It's sad, even I growing up have not always been grateful of other men who do right. But I have foresight and my own experiences now. For instance I wasn't always grateful of my dad who did a lot of things for me. Like fix my truck, take me fishing, or just talk to me. I used to get mad at him, thinking oh this or that wasn't good enough, etc but I am now a middle-aged man and through my own life experience show my gratitude more often. If you eventually get put through the meat grinder which most men do you come out different. (I left the nest at 18.) You may be bitter, you may feel lost or stronger, a lot of different things. Whatever it is I think you won't take things for granted as much cuz you've felt the pain. An all female society would collapse if their was no man. That's why I say go your own way and give them nothing. I think we're nearing to the end of a sick time. This kind of falls in with something I've noticed over the years. Where a woman will spend the entire time she's in a relationship/marriage with a guy... Destroying it and covering her ass to everyone she knows.
An example would be that one time the guy forgets to take the trash out on his way to work because he was running late. Now she's on the phone with any and everyone who will listen about what an ungrateful asshole he is and how he never does anything because she has to do everything. Hell, chances are she won't even do it, just harangue him into it when he gets home.
Here's the thing though, because guys generally know that nobody gives a shit about his relationship problems unless it's something serious Ala "I think she's cheating on me" or "I think she's trying to kill me"... Guys keep all that shit to themselves. So all the people they know hear, is what an asshole he is and over the months/years, that shit adds up.
So much so that people who know her, even if they've seen him act like nothing but a prince to her, will start prodding her, like "I know you love him, but you've got to leave his deadbeat ass. He treats you like shit, you deserve better" because all they hear is bullshit the entire time they're together. Which in turn alleviates her decision to fuck up her relationship/marriage by leaving... Because if everyone she knows is telling her to, then it's like she has no choice. So much so that it's no surprise to hear this and consider that THEIR friends always become HER friends, even if she cheats on the guy.
The point however, long winded as it seems, is that any guy in a relationship has her friends and family over to HIS house, smiling in his face or laughing at his jokes, eating HIS food and drinking HIS beer or wine... They fucking hate him. Then go home with scathing observations ns of completely benign acts to confirm their hatred of him. "Could you believe he was against her drinking tonight? Just because she's pregnant doesn't mean she can't have a few glasses of wine, what a fucking asshole."
Yeah ... they look at the man as a joke because he did all this to make the party happen for everyone else, BUT!, IF the man is wise and simply doesn't do it.... If he realizes that he's seen as a pathetic joke for attempting to do good things for the woman he loves.... and he says "NO MORE"... THEN, he's seen as a looser, and compared to other husbands who are still caught up in the lie. Then he's hated and ridiculed by all the same women that thought he was a joke when he did participate in the lie.... Then his wife divorces him and he loses everything... Best thing to do is not marry or get involved to begin with... just stay away, and make a life for yourself... One day women will be forced to realize what they've done to ruin everything.
