i hope someone just buys the brand and honestly sues hasbro for the stuff they´ve done, especially mistreating JDF and the brand as a whole, they clearly didn´t care about Power Rangers, it´s genuinely depressing seeing it go and all those props too, all the suits also should´ve gone to the actors themselves, not to an auction
As someone who grew up with mighty morphin this is really a sad thing to see :( I have the OG team in figure from thanks to the 30th anniversary but we needed more characters from the show, unfortunately it won't happen now which is sad. I really do hope that in the near future someone gets the rights to PR and we see more toys for collectors but for now, it's not looking good fokls?!? 😟 let's keep the hope Alive and maybe one day we hear ... IT'S MORPHIN TIME!! Once again?? ...
It sucks. On one hand Hasbro can create something great like they did recently with TF1, but on the other hand it's all about profit margins. I just want them to do a fresh start and go animated for just one season.
@@justjustin_collects I've been to PowerMorphicon and it's amazing to see how many people still support the franchise. Power Rangers should be that series that bridges the gap between child and teen programming. Where its not afraid to tackle serious topics and doesn't dumb down it's audience, but at the same time, isn't cluttered with a ton of risqué subject matter.
Hopefully Hasbro sells off these items to get whatever funds they can from them and then they sell the license so we can get a fresh take and new ideas on the property!
I started with Season 1 of Mighty Morphin and finished with In Space. I watched some episodes of Lost Galaxy but eventually stopped. Countdown To Destruction was just too perfect, it was the perfect ending for me. I've seen the one off specials Forever Red, Legendary Battle, Once & Always. As far as the show goes I can't say I'm devastated. I am upset that Hasbro halted the Lightning Collection. I just needed Squatt, Baboo, and Quantrons. Playmates already said their first showings will be aimed towards kids. As far as collectors items with them saying prices better than other collector companies I'm taking that as lower price which means lower quality. That to me doesn't sound promising for a collector line. We've already had 30 years of kids toys. I want collector quality items like what Bandai did with the Legacy Collection. I loved the Legacy Collection figures, props, megazords. I wish Bandai would get the toy license back. TMNT & Batman have different companies making different things. Have Playmates make the kids toys but have someone else work on a collector line.
Very well said! Sounds like we had a very similar viewing experience of the show. I stopped watching some point during Lost Galaxy as well. In Space truly did feel like the perfect ending, but that makes sense because it originally was going to be. As an adult I’ve gone back and watched SPD and some of the crossover specials. And of course the Once and Always Special. The plug on Lightning Collection was definitely pulled too early. We needed Squat, Baboo, Rito, Divatox, Piranhatrons, Quantrons, and the rest of the Turbo Team. That is definitely an excellent point about Playmates. Honestly my expectations are very low for what they might have planned. Fingers crossed it works out. Thank you for the comment my friend!
Maybe Hasbro will let the Rights Rot, & Revert back to Toei, like What Happend to Glitter Force Reverts to Toei, & We're seeing Too Many Precure Seasons in Crunchyroll.
This most Heartbroken as Power Rangers fan, As i love this Franchise. It's very sad to see it. I've see people talk about Power Rangers on Twitter all time on my Twitter home page. All power rangers suit and item are getting Auction.
Hasbro's the same company that bought the rights to gobots to eliminate competition and refuse to make anything new with gobots. I'm afraid they might do the same with power rangers
Everyone should just migrate to Super Sentai, it's generally better anyway. I'm not crapping on MMPR, just saying if it is done at least there's a viable alternative.
That’s fair. Super Sentai definitely has its huge following and rich history. But it’s just not for everyone. Doesn’t have that good ole hit of nostalgia to it.
Such a sad time to be a power rangers fan?! :( let's just hope That someone gets the rights and we start getting more figures that we need in the collection?? Also RIP JDF 💔 ...

Perfectly said my friend! There’s always hope!

It really is confusing.
Sadly I think it just comes down to the top people in charge not believing in the brand.

Amen, my man!
Saban incoming to scoop it back up at 1/4 the price! 😂
I personally hope that Warner Bros gets a hold of Power Rangers

Man if Hasbro isn’t going to do anything with the brand I’m honestly okay with ANY other company getting it.

It’s very heartbreaking 😔
Hopefully the franchise can return one day but I just don’t think it’ll ever be the same.
@@justjustin_collects As much i rewatch all power rangers tv series on pluto tv.
Kinda sad to see the props go. Do hope Hasbro sells the property though. Let's see what someone else can do with it!
Exactly! Gotta try to remain hopeful for the future

That’s a really good point. I guess all we can do at this point is hope for the best. 🤞🤞

Right there with you man! Ya know it really wouldn’t surprise me if Saban ended up buying it back in a few years.
LOL!
