Don't blastchain mines get a fuckload of damage if you detonate them in sequence without placing new mines?
If you wanna make it even lazier. I’m going purifying flame mines and I have detonate on left click and mines on right click, run around. Right click and keep moving and everything dies :D
Yup that's how I do it 2 instead of immortal call or any other buff you keep up on your left mouse. Drop detonate in that left click
You should be doing that with any miner build anyway. It makes your clear much smoother since mines usually clear packs with one or two mines anyway.
Purifying flame is the best miner build and does more damage than any other miner build regardless of silly poe ninja numbers on icicle mine and such. The sweet spot is getting it over level 28 for the aoe growth and using a carcass jack. GC is a bit more "fun" for some reason but they just keep nerfing the hell out of it.. or making placement important.. So plan for an empower level 4 eventually and plus 1 spell/int/fire gem levels on stat sticks/weapons/amulet. Get some shaper phys damage as lightning/cold/chaos on weapons.. get full conversion from gloves (phys to lightning) along with either watchers eye (phys to cold affected by hatred) or special conversion roll on weapons (of the redeemer?) If you do it well by having all three elements.. explosive expert ascendancy node becomes godlike as well as the taming ring.

I was using Icicle mine, after watching this I switched to glacial mine and then wow that change in clear speed and the knock back is simple amazingly good XD. thank you so much!

Hi, i would like to ask were you able to defeat Sirus on your previous build for gc?
Been stuck trying to kill him at his last Phase .
And also how did u manage to do Encounter 3 Challenge, kill leif when Blinded. i tried that many times but seems he is blinded most of the time.
I got do about A5 and beat him with that, but you need corrupted blood immunity

What do you use to lvl up till u get the lvl for the skills?
I've mines until mapping. Then gc it up

@@LightOfSkyFalling you'll get ice mine at the end of act 1. That is its own type of mine, so you don't need anything else until gc then.
The added knock back to the GC gem is what breaks it. It is also going to be my third character :)
you can even map your detonate mine on your left clic and enjoy the explosion while moving ;o
How to trigger Explosive Expert? Is having all 3 dmg type in your GC is enough? If I run Skitter Bots then I have to have fire dmg in my GC, right?
Usually you trigger the fire proc from have wave of conviction somewhere in your build and you would self cast or put it on a trigger spell somewhere in your build but you don't need to run fire damage in your gc mines
I see someone put Infernal Legion in their Skitterbot. I already run Skitter Bot with Bonechill so I dont want to reserve my mana more. I also a lazy guy, so to just click and run, I just need to put some minimal fire dmg to my GC and get my crit chance high, this will do right? I'm not an game mechanic expert so I'm asking for your confirmation
@ infernal legion is a fkn genius move actually because skitters can't die. Run an essence worm right to reduce hatred res, the apply infernal legion, I'll actually test it tonight myself.

GC has always been great for single target and clearing but now it's downright sleeper OP

You probably need either a minefield or swift assembly in there to 2 tap mob packs for a more zoom zoom playstyle.

I am watching your video on the slowest speed to get the passive and gem set . If you make one that would be great!

Dude, how about your Jugg character? Its not worth it anymore? Would you continue on him or no? Also it would be nice if you give as a bonus lvl100 tree for the jugg. I am lvl78 and don't know which nodes takes next.. could you help me with that, please?) I really enjoy hoa+hop character
I'm still leveling the jugg. I play a couple builds each league. In this case the jugg is awesome for delve and heists. The miner is great for quick currency farming
When I made it to maps I immediately regretted not going with my gut on a miner build

Keep min and maxing. Have you done sirus yet?
Use bubonic trail boots 2 abyss sockets with stygian with three different type jewels. Aul's amulet with free hatred will be bis for double dipping phys and cold. Atziri promise as well double dips. Then you'll be cooking with grease friend.

@@JorgenPOE Also.. if you have a thumb button on your mouse.. link that to detonate.. note what blastchain or high impact support does... you do alot more damage if you stack mines then let them detonate in sequence.. it's part of the bossing part really.. stack all mines first, then detonate. Each mine in the sequence is more damage than the last.. so change your strategy for bossing. Holding down both buttons at once doesn't build a sequence for damage. Give it a go and good luck!
You can also use replica hyrri’s truth. It has 50% reduced hatred mana reservation and gives lvl22 hatred along with some great global critical multiplier. It’s also comparatively hella cheap
Since you arent using the gem slots in the tremor rod.. you are better off with a rare wand or dagger with crit for spells, plus one spells/cold or shaper mods gain phys as ele/chaos. You can dual wield them for min maxing damage or use a shield for more defense and offense mix.
I'm not sure why mines is so popular. What does it bring? Are the benefits from saboteur and the mine nodes just OP?
Basically. It's op and has huge clearing speed so much easier to generate currency

All the Ball Lightning Miners switched to Glacial Cascade. Miner builds are well known to be very cheap.
Mines do incredible damage in comparison to selfcast

It's one of the miner nodes in the tree, also using I think it was charged mines generates them
Seems great, looks like good old GC miner is back in fashion. No elemental reflect issues, just need to deal with No Regen I guess.

