we have what we have.
Who'd have thought that if you import the third world like we have, with their backwards views and lack of wanting to belong to something better than the shithole they left, that we wouldn't see some of those characteristics bleed through into our own society.
Multiculturalism for the UK was initially a good idea but has failed badly due to inconsistent gerrymandering horseshit policies and lack of anything meaningful in ensuring integration. 1st and 2nd generation immigration have adapted well because they had to. Since then, though.....