I am. I'm using this build to fund the jugg a bit more. It's at about 450k dps right now.
I like the build, I like mines, but one issue I had last league is the screen clutter. Literally your whole screen is white, which happened when I went ice storm last league. It’s an issue, but as a miner, hopefully it doesn’t impact you because you rely on fast kills.
use the gore mtx.. its helps alot and you can see bearers.. also, the new gc is more transparent.
Is it possible to make It good CI?
Definitely, all the nodes are available to you. I'll probably switch to ci when I min and max
feel like there is a slight over exaggeration here. This is just a typical mine build tbh and GC mines have always been popular even before the rework. I can understand why you're so impressed with mines seeing as how its your first time playing it, but it isn't because of GC alone, its just that mines are brokenly overtuned. Any mine skill is going to be similar.
Overturned lol. Mines have always been strong, but haven't been overtuned since probably pyroclast mine release.

ball lightning sadly is not ! its been really nerfed i just wonder how this GC will be vers high end game but it is looking very nice on low maps with rubish gear !

Its definitely better mate. At level 90+ with gg gear you will wreck everything.

Slowest mine build i ever played ( feels smoother when i got to yellow maps) , and i remember 3.1 gc mines was alot better
it's your first miner , but trust me you can get fast killed with miner it's not just about the damage , saboteur damage = his only defense , in huge maps if you don't kill ennemies fast you just die
You're losing a lot of burst DPS by keeping the detonate button pressed, blast chain mines gives a lot of +damages when you trigger a long separated chain of mines, doesn't really help with clearing but improves a lot burst versus bosses. Anyway, yeah, i think the skill is now broken with pushback combined with saboteur, this is going to be nerfed, but not now, GG is struggling with Heist's mechanics and bugfixing, GC miners are fine. I'm not gonna play it tho, miners are extremely repetitive most of time, not my stuff.
Not really impressive. I've started 2 leagues with GC mines and after fiddling around and checking poe.ninja I've realized that the lowlife ES version of GC mines is so much better. With pure life version you will rip ALOT (and thats an understatement). Also, you want Kaom's Heart as your chestpiece.
generally people start miners with life/dodge and sometimes a kaom's heart, but youre supposed to upgrade to ci then lowlife

GravityCoil disagree.. life and es hybrid is best and does the most damage as you can gear more damage mods and still achieve 8k ehp with a lot more damage. Proven time and again.. check winds gc and pf miner setups from tomorrowtech around page 47
@@timjohnson5260 low life with shavs and presence is always better lol. Being able to run three more auras reserved on your life PLUS pain attunement is not even a contest. You need to min/max so hard with a life based miner to compete with the dps. That's why every single miner on the leaderboard eventually goes LL. It's not even up for debate, the numbers don't lie.

There was an unpublished change to Soul Mantle that nerfed all curse mitigation except Atziri's Reflection, which is a 13 ex shield. It is supposed to be fixed in a patch, but it might take a while, so if you want to use GC totems you might want to avoid using soul mantle until the curse thing gets fixed.
@@muskaos it was fixed yesterday in game, but the text on the item hasnt been fixed yet. So it's back to how it was, but still looks broken. It was in the patch notes yesterday. PathofMath has a GC totem build if you're looking for a guide
Was GC or Sabo severely nerfed in the past few leagues or why is this guy acting surprised to see people playing it? I'm confused. It's always been insane, what changed this league? Because in the beginning he seems surprised that people play Sabo and even more so with GC mines.
GC mines and totems are both in a good place now, sadly it's kindof dead on arrival for selfcasting, would be nice if spell cascade actually worked with it (since its an AoE skill) but oh well... cascade + cascade = no support I guess, same goes for Wave of Conviction actually.

This was t4-5 maps at LVL 71. So it's now scaling up. DW, this will be sufficiently op when I'm done.
im playing the totem version with a decent amount of investment and the skill really lacks single target in high tier red maps.. the clear is pretty godly for a league starter though

try laying a bunch and detonating once and only once when you've built up a bunch of them, they will melt bosses fast af because of all the successive triggering bonuses from passives/gems,
you can mash like madman for clearing though lol

I've had no issues with single target from where I'm at with it. If they've had issues with single target they've missed something on their builds
I think pathofmath didnt use penetration and crit. Idk why bcause most miners use it to make stuff ez
This build demand crit. I'm melting bosses currently in red teir maps. But as with most builds, crit chance and multi are a must for this build
I heard the secret of single target was to increase aoe so the last burst explodes and hits the initial spot where you threw the mine. So you can be point blank and still hit the last burst for the 200% increase dmg.
i've been trying this skill as self cast and.... well, it's a bit....shit

im using your skill tree and i found another, also very good one. Both builds took different paths to get same skills and also completly different skills and quite different support gems and other 4 links. Im trying to compare these two. Could you take a look and maybe compare it yoursefl and let us know what you think about the skill tree choices and gems? There are quite a few places on the tree keeping my eyebrow raised. I already normalized those two builds you see below. Ive disabled items and set gems on the same lvl. Only Flasks and Jewels remain, because those are also interesting differences. But those are more about money and can also be disabled for the review.

no it doesnt slay anything. it sucks. play the build to at least t16 red map before you cover it. for all your beginners, i would say dont bother.
